The layout of the campground is such that the restroom/shower buildings are easily accessible from your campsite, but not immediately adjacent. One restroom/shower building serves about 15 campsites. They have 2 each 2 shower stalls, sinks, and toilets. Push button/auto shut off showers so- you gotta keep pushing to get more water. We've camped here 8 seasons now [family reunion getaway occupying 7 sites] and sad this this year they removed the paper towels [only air dryers] as we used them to clean up our area around the sinks when done. Now they stay messy longer as they're cleaned only once per day. Each stall is private with locking door and large enough to use to dry off. There is 1 hook on the inside of door but now where else [wish there were more] also there is a long bench just outside of the shower stalls which is handy but no shelves for your stuff. Reasonably priced park considering it's near the tourist vacation destination area.. All campsites have gravel pads but the interior roadways are paved. Sites are very roomy with lots of vegetation between sites for privacy and all among many trees for welcomed shade during hot summer months. Some sites are dry camp others are electric only no sewer hookups, but there is a dump and potable water fill station near park entrance. Also water spigots are in every loop and is no problem getting water. We camped at Mirror Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

What the other reviews said is true, but if you are not a resident of WI, or dont have a state park sticker you'll have to pay extra for it.

Value is just OK at $44 a night which is what we paid having to get a sticker.

We just stayed overnight, for a longer stay it would be better.

Lots of low hanging branches you'll have to dodge while driving in and the sites are tight for larger rigs.

Pluses are it's very nice once you get in, and quiet. We camped at Mirror Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Easy to get to and nice looking park. There are miles of hiking and biking trails. Roads are blacktop but have to watch for low hanging trees. We stayed in the Cliffwood Campground. Sites are deep, level and well spaced. Lots of vegetation between our site and adjacent sites. Did not use the restrooms. The dump station was easy to get in and out of with one dump site and one fresh water fill point. Did not use the beach but there is one and boat and kayak rentals. Hiking trails were well maintained. Would have rated higher but had to watch for low branches go to campsite and again leaving. We camped at Mirror Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was the nicest campground we have been to yet. Seems to be equally set up for tent campers as well as RV campers. The weekend we were here the camp ground was full but still very quiet. The sites were wonderfully shaded and private. There is enough vegetation between the sites so that you feel secluded. We have yet to be at a campground that you felt this way. The staff was very helpful. The trails were well marked and accessible. All in all it was a great weekend. We are definitely coming back We camped at Mirror Lake State Park in a Tent.

Very nice state park on a beautiful lake, conveniently located near all the Wisconsin Dells attractions. Close to the highway, but far enough away to not hear it from most sites. Camping is typical of Wisconsin state parks (sufficient amenities such as showers & electric, but leaning towards the rustic side). Many sites are located in a pine forest and some offer lake views. Good for most tent trailers and RVs, but some big rigs might have problems getting around some of the loops. The lake is fantastic for canoeing/kayaking-- especially into the canyoned arm just across from the boat landing. Rental boats are available at the concession stand. There's also a nice picnic area and beach. We camped at Mirror Lake State Park in a Tent Trailer.
