Great for families, LOTS of stuff to do for kids and families of all ages. The sites we stayed in were good sized with lots of room between sites (for a place like this). The site we had was clean, level and well maintained. The hookups were WAY in the back. Had to run about 30 feet of sewer hose, and my water and electrical was stretched to the limit. So be aware of that. Not all sites were that way, but many were. Camp Store was well stocked/staffed. Roads are pretty tight with cars/trucks spilling out onto the roads and the trees REALLY need some trimming. branches and leaves were hitting my windshield as we came/went. VERY low branches everywhere. We have a 35 foot class-A and I wouldn't go any larger than that. Roads are REALLY tight, and not marked 1-way, so things get REALLY dicey fast. This is a family place with live bands and lots of activities. Kids screaming all day long. We heard parties and loud (adult) talking until 2am. Organized events seem to calm down by 10 or 11pm. So if you don't have kids or aren't into live music for 10 straight hours this probably isn't the place for you. This is not a quiet, relaxed get-a-way. This is a fun, loud, weekend long party, for kids and adults. LOTS of golfcarts...everywhere. Everything was on the up-and-up, nothing inappropriate going on or people being obnoxious, it's just a packed, loud, active place. Some people like this. Not really our thing. Probably wouldn't be our first choice in the area, but if we had to stay here again, it wouldn't bother us. We camped at Pride of America Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

This is an extremely well cared for facility. Grounds were kept incredibly clean and showed a real attention to detail.

Plenty of activities for everyone. The beach area was clean and well maintained. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. This is exactly what one would expect from a welcoming mid-west campground. We camped at Pride of America Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The park is nice and offers a lot of amenities for families, however, it was not very family friendly--unless you are the drinking type. Don't get me wrong, we will have a beer or 2 sitting around the fire at night, but the park sponsored activities related to drinking while we were there. A poker run at 1pm that could've matched any college activity. It was very loud and busy all weekend. We did stay Fri-Sun and left on a Monday. It was nice and quiet Sunday night (which is the only reason I'm not rating it lower). There are activities for the kids, but we left the park to get away from the drunken booze fest and took the kids to the Dells during the day on Sat/Sunday. We will not return. We stayed at this campground in August of 2014 and had a blast! So much so, that we are returning in a couple of weeks. I went with my husband and 3 children and they had everything we needed. A beach, pool, playground, jumping pillow, rec hall, bar and grill, etc. We stayed Sunday-Friday so it wasn't very busy, we got to take our pick of which site we wanted which was great. The pool was nice and well kept and a there was a separate area that had a spray ground which is safe for younger children to play on. The grill was of decent price with good food, and the bar had a nice variety of beverages for the adults. I can not speak for the weekends, but it was definitely quiet during the week. The staff was friendly and I like the little store they had in case we needed something we forgot to bring from home. The only complaint I have is you have to pay to take a shower, I think it was around 75 cents for 5 minutes. So bring quarters! I would definitely recommend this place for family! For those who say you cannot get a 'big rig' into this resort, they are wrong. We own a 45' class A diesel pusher and had not problems whatsoever. There ARE a few small branches going down into the 800's that can brush across your rig when crossing the bridge, but if you know how to maneuver a big rig properly, you should have no problem getting around at all. That being said, the campground is a very lively, fun place with a lot to do for adults as well as children. For those that don't like this fun, outgoing atmosphere, this isn't for you. But, if you like meeting new people and having fun, this is the place! We camped at Pride of America Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We try and camp here at least twice per year. They have it all, fun activities each weekend, a full service bar and grill that has a large selection. Sites are large we are 40 ft, and have never had a problem. I am looking out my window and seeing many Class A motor homes. The only tight turn areas that we have encountered is if you get the VIP sites (which I wouldn't do...too close to entrance, store, bar/grill, pool). Area is well kept. Tons of kids activities. Will be back next month! We camped at Pride of America Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a great place if you're 10 and camp in a popup or travel trailer. Big rig access?? I don't think so. Unless you like having your rig scraped by low hanging canopy (no maintenance), VERY tight uphill turns (with conveniently placed trees and cutesy lawn decorations by the enumerable multi-season residents, etc.). This is a park where cheap travel trailers go to die. They have been up on blocks so long that they will never roll again. The "decor" here is cheap, cheap, cheap. If you can throw up a wooden structure that wouldn't be allowed anywhere else in the US and call it a "porch", then here it is! We will never camp here again and neither should you. This is a great resort campground if you like that sort of thing. The operators and staff are always visible and on the job. We have stayed at this campground for the last two Spring seasons. There are a lot of seasonal campers here, and yes, a lot of permanent structures. I've found most of these people to be very friendly and good-hearted. Every weekend, there are sponsored activities. Free, staff directed craft projects for the kids, candy bar bingo and adult bingo top the list. This is not a place to go and isolate yourself, it's a place to socialize. It's noisy and festive, but the people are generally respectful about it. This is one of my favorite campgrounds. We camped at Pride of America Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Again, one of our favorite places. Lots of fun for the kids and fun for adults. Saturdays can get a little rowdy but everyone does a good job of keeping to quiet times. The pools is very nice and the grounds are kept up well. The kids loved the new jumping pillow. My only complaint is the lake is weedy and mucky. That needs to be cleaned up, but the sand is nice! Clean park, friendly staff. Lots of permanent sites and seasonals. Everyone (seasonals) was very friendly. Lots of activities to do. The weekend we were here had tie-dye shirts for kids and a teen dance. They have great theme weekends. Would definitely come again. Food in bar/restaurant was very good and a good price. Well first and foremost, this is not a kid friendly campground. I was here the weekend of a poker run, and promoting drinking at noon doesn't scream family fun to me. The owner is a complete drunk so stay away from the guy in the bar with all his "security guards." The campground is nice if your looking to drink, get drunk and have fun. By all means this is your place. Golf carts can run at all hours of night. Probably not a place I would take children to. We camped at Pride of America Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Destination campground with lots of activities. Nice lake area and pool. Lots of kids, but they weren't unruly or overly noisy. Neither kids nor adults understood they shouldn't walk across another's site. No cable TV, but I got several stations with converter box. WiFi worked well, but it was $7 for 6 days. Another thing I didn't like was that you had to pay for the shower: 25 cents for every 3 minutes. There's a restaurant and bar. We camped at Pride of America Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Price depicts CampClubUSA discount. The registration process was easy. My husband chose the site he wanted to set the big rig. Even after he changed his mind, it was no problem with them. The vast majority of the sites are seasonal trailers. This really is a destination location, with lots of kids activities and amenities for the guests. There is a lovely sand beach on a lake, with rental opportunities for paddle boats and golf carts. The store is well stocked. We were here on a Sunday and Monday, with the weekend crowd gone so was rather quiet. I would think weekends would be noisy and very populated. Location is about 30 minutes from the Wisconsin Dells. In my opinion, it's not worth the full price if you don't plan to utilize the beach, pool, store and restaurant. We camped at Pride of America Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We were extemely disappointed with this campground. No problem getting registered but found site to be all sand and dirt. Absolutely no grass so kids were filthy all weekend. Pool was far too small for amount of people. Ok beach area, but again was overcrowded. Lots of activities but that meant kids running all over the place and golf carts whizzing by all day and evening long. We were placed directly across from skatepark/playground. Another big mistake- was far too loud and always had kids (and adults even) walking right through the middle of our campsite. We had no quiet and no privacy. Majority of campground was seasonal with every type of add-on possible to them. Some nice but most not very nice looking. We actually ended up leaving early because we were so unhappy. I would definitely NOT stay here again. We camped at Pride of America Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
