We stayed here in our 28 foot travel trailer. My nephew and his friend stayed in a tent on our site with us. The cost is $8 per person per night. However, if you want electric it is an additional $5 per person per night. That made the price ridiculous. We found the hosts to be very nice, and extremely accommodating. We like wi-fi when we camp and although we found 2 connections available, the bar/lounge bartender told us to ask the campground for the password, and the campground hosts told us to ask at the bar/lounge. We never did get the password. The showers were acceptable, but 25 cents buys you 2 minutes. The bathrooms in the shower house were clean. There were outhouses right next to our site that were disgusting. Wood is $10, but it buys u a good amount. We did participate in rafting. That was a good time, and most likely the only reason we would stay here again. We camped at Peshtigo River Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $29.00
This campground is set along the Peshtigo River, and has a tubing/canoe rental business as well. The sites are adequate with water and electric hookup at the RV sites, and no hookups at the tent only sites. The restrooms were not well kept--dirty and out of paper most times. The swimming hole is in the river but with muddy banks and rocky bottom. The owners are quite rude and unpleasant. I do not recommend this campground.
