We were here in January with the scouts. in the winter they allow scouts or youth groups to camp in the cave. the kids have a blast camping and exploring in the cave. in the summer they have guided cave tours. They have the best food I have ever had at a campground, pancakes and sausage in the a.m., home made Sloppy Joe for lunch and some of the best fried chicken and mashed potatoes I have ever had for dinner. The campground itself is older, it has been open for tours for over 100 years and the campground opened after that. The campground itself is OK. I took a walk through it because it was nice out for a change. It`s a little tight, I think I could stick my 35 foot travel trailer in about 4 of the sites the rest are good for about a 25 footer! Hookups looked to be in good condition. One side of the campground looks over a nice valley, beautiful setting! The have canoe trips down the close by Wisconsin River and the longer trips they cater the food from the campground to the stops along the way. The campground does have a small mini golf course, and they are talking about putting in a pool in the next year or two. The bathhouse was kept up with pretty good considering the number of people that are using it. it does seem dirty, but I think that is because it is older and gives it that dirty feeling. All in all a nice family run campground in the middle of WI. We camped at Eagle Cave Resort in a Tent.Undo
