Campground is mostly seasonal. Not too many spots for travelers. Only one that would fit us. Very close to our neighbor. Grass with table and fire ring. No other amenities but playground. No Sewer at all. Very off the beaten path. Wouldn't return. We camped at White Tail Ridge Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $22.00
This campground is new in 2006, and still needs to work out some issues. GOOD THINGS: Great shady sites, beautiful location; sites are pretty private, with lots of trees/shrubs between sites. Very natural--not groomed and manicured to death. Everybody here uses ATVs on the trails, which are very close by. Great natural place to use as base for exploring the area or going on the ATV. NOT SO GOOD: there was no map (they had run out of copies); site was not level, so it took a lot to level our rig; check in was in the bar and poorly marked; no clue where to put trash; seems to be mostly seasonal; few rules so there was one very loud and long night (out of 3 nights there); very few amenities. We camped at White Tail Ridge Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.
