Great owners/managers. They are friendly and helpful. The sites are a little on the tight side but not a problem. Location is great for local area and Green Bay exploration. We camped at Kewaunee RV & Campground, LLC in a Motorhome.

Clean, neat park, with many pull-through slots & full hookups. People in park were friendly - easy to strike up a conversation with our neighbors. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We followed their cart to our slot. Sites were fairly level - level enough that we decided not to block up either side of RV. I had to drop the front of the 5th wheel q bit, to gt level front to back. All services worked well. They even had a pool, although we didn't get a chance to use it, since we were there only 2 nights, and we wanted to explore Door County. We camped at Kewaunee RV & Campground, LLC in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Door County has a lot to offer. We were south of this county that is the tip of the peninsula, but not a long distance to get there. Cherries were being harvested, so we bought plenty (yum!). Toured the towns, the end of the peninsula, ate a great lunch. If we come back, I would like to stay at least a week.

We stayed in this park for a few days and very much enjoyed our stay. The sites are close but not on top of each other. Each site has a fire ring and a picnic table. The owners are very friendly and helpful. He is a sculptor so there's these beautiful and interesting metal sculptures thru out the park. These are new owners and they are making improvements throughout the park. There is a large yard where you can walk your dog. They have a heated pool that we didn't try. We unhooked our tow car at the entrance because the site was a little too tight to swing our MH into. Our tow car fit behind the MH sideways. We would stay here again if we find ourselves in the area. We camped at Kewaunee RV & Campground, LLC in a Motorhome.

This was a nice place to spend four days. Owners bought the place about 3 years ago and are steadily improving the place with tree trimming, leveling sites, completely re-working the mini-golf area, improved infrastructure and more. Very helpful owners. I wanted to get some propane at 8am when we left and, a bit before 8, the owner came by to make sure I still needed it and told us he'd be ready. Nice touch. Location is great....right next to the town and mid-way between Algoma and Two Rivers/Manitowoc area. WiFi worked fine but is better closer to the office. They have three rows of full-time sites and five rows for the rest of us....plenty. Sites were a bit close but that's because of the previous layout. Quiet at night. They have a heated pool, but we never used it. Restrooms were clean, a bit old. Water quality and pressure were fine. Just barely fit in our site with the 40'coach and trailer. Site was a bit unlevel side to side but we got it right. We'd stay here again. We camped at Kewaunee RV & Campground, LLC in a Motorhome.

Make sure you go see the life-size metal giraffe at the local zoo and spend some time looking at all the wonderful metal structures and art pieces around. They were all done by the owner of the rv park.

The park is just past the downtown area and easy to find. Check in was easy, and we were guided to our site. The interior road was a mix of dirt and gravel. The site was a mix of gravel and grass, but fairly level, as we had no problems getting level and no problems getting everything connected. We found that even with the trees, our satellite TV worked well, as did the OTA TV. We were told when we checked in that the Wi-Fi worked better towards the office, which we found to be true, because it didn't work well at our site. We ended up using out hotspots more then we did the Wi-Fi. AT&T cell phones worked well. We would stay there again, if in the area. We camped at Kewaunee RV & Campground, LLC in a Motorhome.

This is our kind of campground! Quiet with level, full-hook-up sites and easy access in and out. New owners are obviously making improvements on a daily basis. The dirt sites mentioned in an earlier review were being replaced with gravel while we were there. We had a maintenance issue with our RV and the owners could not have been more helpful. The area was beautiful and we loved exploring Door County. No cable but OTA worked fine (from Green Bay). Our site was also satellite friendly and got decent Verizon reception. The new ownership is slowly making improvements to the park. Yes, the sites are small but they also do a good job of making sure the bigger rigs get the bigger spots, plus they do try to stagger the sites when possible. Yes, they have in-ground fire pits that they are turning into above-ground pits. The soil in the area is clay so when you have are lot of rain the pits do fill up. They did bring us an extra fire ring so we didn't have to bail our pit for a third time. We camped at Kewaunee RV & Campground, LLC in a Travel Trailer.

Bathrooms were clean, but showers were not, same 'hair glob' on the wall for two straight days. Fire rings are dangerous as they are hubs in the ground with no barrier to prevent falling into them in the dark. Ring was also located so close to our propane tanks we couldn't use it. Sites are dirt as are roads. Owners are new and have lots of improvements to make before we would stay here again. We also rented a sleeping cabin, which had spider webs everywhere, didn't look like it had had any attention for a while. The entire campground looks like an old KOA which needs lots of TLC. Site was not really long enough to accommodate our RV and tow vehicle. We camped at Kewaunee RV & Campground, LLC in a Motorhome.

The new owners are friendly and very accommodating. Due to rain we asked to stay 2 additional nights. Although they were booked, our request was accommodated. Level gravel sites with grass for the picnic table. Our favorite part were the LARGE grassy fields where the dogs could get exercise and roll around. Our daily rate of $39.00 was based on a 7 day stay with a Good Sam discount, pretty pricey! As others have mentioned, this is an old tired KOA. All interior roads are dirt. Spaces are dirt and weeds. Fire rings are wheel hubs sunk in the ground with no grates. Pool was nice but chilly for a heated pool. WiFi was not usable from your site. No cable TV but you can pick up several clear over the air stations.
Town itself is just OK, not much to do. ShopKo directly across the street, good prices. This is a gateway to Door County. We spent a day touring there... Unless you really like overpriced antique shops, eateries and numerous tourist traps along with hundreds of overpriced hotels, save your time and money. We were pretty disappointed.
We have paid less in many campgrounds and gotten considerably better facilities etc. This park is way overpriced having dirt roads and parking pads, no accessible WiFi from your site and no cable TV. Combine that with the disillusioning Door County trip and we probably won't return. Sorry... We camped at Kewaunee RV & Campground, LLC in a Fifth Wheel.

This park needs to be updated. It looks like and old KOA from the 70's or 80's that's never been updated. Not enough 50 amp spots lots of long term residence. The trees are over grown and touched the top of our rv. They advertise a heated pool but the cover on the pool looked like it had not been removed all summer with lots of debris on top. The mini golf was run down and very old. The playground had broken toys. The common area had really old nasty musty furniture and inoperable video games. There was a big black dog living in the office area and dog hair covering the carpet. The worst part was the mean employees that live in the park. There is a grumpy old lady and her daughter working here and they like to bully kids. They live right across from the play ground and are down right mean! They like to yell and shout at people instead of talking in a kind voice. They watch out their window and bullied our boys (ages 10 and 13) right after I walked away. This is definitely not a family friendly park. It has a lot of potential, but needs some major updating and cleaning along with friendlier employees. I would not stay here again. This was our first time in Wisconsin, and out of the 8 days here, it rained 6! We stayed this long because we were waiting on a UPS package. While here, we visited Door County & Green Bay. It was a bit of a drive, but we needed a "base camp" for the delivery, so this was it! Staff was great, place was practically empty most of the time. If it hadn't been raining, it really would have been nice. Because of that, even when it wasn't there were little gnats or what-have-you flitting around, so it didn't make for a pleasant time sitting outside (at least for us, although others were). They had a nice pool, mini-golf area & game room for the kids. The town itself is small, but had one nice restaurant and a fun Tug Boat to tour, but other than that, you needed to drive to see. Easy in & out though, and big enough sites. Nothing special, but not bad either. Wouldn't have stayed here more than a couple of days if we hadn't needed to though. We camped at Kewaunee RV & Campground, LLC in a Motorhome.
