Have been camping here for 3 years now, absolutely love it! The glow rides, the water park our daughter loves! Staff is friendly and helpful, sites are big enough (we camp in the pull-throughs). Look forward to spring so we start camping here again!! Highly recommended! We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Would have given this park a 10 except that sewer is NOT available at each site! Also, they need to have better trained staff at the reservation desk. Did not know how to handle an RPI reservation.
This is a very well maintained park. Very clean and tidy and the sites are very spacious. It also has LOTS of amenities including a huge water park. You are given armbands for free use of all amenities. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $23.00
Rate is RPI discount except not good on weekends, when it is $57. Worst thing is no sewer but did have pump out service (although it was broken when I needed it) and 3 dump stations. Although it is possible to get in with a big rig they should have some one way roads as people had to pull over so that I could get through. Roads are gravel and not well maintained, i.e., pot holes. Satellite from the roof came in as I was in open field area otherwise most sites and in the woods. Table and fire pits. Utilities worked. Appears to be no policing of activities at night and fires burned well in to night filling motorhome with smoke and with lots of noise on weekends. Great place for kids with water slide, pond and many activities. Verizon cell came in OK but MiFi for Internet had no reception. Ingress and egress by the office is very congested with children renting bikes - very dangerous with a big rig. Would not stay here again. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $28.00
The young man who checked us in knew nothing about the park: directions, features. Shower water was off some times. There was no Wi-Fi except at the laundry. Some sites are heavily wooded, claustrophobic. The meadow sites were spacious and level. We stayed for four nights. We will look for another park if we return to the area. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $23.00
This is a very nice clean RV park. The camp store was well stocked, and our site was level. We had requested and were placed in the north end of the campground which is in the open area (for satellite reception). Interior roads are gravel and well maintained but a bit dusty. The sewer dump was remote and easy to use as they provided the sewer hose which facilitated dumping. This is a busy park summer and fall and we were there in October, the weekend before closing and it was packed. Nice long trails and large area to walk the dog. The waterpark was not open in October, but it looked very nice and is part of the campground fee. Our $22.50 fee reflects Passport America membership. We will certainly camp here again. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $23.00
This is a nice, clean, well maintained park. It is located between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. It has private sites, owners sites, seasonal sites, and about 50 sites available to the general public. We paid the Passport America rate. Roads are narrow, dirt and winding. Some sites are heavily wooded, while others are in the open with fewer trees. Our site was in the open area. It was spacious, level and had lots of grass. Satellites work in this area. Sites have 50 amp electricity and water (no sewer). Sites in this area are big rig friendly and the narrow roads can be navigated by being careful. Our AT&T telephone worked fine, but our Verizon aircard had a very weak signal and barely worked. They had Wi-fi, but it only worked near the office. The park wasn't full on weekdays, but filled up with families on weekends. There are lots of activities for kids including a waterpark and also an adult only pool. When the park is full, there is a lot of dust from the roads, and smoke from the campfires. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.
This park is in Door County, WI which is a noted vacation area above Green Bay, WI with water sports, fishing, wineries, restaurants, theater groups and hiking nearby. Half the sites are in heavily wooded areas while half are in a lightly treed area with good access for satellites. Telephone and air card connections are marginal. The resort includes a huge water park with two slides and a 6,000 sf pool. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to longer stays. We stayed on an RPI membership which limits us to one week at this price. We camped at Harbour Village Resort in a Motorhome.
