All gravel park. Level in the row nearest the road, the other row wasn't bad, but our coach front was lower than the back. Very easy access and in and out. Bathrooms were clean with maps of the Oregon, Mormon, California trails as the pony express as well. Water pressure was good. Wireless was good. Nice owners, very accommodating to our requests. Dog run was very small, dirt only. A little too small for such a large park but, with all the gravel, our dog just went anywhere she wanted. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

Trees are scattered throughout most of the Campground which is fully covered with gravel. It is clean and my site was large with plenty of room to maneuver. Good WiFi. Good Verizon signal. Friendly and helpful owner/manager. Laundry and individual private restrooms were clean and pleasant places. Easy access from I-25. There was some vehicle noise from the nightclub across the street on Saturday night. We camped at Casper KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here during Eclipse August 2017. The owners charged very reasonable rates during Eclipse weekend $100 per night. Motels were charging $2300. The campground was clean gravel and level with some shade trees. The dog park was just a small fenced dirt lot, but you can walk a block away to a dog friendly park with perfect manicured grass. The wifi was very spotty. Att wireless was great. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

It's another gravel parking lot with hookups, but it works for me. Easy in/out, interior roads nice and wide, and spaces were wide enough and level. Not much shade in the park, though there are a few sites that have some. Usual KOA amenities and high price. Very nice people, helpful too. Everything was clean and well-maintained. It may not look like much, but you won't go wrong staying here. Follow their directions to get in; our GPS would have steered us wrong if not for a road closure. Verizon cell and internet worked here. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

Stayed here two nights while passing through Casper. Good place to stop. All gravel but easy in and out. ENTRANCE IS ON SUNSET BLVD. My GPS took us to Prairie Ln and you can't usually enter the park from there. Once we broke the code on that it was an easy on and off I25. Very clean, quiet...good stop. Bar Nunn is built on an old airport. It's worth the walk over to the Hangar which is right across the street. Aviation motif with full bar and food. Good Verizon, wifi was ok. Beautiful Indoor pool. We will stay here on our next pass through. Took a drive to the other two parks and would definitely use this one. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we would definitely come back again. Considering the entire campground is gravel, it is surprisingly nice. Very clean, with a small shade tree at each site, there is a covered swimming pool & a nice laundry facility. The office staff was friendly. The hookups were fine, although you will need a long sewer hose as the connection is quite a bit forward from the water and electric. This is located outside of Casper so it is a drive for goods & services. Check out The Hanger restaurant behind the park. Fun decor & a great breakfast. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

The park is located to the north of Casper. We found it easy into any part of town and liked being out away from the town. The park is mostly gravel with trees. The gravel is thick and is not dusty or muddy in the rain. The sites are spacious between. Easy to pull in to the sites. each site has a table that has landscape timbers to define the location. We thought it was a very clean well kept park and would stay again. We camped at Casper KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Very slow check-in. Gravel, very few trees unless you are staying on the side with the big fancy rigs. Tent area is right next to a major road with traffic noise late into the night! Do not stay if you are in a tent or tent trailer. We camped at Casper KOA in a Tent Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This campground is very well-run. It is clean and everything works. The sites are gravel, long enough to park our fifth-wheel trailer and truck with room to spare. Some have a tree for a bit of shade; ours did not. There aren't a lot of channels but there are enough and they are free over-the-air. The wifi worked well as did Verizon cell service. There is an indoor pool which was delightful.

Casper is a big enough town to have plenty of shopping, restaurants, and other businesses. The nightly rate for this campground is a little high given the location (it's not near any of the national parks, for example) but we felt we got our money's worth. We camped at Casper KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Well kept RV park just outside Casper. This park is actually located in Bar Nunn right next to Casper. Friendly staff, good utilities, dog run, and so on. Gravel sites. Gravel is important in this park of WY as there is lots of wind. So unlike our previous park there was very little dust blowing around. We got a strong Verizon signal here. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a no frills KOA. Very plain looking, all gravel, a few scattered trees- really looks like a parking lot. Could not get satellite on our site. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. They did offer us to try and find another site, but we were already hooked up before we realized we couldn't get satellite and we were only staying 3 nights. Park is in a very industrial part of town which adds to its lackluster impression. WiFi was typical KOA- fails alot. No cable, but we were able to get some digital channels. This park is north of Casper, and there is alot of construction going on. It wasn't too bad getting around. Again, I must say, the staff were wonderful! Laundry room had 4 washers and 4 dryers. Easy access and laundry room is open 24 hours..Nice views of mountains from behind the RV- we faced a stockade fence that housed a bar and grill and some industries. Someone should have turned the park around to encompass the beautiful views! We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We golfed at Casper Municipal Golf Course. Beautiful scenery, 27 holes. I highly recommend the Links Course! Gorgeous views, some elevations that are breathtaking! Also, we took a ride to Alcova Lake - breathtaking lake nestled in the mountains. Restaurant at the Marina was a nice stop.

Park and all sites gravel and level. Lots of gravel, but this is an area where grass is not going to grow without a lot of tender loving care and tons of water. Park personnel were friendly and courteous. Restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. You should not be bothered by the freeway noise as it is far enough away as not to be a problem for anyone with normal hearing. Our site was long enough for our 37 ft travel trailer and our F250 crew cab TV and there was about the normal amount of room between the sites. Scattered small trees but not enough shade provided to be useful. The wind can be strong in this area and was constantly over 30mph during our 3 night stay. Far from resort quality, but functional and well maintained. Like many KOA parks, the rates are on the high side for what is provided. We camped at Casper KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This park is supposed to be the best in the area. It is VERY windy. We could bring up our antenna or dish only in the morning or evening when the winds died down. You can pick up local stations for the most part without an antenna because you are close to the transmitters. We had our one slide in most of the time, too. Forget about putting out an awning. The park is all gravel. They say they are dog friendly but I would say they allow dogs. That is all. There is no grass except for a woebegone patch up by the office. No dogs allowed. There is a dog park area. It has some greenery. I wouldn't call it grass. It also is full of stickers at times. So if you have a dog & it won't go on dirt or gravel forget it. There is a beautiful city park like area right outside the campground with a lovely lawn but again no dogs allowed. The management was very friendly but the office was only open between 4 pm & 8 pm. The sites were level. The hookups were in the right place. Site two has some trees but you have trouble getting satellite signal in it. The park is open year round & it is close to Casper which has lots of restaurants & shopping. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

A little hard to access sites, but level gravel roads and sights. KOA has not improved their facilities in the past ten years, but pricing continues to climb. They are reaching a tipping point where there is not enough value for the money. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.
