As other reviewers have reported, this is a very nice campground. We have been coming here since 2009, usually once or twice a year. If I had rated the campground during previous visits, I would have given it a 9 rating because I could never use the free Wi-Fi, and had to rely on my Verizon Hotspot. During some visits, the Wi-Fi didn't even work in the office.
The Wi-Fi problems no longer exist. The campground has changed ownership since last year, and the new owners have upgraded the Wi-Fi system. During my current visit in April 2015, the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. It was very fast with a strong signal. It is the best Wi-Fi that I have had at any KOA. The campground now rates a perfect 10. - CarlW
Not a bad place for a one night stop, but not long term. The location is a little remote and a little expensive for what you get. The bathrooms were very clean. - 600 Day Travelers
100% pull-through full-hookup sites. A little short by today's standards--we are 50' total with truck and trailer, and were almost hanging out the ends of the site. Easy to get into due to layout of the park. Adequate space for awning and slides if you have them. No shade at any site I saw, weak Wi-Fi signal. VERY pleasant and helpful staff, escorted to site, spray-disinfected the water hookup, helped us line up with sewer, took and returned propane tank for fill. Ideal location for overnight stop, the trade-off is significant road noise from nearby interstate. Otherwise very quiet. - coolmom42
This park has about 40 spots with about half of them being 30 amp electric. There is a water fill and a dump station. This is "campground" so some of the sites are only appropriate for tent trailers and smaller trailers and motorhomes. There were about a dozen large motorhomes and 5th wheels here while we were here. This park is located adjacent to I-39/90/94 at the junction with US 51. This campground is at the far end of the park so there is no road noise. We had reservations so there was a large site that accommodated our rig nicely. Not all the sites are as level as our site, and the power post is far enough away on some sites that you will need an extension cord. - skigramp
We gave this park a low grade because there wasn't a fresh water hook up anywhere in the park except at the dump station... and it didn't have a threaded hose bib to connect to your motor home. Half of the sites aren't level but they are spacious with lots of trees. Also the trash is very far from the sites. The bathrooms were old and not too clean. The hosts were very nice and helpful, though. Even with a low rating we would stay here again going cross country. - portecmp
This is a county park with a lot of potential. The sites are wide, however for my low rating is the fact the park is out of the times. There are no pads leveling is very hard. Some of the electric boxes are too far away for normal elecric cords. I would not stay again. - rving4fun
