We just stayed here overnight on our way up to Bayfield. The person in the office was very accommodating in telling us how to enter so we could maneuver our big rig into a very wooded campground and space. We had a pull through spot but my husband felt he had to unhook since we couldn't get in straight. Also, luckily the site across from us moved their truck and boat before we had to leave or it would have taken multiple back and forth movements to get out of our site. As it was, we couldn't hook up in the park without blocking the exit, so we went down the road to the park and hooked up there. This is a beautifully wooded park with a lovely swimming beach, a dog park and a dog swimming area. We got the best space possible for our rig and appreciated the staff being so helpful. There are some spaces up front that seem better for a big rig but seem to be seasonal spots. We were glad that we had a space to stay for the night but don't know if we'd stay here again due to the size of our rig. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

This CG could be our new favorite. It's pretty, clean, quiet and friendly. Only a couple miles outside of Minocqua and all the shopping, restaurants and groceries there. They have a nice swimming beach on a quiet lake with good fishing. What else do you need? Plus many roads are paved too and full hook ups. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is exactly what you would expect of the north woods region of Wisconsin. Lots of pine trees and a very pretty lake easily accessible to all sites. Our site was a back in but they moved some things to help us maneuver our 43 foot 5th wheel in to make it a pull thru. The lake has a sand beach and we rented a row boat to fish on this picturesque lake. The fee for the boat was only $3 per day and included life vests, oars and an anchor - a good deal. The roads in the park were rather tight but we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Eat at nearby Paul Bunyan's Cook Shanty. It's a rustic-themed restaurant serving meals family style. They have a very nice bakery and gift store.

We made a reservation for memorial day (3 nights) and were advised by the owners that they were pet friendly. We have 2 7month old German Shepherds. They are still in the puppy stage and just learned how to bark. When people would come by at first they would bark and as soon as someone came close to pet them they would get quite and lick them. The Owner came to our site and told us we needed to get them away from the road because he had been watching all day and someone is going to get bit. We had several women come by with their children and stop and never once were our dogs aggressive. yes they barked and we are in training on getting them acclimated to the camping routine. The owner was a total jerk and make us feel unwelcomed. We packed up and left so we wasted 2 nights of fees and will never go back. Such a shame because we were really looking forward to this weekend. If you are looking for grump host sight this place if for you. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR GO BACK. THEY SUCK! We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed here because they got the best reviews in Minocqua. Price reflects one free night with Passport America. campgrounds was very clean, our site was sand, but we used our carpet. Hard to maneuver but once in the site was shady and roomy with beautiful pine trees. Lots of seasonals and they seemed to cater to them. High price for bad firewood. the fire pits were in ground with no air holes so fire did not burn the best. Charge for WIFI, charge for showers, lots of charges. Next time we will probably look someplace else. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Late in the season so no reservations but no difficulty getting a pull-thru site. It is a large campground with lots of trees that make it kind of hard to get around some places. It had a lot of seasonal people. It was nice to have full hook-ups. Located on a lake and close to Minoqua and all the shopping and eating available there. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Paul Bunyan's restaurant is close and has expensive breakfast but really good donuts. It is a scenic place that our kids loved when they were young.

This wooded campground sits on a quaint small lake. Our site was waterfront, but we had to navigate down a steep hill to access it. This also meant the bathrooms will up the same hill. Many seasonal, full-time residents. They are located on the top of the hill where the full hookups are located. Our site had electric, water, and cable TV. Price seems a bit high for no sewer hookup. Plus the showers were 50 cents for 4 minutes (not excessive, but seemed strange at a private campground). There was WiFi available at the office only. So many trees that hubby did not attempt satellite TV hookup--thank goodness for the cable TV. Also, not a blade of grass at our campsite, so we spread the rug out. It rained overnight, and tons of dirt clung to the back of our rug. We were able to brush some of it off, but still took way too much dirt with us. No other big complaints about the campground, but I would probably look for a different place if I returned to the area. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Ask to see your campsite before setting up. Lakefront sites are picturesque, but dirty. Also hard to access down a steep hill. I would opt for a less scenic, grassy site near the entrance if I returned.

Very clean campground. Main roads are paved, sites are gravel, clean restrooms but pay showers, really not an issue if you are in a trailer or motorhome because all sites have sewer hook ups. The majority of the sites are seasonal with approximately 30 overnight sites without only two or three pull-through sites. There is a swimming beach, a dedicated dog beach and a fenced dog run. Campground is two miles from the center of town, with a Walmart and a local grocery store close by. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Older campground with lots of trees and lakefront. Sites well spaced but tight for bigger rigs or with a towed. Restroom/shower building small and old. Clean but needs updating. Excellent off leash dog park. Weak WiFi and no 4G Verizon coverage. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

A little difficult to get a big rig in here but we had a back-in site. There are pull through sites available. Older park, heavily wooded, not much grass, mostly sand. Nice small lake with beach. The majority of the sites here are seasonal folks and we definitely had the feeling we were intruding on their park. First time we have been at a park where no one said hello. Owner seemed nice but not flexible in allowing our membership discount. We decided not to stay the extra night although there are nice things to do in the area. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed for 3 nights. Had a pull through site with full hook ups which worked well for our 45' motorhome. The on site owners are great and have a passion for customer service, cleanliness and organization. Approximately two thirds of the sites are seasonal with the remaining overnight. Everyone was very friendly and the entire campground was quiet and peaceful. Wooded campsites limit satellite use. However, they had the best cable TV connection and channel selection that we have ever experienced at a campground. Almost as good as if we had a satellite connection. Well stocked fairly priced camp store. Will return in the future. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

This place was so clean! Very well manicured grounds. Rented small boat and went fishing for the afternoon, caught some small pan fish. Pretty lake: saw a deer, loons and a crane. Wish we had stayed more than one night, next time for sure! Staff lady is very nice. Campground checkin was easy and the campground store is well stocked. Bought a water hose at a reasonale price: no huge markups! We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 5 days. Great rustic wooded campground. Very friendly and helpful staff. There are seasonal sites, but all are kept up nicely. There is a Walmart down the street. I would stay here again. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Site was a bit tight, water was 40' away. Sand at the site and park tends to get everywhere. Price is high for the area even with the GS discount. If you come here use the GPS coordinates because if you use the address it takes you to the wrong side of the lake. If you hit Hower, Pinemere, and Clark keep going on Hower and you should be able to find it. Looks like a good place for families. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Of wifi verizon mifi worked better good cable selection. We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Motorhome.
