This is a clean, family-friendly, rustic park within 10 minutes of Wisconsin Dells attractions. It is suitable for big rigs, but pre-plan your route through the park to avoid getting in tight situations. Sites are spacious and level. The heated pool, kiddie splash pad, playground and mini-golf made it a nice place to bring the grandkids. We camped at Yukon Trails Camping in a Motorhome.Undo

Extremely tight sites. I had a drive through and had to thread the needle to fit between the trees. They had a lot of rain and the dirt/sand roads were muddy to the point I was worried about getting stuck while attempting to negotiate the turns. A park model, had fallen partially into a sink hole and stayed there! Nice office and very friendly staff. They were over booked and in a lather over fitting people in. Will not stay here again! This is a Passport America campground. Would not stay here again. Our site was between dense tall trees with no sewer hook-up, although they came around and dumped us. We were in a motorhome with a towed car and were barely able to maneuver out the next morning without unhooking the car. The staff was very friendly. There was no wi-fi. We were excited to read the online amenities like Friday night fish fry delivered to your site, and donuts in the morning. We paid in advance for our weekend, and upon arrival, were not happy with the tiny campsites, unmaintained sites, and pay showers. There was a mix-up as to our reserved site, and when that finally was resolved, and we saw the open and crowded conditions of the site, we needed to move again. After deciding to leave and drive to another campground, we were told we had to forfeit our entire payment, even though our receipt clearly stated that one night's deposit would be kept in the event of a cancellation. The pool was dirty, the showers were barely shoulder high, the bathrooms were filthy and the poor customer service was disappointing. We've paid less for fantastic sites at Kilby Lake Campground, and should have gone there. We will not be back to Yukon Trails, ever. We camped at Yukon Trails Camping in a Tent.Undo
This is just an OK place as far as we were concerned. There is really to much shade if that can be a problem. So much dust and dirt since there is no grass. The only area that has grass is down by the small lake. Which is fine except you can't walk there because it was covered with dog waste. You couldn't take a step without stepping in it. What a mess. That was the area for fishing and swimming. There are also tons of trailers and campers that are there on a permanent basis. It sort of had the look of a "trailer park." Each had their own versions of decks, porches, storage facilities and other built-ons. Right at dinner time each evening the management came by on a huge tractor to empty the septic systems: YUCK. We had a problem with a leak at our water connection. Instead of letting us know, the guy announced it to several of the other RVers in the area around us. My husband who was inside at the time heard him YELL: "Here is a problem that I do not like to see, this guy has a leak!" OK, just tell us, it turned out to be something in the faucet and we were
unable to connect to the water. I am sure that after checking out some of the other facilities in the area we will not go back. We camped at Yukon Trails Camping in a Motorhome.
We just got back from a week-long stay at Yukon Trails. Overall, we had a pretty nice time there. We chose it based on recommendations from friends who had been there before. It is very conveniently located if you plan on visiting attractions in Wisconsin Dells. We have a 3 and a 5 year-old son. Activities for children this age were abundant. They have a large playground with a wide variety of well-maintained equipment. There is a 9-hole mini golf area and swimming pools. During our stay, they had stuffed animal races for the kids. They also had a highly-visible arcade which had the kids begging constantly for quarters. :-( We found the staff to be EXTREMELY friendly and efficient. The place was very clean... The prices for
everything were reasonable. We didn't feel like we were being price-gouged for things like ice and to have the tanks on the trailer emptied. We arrived during the early evening on Friday and set up camp. We were not prepared to cook a meal and were extremely happy to have dinners delivered to our site. The food was very good, hot and reasonably priced. Although a previous reviewer said the tractor was out every night at dinner time pumping sewage, I didn't observe the same thing. Instead, a smaller tractor pulling a train of wagons (The Wilderness Express) took kids on a ride through the woods surrounding the camping area every night at about dinner time. The man driving the tractor (I think his name is Daryl) is also the guy who has the yucky job of emptying tanks. There are a few things we would do differently next time we stay. (Yes, we'll definitely be back...) We stayed in site 11 which is situated near a row of seasonal/permanent sites. This site really did feel like a mobile-home park rather than a campground. In addition, sites 11 and 13 are right next to a vent pipe for what appears to be (and smelled like) a drain field for a septic system. These sites should be avoided by anyone staying here because the frequent odor of sewage was noticed while sitting next to the campfire. It was awful... We would have moved to another site but it would have involved too much work. Now that we are familiar with the campground, we will simply choose from
sites in other areas of the campground. We camped at Yukon Trails Camping in a Travel Trailer.
Great campground! We came here after Ski High campground in Portage screwed us over. This place is so nice it spoiled us for all other campgrounds forever. They have a great pool area with a kiddie pool, lots of playgrounds, and activities all the time. Also they have a great lounge area with a small bar, great for watching Packer games! Close to Wisconsin Dells, our favorite campground near the Dells. This campground has many large size, most are undertall pine trees. Sites near the fishing pond are particularly huge. Lots of fun activities, bakery, fish fry on Friday night - they will even deliver it to your site. Pool for little kids. Good gravel roads, safe for kids to bike on. Some seasonals, mostly in separate area. Can hear highway at night only very faintly - not enough to be a problem. We camped at Yukon Trails Camping in a camper.Undo
