2 Parks near Washburn, Wisconsin
Aug 2015 - $25.00
Beautiful park in a beautiful setting. Lots of shade with spacious campsites. Electric hookup only. Arrive with your water tank full. Not easy to find water to fill up at the park. Short walk to downtown. Located right along Lake Superior, a few sites actually overlook the lake. This is a good place to spend a day or two. Excellent Verizon and AT&T phone and data service. - Charles3
Jun 2015 - $25.00
Small City park. Electric only $25/night. We carry 30 ft of water hose and had to borrow more hose to fill tank when we left. Only 2 spigots available and they are well off the road. Some sites very difficult to maneuver into. Showers were mostly clean but not great. - ebaldy
Aug 2012 - $22.00
We got a great site nestled tightly in the trees! There are two sites requiring some maneuvering to park, both with views of wonderful Lake Superior. Our site needed a bit of leveling, as we pulled quite a way back into the site. We backed in to have a waterfront site where the bank drops off about 30 feet to the water, and we had lots of room to place chairs and watch the occasional sailboat. We camped during the week, and all was very quiet. The site we chose had electricity and unbelievable to me - cable TV. Water is nearby in the campground. The roads and sites are well packed gravel. We will be back. - AluminumCloud
Sep 2015 - $25.00
This is a nice park first come first serve. We got a site near the lake and beach. Has great view of the lake and so pretty with all grass except the paved roads and gravel pads which handle our big rig and toad. We hauled in our own water but they do have access to fill your tank and an artesian well that all the locals use to obtain drinking water. No sewer for a week is no problem if you have large holding tanks. - signaloil

This campground is a great hidden treasure. Campsites are large. We easily fit our truck, 5th wheel & jeep in our site. Other than small pads for camper, the campground is total grass.
Each site has a picnic table. 30 & 50 amps available. Sites are electric only-no water or sewer at campsites. There is a dump station at the entrance of the campground. There are 2 water faucets to fill fresh water tank before pulling into site. We found the water faucets hard to get to, but not impossible. Lack of water and sewer would definitely NOT prevent us from coming back. Campground is directly on the Lake Superior. Asphalt roads through the campground. Some of the corners are tight, however we easily managed to get our Big Rig into a site. Suggest disconnecting toad vehicle and "scouting" sites & campground layout before taking RV in.
There is a nice playground. There are picnic tables throughout the park. A large pavilion is available for an organized event/gathering. There is a boat dock, however, it needs some work-it appears to be unstable. Nice little beach (wish it were larger). There are a couple of places to get directly into Lake Superior from the campground.
In addition to the regular campground, they have an overflow area. There are no hookups in the overflow, but it is nice to have that option.
We were nervous about being able to get a site--they do not accept reservations. We came in mid-week & were able to get a great site. Campground is consistently full, so suggest not coming in on a Friday.
Good Verizon coverage. Easy to get DirecTV satellite. Very strong Wi-Fi.
We look forward to coming back! We loved the small town feeling, hope they don't change a thing. - GLPColorado
Jul 2015 - $25.00
We really enjoyed our stay here, well spaced out sites, some with shade. We had a lovely view of the bay and found it to be very quiet and peaceful. Self pay box with brochures and information about the area. - housecar
