Stay there a week. It’s a beautiful campground to stay at. The sites are very spacious and the roads are wide enough to drive through The only downside with that park is the Wi-Fi. You can get the Wi-Fi by the office it’s on 24 hours a day And a nice picnic tables to sit down We backed up to the trees and the colors were beautiful. Our site was well wooded. The park is a little pricey but he would stay there again The sites are gravel and level and had good power We camped at Rustic Timbers Door County Camping (formerly Door County Camping Retre in a Fifth Wheel.

I spent three days at Rustic Timbers. The campground was lovely, especially with the lush fall colors. The lanes were wide enough to navigate my rig easily, and the site itself was reasonably sized. It was a little pricy, but otherwise the only negative aspect was the near absence of celluar service, and thus of internet, given my reliance on a cellular hotspot. For me, that's a deal-breaker. I won't go back to Door County at all. You might have quite different priorities. We camped at Rustic Timbers Door County Camping (formerly Door County Camping Retre in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a pull thru full hook-up site with 50 AMPS. The site was wide, level and long enough for our needs. This campground was purchased by new owners since we where there last and a lot of improvements have been made to the campground. Beautiful park, well cared for, family friendly. Lots of shade with level, clean campsites. Swimming pool, water slide and activities for kids. Camp store with necessities, clothing and fun stuff. Owners are friendly, helpful and upbeat. This park is the jewel of Door County and a great place to stay. Overall Rating:

This park is really for seasonal campers and families with kids. You can tell how things have expanded over the years, with the original small tent/pop-up sites in concentric rings in one area, and the larger sites in another. There are mostly seasonal sites, with a smaller number of spaces allocated for transients. Although the office and recreation facilities are in a wide-open field, almost all the sites are heavily wooded. Satellite signals are difficult to come by; ask specifically if that is important to you. OTA TV from Green Bay was decent, although we were on the fringe of reception there. The new owners are still learning the ropes. We reserved and deposited a 50A site but were directed to a 30A space. The "It's 50A on the map; we never knew" response was a little disconcerting, but we were moved to a 50A space. Be very careful with charges, as our deposit didn't match the daily rate, had a $5 "Internet Access" charge that was explained as a service fee for online reservations (we didn't make our reservation online), and wasn't reflected on our check-in charge. They have WiFi in and around the office area but it's only for seasonal guests as were weren't given the access code. They did a movie on Friday night at the pavilion and there was some kind of very loud charity auction on Saturday. This park is a haven for kids of all ages, with a large pool, bouncey-thingie, water slide and other toys all available. If you don't match that profile, you may not "fit in". Easy access, utilities worked, picnic table, fire pit, sat came in from roof. Verizon cell phone on extended network - Mi-fi did not work usually. They had wi-fi in office. Very nice owners. Full hookups. We camped at Rustic Timbers Door County Camping (formerly Door County Camping Retre in a Motorhome.

Rate is for a full hookup 50 amp space. No discounts offered. Park has new owners as of 2013. Heavily treed with gravel roads and site pads. Park is very quiet and well maintained and is located north of Sturgeon Bay but south of Egg Harbor. Wi-Fi did not work at our site and the water pressure was so low that we had to run off our holding tank. Kind of shame, given what we paid in a nightly rate. Lots of stuff for kids and park is very family oriented. We would try a different campground if we were to visit again. This is a well-maintained and friendly park. Most sites are heavily wooded and satellite TV is accessible from only a few sites; site 32 is one of them. All hook-ups worked well. I couldn't get a Verizon data signal on my iPad. The laundry room has four washers and two dryers with only one working dryer. It seems to be a kid-friendly park. Stayed here in a Pop Up site 132. Plenty of things to do for Kids 9 and 14. Disc golf for free. Nice pool, biking and hiking areas. Stayed here for 5 nights and were probably the cleanest restroom showers I've ever seen camping 20 + years. This is a conveniently located campground for all the Door County area. Most sites are very heavily wooded and the access roads are very tight especially for larger rigs. We were originally given a site that our unit would not have begun to fit into. We went back to the office and they put us into a W/E site only, but it was large enough for our 42' motorhome. The owner was able to find us another site about 4 days later that had W/E/S without charging us extra. There appeared to be lots of activities for the kids. Not very many sites for larger rigs. Need to be certain when reserving to ensure they have a good spot available for a big rig. We would camp here again. We camped in a 42' motorhome. This rate reflects the weekly rate. This was a great place and we had a good experience here. We had a pull-thru site that was level, wide and long with great access to the utilities. Good place to ride bikes and also had nice walking paths. We were in site #41 and the only problem we had was the sewer smell that came our way on the wings of an easterly breeze. We will return here on our next trip to Door County but will pick a different site. We camped at Rustic Timbers Door County Camping (formerly Door County Camping Retre in a Fifth Wheel.

We have a small trailer (19') and had a hard time backing in to a very tight spot. Roads needs some repair. Some of the shower heads didn't work very well and needed to be replaced. We camped at Rustic Timbers Door County Camping (formerly Door County Camping Retre in a Tent Trailer.

A nice park located in Door County Wisconsin. Centrally located to all places of interest. We stayed in one of the pull through sites. Our site had nice grassy area with limited trees. Restroom and pool area were very clean. This resort is very quiet which is a bonus to us. Downside was the roads are very tight for larger RV's. If your sites is not close to the store Wi-Fi doesn't work very well. We camped at Rustic Timbers Door County Camping (formerly Door County Camping Retre in a Fifth Wheel.

This is good place to camp in Door County. The park is heavily wooded, but we were OK with a 34-footer with slides. We camped at Rustic Timbers Door County Camping (formerly Door County Camping Retre in a Fifth Wheel.

A great park that is heavily wooded with plenty of room between sites. Bathrooms are well kept. Lots of stuff for kids to do with pool, game room, playground, movies outside at night, etc. Sanitary dump has two stations which keeps things moving. Apparently they are working on building out a new full hookup area and more Wi-Fi is on the way for next year. We will definitely be back!
