Ugh!

Lowest campground power I have ever seen!

Voltage dropped from 122 volts to 98 volts when I turned on the air conditioner! Fortunately, it was cool enough in the evening that we didn't need it.

Interior roads a mess! Lumpy and bumpy, full of mud holes.

Our friends in a 5th wheel had to put their truck in 4-wheel drive to get in and out of their site. I understand the campground can't stop the rain, but they can put gravel down!

Looked like a junkyard as we entered with derelict campers and unidentifiable machinery.

This campground appears to cater to locals who want to get away for the weekend.

Sorry, just can't agree with previous reviews. I would have rated it a bit higher had the electrical been up to par, but not by much.

When I spoke to the campground about the power situation, I was told that when it rains, the power is bad. Obviously, they know there is a problem but have not addressed the issue. Maybe it was just my site, I don't know.

Our site was barely long enough for our 28 foot TT. We had to park our tow at an unused site nearby. We camped at Hilly Haven Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Driveway in has you wondering where you will end up; road looks as though it washes out occasionally. There were two nights of heavy rain and grass sites were soft and became muddy. Electric dropped to below 110 volts, which is not good for onboard electrical/electronics.

Campground is remote and quiet. But also lies low. Our site happened to be in a low area of the campground. Marsh was across the road. Believe it or not, there were NO mosquitoes, which was great! We camped at Hilly Haven Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

It is a little ways from activities in Sheybogan and Kohler, which is what we were there for. But it was quiet, dark at night, and the hosts couldn't be any nicer! They escorted us to our site, helped with directional parking, had trimmed some trees to make sure we wouldn't scratch our new rig and in fact gave us 2 sites to use. Table provided, fire ring. Appears they have a number of seasonal residents and the campground is tiered. NO Wi-Fi, but she offered to come up to the office and use her hot spot. Security cameras and Lake Ellen is within walking distance, very pretty setting. For the price and friendliness we would definitely consider staying here again. We camped at Hilly Haven Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I thought this campground was great. The owners are very friendly and really take pride in the campground. The grounds are great. The owner has a lot of old tractors and machinery but that adds to the old days effect of the property. A couple areas should be cleaned up or organized, but it was great when we were there. It is very hidden, and at night you cannot enter after 11pm, which is nice for security and safety. The access to the lake is great, along with a very clean lake. You can have fun tubing or skiing on the lake which is great if you live in Milwaukee. it is very close to drive. The bathrooms were very clean, had flush toilets and showers, and had great pressure. There were laundry facilities also, and play area for children. Campsites are great, and very secluded, and private. For the price you pay and the amenities that are offered I would choose this campground! The people that had seasonal areas were very friendly. The pool was great, and the mini golf was fun. Lots of frogs and toads by the lagoon area. Our kids had a great time, and I would recommend this to everyone. It would be great to know if they will have different themes for the holidays or weekends in the upcoming summer of 2011. That would attract more people, and make the campground a great way to meet new friends and families. My family will definitely be back in 2011. We even brought our 2 dogs, and we were welcomed and not turned away! We camped at Hilly Haven Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly park and hosts. Sites all looked level. Very shady, and a bit overgrown. Nice place overall, adequate, but was not laid out for big rigs, roads were too tight and narrow. Campsites were spotted well, not to close together. Water pressure was good. We camped at Hilly Haven Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I think this may be my new favorite campground! Don't be fooled by the long dusty road into camp, this place is great with plenty of fun activities for the kids. They loved the mini golf and the kayaking on Lake Ellen. It's also close to a lot of great daytrips in the Kettle Moraine. They'll be seeing a lot of us in 2009! We camped at Hilly Haven Campground in a Tent Trailer.

This is a quiet family run park with plenty of shaded campsites. There are some steep hills (hence the name) which make for some fun trails to explore. The lake is great for canoeing or fishing, but is not much for swimming. All in all, a quiet relaxing stay! We camped at Hilly Haven Campground in a Travel Trailer.
