Owners on site every day and super friendly, great shade, on-site grill with good grub, huge selection of snacks/rv supplies/live bait, easy 1 mile walk/bike to town,wi-fi solid, pool smaller for campground size, but clean, plenty of chairs, ton of activities for kids, huge game room with a/c. One of the best we have seen in 4 mo. of full-timing…huge game room. We camped at Buffalo Lake Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

If you like to camp under high-canopied trees in a well-maintained RV park, this is the place for you. Although some interior roads are on the narrow side, we navigated in a 40 foot motorhome without problem. Very friendly staff made us feel welcome. Park is close enough to Wisconsin Dells to make a day trip, but far enough away to avoid crowds. Montello is a very enjoyable, small town: so no need to drive to the Dells! We camped at Buffalo Lake Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Pleasant campground with tight but maneuverable interior roads. We couldn't level in the first pull-through site we were assigned without lifting the rear wheels off the ground. Our second site worked out fine. Nicely wooded with nice grassy areas. Wi-Fi and cable TV were good. We camped at Buffalo Lake Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

The pull-thru site was nice. The only problem we saw with our site was tree location when pulling straight out, you wouldn't have been able to make the turn, but we were able to back straight up and go down a different road. Unfortunately it rained that weekend, so we didn't do a whole lot, but on a positive note the soil was sandy, so we didn't have any puddles of water or mud. Would camp here again. We camped at Buffalo Lake Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We picked this campground because of the pool and boat launch. The pool is great even though some of the young children using it need more supervision for safety reasons. The boat launch is 3.5 miles down the road but they do have small docks you can use closer to the campground. The other reason for the low rating is the small sites, dirt sites and roads leave everything very dirty, and this is the noisiest campground we have ever stayed in. I am not sure if the noise was coming from the campground or a nearby neighbor because it was too late to go out and investigate. Also some of the clientele is undesirable because of poor language and again not supervising children. We camped at Buffalo Lake Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
