This state campground is very convenient to the interstate, to the Dells and to Baraboo. The entrance is paved as are the roads to the campsites. The campsite was gravel and all but one appeared to be fairly level. The electricity was stable. Most of the time, the showers were clean. The negative is that the shower water only stays on for a few seconds and was either cold or hot with no in between. There is some noise from the interstate, but that is to be expected when choosing a campground that is so convenient. We were in site 60E. This campground was very clean. If we are in the area again, we would stay in this campground again. We camped at Rocky Arbor State Park in a Motorhome.
This campground is very close to the highway so it is noisy when you are outside of the RV. Tenters will not like this campground if they want quiet. It is 3 minutes to the "strip" in Wisconsin Dells, so a great place to be for the nights. Mosquitoes are the size of small eagles and the population is very thick day and night. The facilities and the park are well kept. There is a 8 degree grade hill to get from the lower level up to the RV park. Our large fifth wheel was a challenge to get in but it was OK. If you are comfortable with your rig you can get it in, but probably only can fit in a site or two. Cell coverage for Sprint and AT&T was non-existent. We camped at Rocky Arbor State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
