Beautiful county park. We stayed in lot 44 and had excellent DISH tv service. Verizon cell and internet service also excellent. Quite a few beautiful trees, though, so not all sites would have good reception. We needed 50' electrical cord and 50' water hose to reach the utilities. Site was a level asphalt pad. The boat ramp, beach, and playground looked wonderful, however we didn't use them. Due to off season, the snack bar wasn't open, but looked great. We would definitely stay here again if passing through. - Cindy Sue

I stayed here for two nights (over the weekend) while passing through in a 27 foot motorhome with a tow car. This is a large county park and campground with lots of amenities for weekend campers. It was also wall to wall RVs, boats, trailers, cars, and people all weekend. There are no natural areas or hiking trails in the park or in the neighboring area. Only hiking trail is in town and runs next to an active railroad line. Campground has two loops -- the front loop along the lake which is grassy and open with trees and has paved pads and fairly spacious sites (many taken by seasonal campers) and the back loop which has dirt/grass sites and fills a corner near the roads. My site -- 59 -- was in the pine trees as were several other sites around me one of which a man with a fifth wheel never could fit in to. I liked my site. Very spacious and away from all the commotion although it did back up to a (little used) road. Other sites with higher numbers on the back loop are in the open and very tightly spaced. I had made an onsite reservation but my site wasn't marked reserved which was a little alarming since I arrived on a Friday. As others have noted the sites share electric poles and water spigots so you can be a LONG way away from your hookups. I was the only person in the campground with a tow car. Boating was the big draw as was the beach and the snack bar which is open till 10 pm and whose parking lot was jammed with cars and folk hanging about. No big rigs present. It worked as a place to spend a weekend while traveling but I wouldn't be back. Verizon was extended service but worked well. - SoloRed

Great campground that provides both electric and water on majority of sites. Located on large, full wake lake with sand beach and boat landing. Has many items available to rent like paddle boats, paddle boards, tennis rackets, and games. Also has a nice playground, gaga ball, outdoor foosball and outdoor pool. Sites are large and easy to maneuver in, some even have concrete pads. Camp store has lots of the necessities and snack bar has both hot food and treats. - 5thatdrive

It is all asphalt. No place to take the dog. No picnic tables. This is a big parking lot with a electric box. Husband says there is not any level ground. Received five dollars in match play, free continental breakfast in restaurant located in the casino and a $2.00 restaurant coupon. - SallyJack172
Oct 2007 - $15.00
Great, cheap place to stop off for a day or 2 to get a few hours rest and do some gambling. At only $15/night for electrical its a great value. Not exactly the type of place to stay for a period of time but nice if you want to do some gambling. $5 coupon per person to use in the casino was included with our stay. Great restaurant inside casino. - Jason & Jennifer

Beautiful city operated park, nearly surrounded by the Oconto River. Interior roads are asphalt, with deterioration and speed bumps. Parking sites are gravel and grass, but do not park on the grass. Our site was very spacious, but awkward to back into, leaving will nearly require a U-turn. Extra charges to play putt-putt. Office has short hours. You must sort your trash for recycling. canoes/kayaks available to rent, campfire pit rings available. It has been raining steadily and we are dry but surrounded by large puddles of rainwater. Of course, we would return! - waywardwind

Sites are very small; pull-throughs do not have full hookups so had to get a back-in site which meant unhooking our towed first and parking it in an unused spot. It was quiet for the 7 nights we stayed there (visiting nearby relatives and side trip to Door County). Worst part was sites not level and could not use levelers because ground too soft. There are goose droppings everywhere; had to borrow a rake from groundskeeper to police our site before we unhooked. Actually a nice play to stay, very clean (except for the geese) but not big-rig friendly at all. - ParrotMom
Jul 2016 - $30.00
The electrical service is spotty. Sometimes the voltage drops and caused one of our air conditioners to stop working. We are in site 22 and the electrical box is shared with site 23. The electrical box has a 50 amp plug and a 30 plug. It is almost 100 degrees here today and we need to have reliable AC.
The site is grass but it is level and firm. It is short so the car has to be parked in between coaches.
Water is good and satellite got a lock. There is a road on the other side of the river but noise is minimal.
40 minute drive to Lambeau Field. - pcmike
Jul 2018 - $10.00
Hard to navigate up to full service sites with 43 ft fifth wheel. Limited full service sites and not nearly enough bathrooms for a full park. One toilet stayed plugged up all weekend. Office staff couldn't even tell you where an RV parts store was. Hot tub was pretty dirty. No WiFi. - Rbrownea
May 2018 - $45.00
This was the best camping trip we have ever been on. We arrived on a Saturday about 1 pm. The lots were very spacious and we could pick anyone we wanted. They have kayaks, paddle boats, and canoes you can check out and use. They have an indoor heated pool and a hot tub besides the lake. they are very kid friendly and pet friendly. They even have a dog beach. Are vehicles battery died and they brought a charger right to our site, so that we did not have to worry about how we were going to get it started when it was time to leave. We tried all the amenities including eating at the thirsty whale wow they had awesome food reasonably priced. - sexyteddy
Aug 2017 - $5.00
Large park. Very spread out. Most of the camp lots are heavily treed. Interior roads are tight, tree lined and confusing. The park is remote so bring in what you need. Most of the spots are a hike to amenities and some may need to drive to the pool or lake. There is no WIFI or TV. Verizon cell was ok with 2 bars. We were able to get satelite but it was very difficult to set up. Most sites here are permanent or seasonal. - BrianStacifulltimers
May 2016 - $20.00
My wife and I stayed at this campgrounds for quite a few years. Its very clean and the showers are very clean. The camp hosts are very friendly and helpful.. All the RV pads are paved and levelish. We stay there every year for about a week. The Rangers are very friendly, nice people to know.. - loneman44
Jun 2011 - $20.00
We love this park and have camped here several times. The sites are large and well separated and the park is very well maintained. There's a very nice sandy beach for families with young children. Sometimes we get TV reception with our RV antenna, sometimes we don't! All of the sites have a paved driveway and most are quite level. - PaulHart
Jun 2010 - $20.00
It is a very nice campground. It is hard to get into electric sites unless you come early in the week Tues/Wed. Reservations can be made but far, far in advance! The beach is beautiful and the road is nicely paved which is great for bike riding! This campground would benefit from a playground for the kids! This is one of our favorites! - mihalko05
