This is our second visit here. It's in a campground-like setting away from traffic so it's nice and quiet. WiFi was good. Restrooms are old but clean. Lots of space in between neighbors. Site was level and long enough for our 40' coach and trailer. New owners but the previous owner was still there and very helpful and friendly. He walked us to our site. Did not use any TV. No amenities to speak of. Cash or check only. Water quality and pressure were fine. No sewer but a dump station is available. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company is nice. Go find Weaver's to shop for seeds, grains, all that sort of thing. Lake nearby has a great swimming beach with lawn and sand.

We spent one night at Pine Harbor Campground in our 39' fifth wheel. We stayed in a quite spacious pull-through site with 50 amp + water among the trees. FHU's are not available due to the many mature trees but there is a dump station on site. The owner was extremely friendly. Since we were just passing through the area, we did not get to enjoy any of the facilities. We would return if in the area. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pretty much the same as others have said, small place run by the owners, lots of seasonal people. Owners were super nice and helpful. My spot was dirt and grass but very level and easy to back in to. Everything was very clean and tidy. Water and electric only at my site but that was not a problem, dump station on the way out. Very pretty and quiet surroundings, lots of nice trees. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

As others have described, this is a very nice campground among the trees run by the owners, a friendly and helpful couple who I imagine farmed this land once maybe. The location is quiet and not on a through road. The owners have taken great care to provide playgrounds, a covered pavilion, and open space. The sites are a bit random but there's plenty of space, at least where we stayed in the area with no sewers. Water connections are shared...no problem, three spigots. Sewer would have been nice but among mature trees that'd be pretty hard to do. The front office is open late and sells ice cream...the proprietors could not be nicer. There are pieces of farm art/sculptures scattered around the campground. My only concern is that the bathroom/bath house should be modernized...they show age...but the owners do keep everything pretty clean. We'd go back. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There's an excellent bakery nearby and the brewery tour in Chippawa Falls is very good. A large state park and hiking trails are north across the water.

What a nice ma and pa operation this is. The park is off the highway and bridge construction made finding the campground a bit of a chore. The good news is that we were rewarded with a wonderful night's sleep in a very quiet environment. Yes, the bath and showers are old and in need of upgrades...but they are clean. There are wonderful large athletic-like grass playing area for football/soccer/frisbee activities and a large covered pavilion with many picnic tables for reunions or what ever. Other playground equipment for the younger generation...all of this some distance away from the campground itself but connected. It is simply a very nice park. Yes, we would stay here again if traveling through Chippewa Falls again. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Quiet setting, level, big sites. Bathroom and shower facilities dated. Full time seasonal sites have full hookups, daily sites only water and electric. Satellite service unavailable due to trees, but WiFi was great, we were within 20 feet of connection. Cash or check only, no credit cards. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Check out Lake Wissota. Country roads a little confusing for first timers. Check out the local eateries.

Cash or Check only. Electric and water. No sewer but there's a dump station. Nice, nice setting for a campground. Shade, and LOTS of space. I counted off 60-feet between units. The owner, Pat, was terrific. Walked over to our pull-through to make sure we got settled in. We have a 40' with a 21' trailer and we fit in our site just fine. Big storm came through and knocked down lots of branches. Next day, she was out cleaning up the park. Very quiet at night. Half the park are permanents but nice and neat. Ice cream social on Saturday night. Good grocery store is about 2-3 miles away. Gorgeous countryside surrounding. Bathrooms could use a new coat of paint but they were clean. We'd come here again. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Make sure you get to Lennie's Lounge in town for Jacob Leinenkugel beer samples. Fun atmosphere, and right across from there is a great sandwich take out place...Barista's or something like that. Very good grocery store nearby called Gordy's.

Previous reviewers listed Sewer hookups, but they appear to be only available for the seasonal sites: which account for about 1/2 the campground. This is a nice, average campground with a staff that seems to care about the campground. Camp WiFi was very good 4G. Also, my Verizon phones and data card worked very well. 4G speeds as well. The campground is conveniently located close to Chippewa Falls for groceries and dining. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Very friendly staff, consistently strong and fast Wi-Fi, shower/rest rooms cleaned daily, nice laundry facility, and nice well maintained landscaping. Surrounding area is beautiful with Lake Wissota State Park a stone's throw away. I stayed here for a month and would go back in a heartbeat. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Great campground. Dirt roads, camp site on grass and the sites are very large. Big mature trees that give a lot of shade. Water and electric only but there is a dump station. Friendly host and the people we talked to have come back year after year. Large childrens play ground and on Saturday night the campground participated in a Luau/pot luck. Again friendly campers and food. Perfect. Definitely a great experience. Lots to enjoy. Used antenna and Dish, good reception. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Love this campground! We were camping here for the weekend, with friends, and used site #14, which allowed us to make a "U" with our rigs. There were several groups like ours for the holiday weekend, and the owners here are always accommodating for groups as well as single units. The place is clean, very quiet, far enough off the beaten track, but not too far from the town. Tall trees provide lots of shade. Would definitely stay here again! We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice and quiet campground. It was full when we arrived. We intended on staying at the State Park but the RV in front of me in line got the last spot. The park host gave us a list of local campgrounds to try and we picked Pine Harbor. I'm told it was the right choice. This was only a stop over on our way to Minnesota. Extremely accommodating owners who live on site. The gentleman who greeted us sympathized with us and squeezed us into a seasonal site where the tenants were not there. Most sites are huge. Our shared site accommodated my 30' trailer and a 34' seasonal trailer with plenty of room to spare. From discussions with other campers, the sites really hold a lot of water when it rains but eventually goes down. All sand and grass sites. Bathrooms and showers are big and clean. Only gave a 9 because we got there relatively late and left early. Did seem to be a family get together place for the seasonals. Lot's of family. Very respectful and quiet though. A ways off the beaten path so I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to stay there. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We've stayed here a number of times. It is a quiet RV park, even on a holiday weekend. The owners are extremely nice, and make popcorn on holiday weekends. The showers/restrooms could use updating and/or fresh paint--they are looking a bit run down. We don't normally use the showers in a campground, but were having a problem with our rig's shower. There is a small playground for kids, but not a lot of other things for kids to do. It probably contributes to the quietness of the campground. We would stay here again. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice basic campground for an overnight stay. No sewer, but a convenient dump station on the way out. Join the staff for a pancake breakfast if you are there on Saturday morning. We would stay here again if it were along our route. We camped at Pine Harbor Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
