Our new routing continues: we stay at the other in town RV park heading west and here heading east 6 or 7 weeks later. See my 8/16 review for a better description of the park. We again had a FHU, pull through site with minimal cable TV. We were lucky to get a site that was satellite friendly. Many sites have trees that can obscure any reception. The bath facilities (one by the office and another at the other end of the park) were clean. We enjoyed the a small pool. They also have playground equipment. It is nice to see another park with a variety of recycling. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice KOA CG. We had a Deluxe Patio Site with a large yard area. The facilities worked well and the park is very well maintained. We will definitely return. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Motorhome.

Easy to find with well marked entrance. Good space to park while checking in, escorted to space. Hung over my spot front and back but not too bad, so stayed there. Only used electric and it worked fine. Office person was very nice and helpful. Fueling stations with easy access on the road out to I-90. Campground expensive and very tight quarters, but handy if needed. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Travel Trailer.

A pretty typical KOA. Gravel access roads were a lane and a half. Gravel sites with somewhat struggling grass between the sites. A fair amount of shade from all the trees. Power ok even under load, did not use other utilities. Campground wifi good signal with adequate speed. Verizon 5 bars, very good speed. No TMobile service. Satellite access is very site dependent unless using a portable antenna. Full recycle (sorted) on site, possible road bike riding on highway outside campground. We would overnight here again, perhaps staying a few days. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Motorhome.

We have found all KOAs to be overpriced and this park is no exception. Aside from that, this park is nicer than many KOAs. We had a large pull-through with a large lawn area between sites. Roads and pads were gravel. Hook-ups were fine. Cable TV channels were limited. There was a bubbling stream which our dog enjoyed. There was a smallish dirt dog park. There were several other RV parks nearby which looked great at much lower prices so we would not return here should we be in a Buffalo again. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Motorhome.

Very nice park and would gladly stay again. Staff nice and efficient and guided us to our site. Easy maneuvering through the park. Dog-friendly with off-leash dog area and doggy bags available if you forgot to bring your own. Interior roads and sites are the tidiest gravel I've seen with wide grassy areas for picnic tables between wide sites. The sites aren't exceptionally long, so we had to disconnect and park across the front of our site. The sites were level. Four deluxe sites have cement pads, outdoor table/chairs, fire pits, BBQ (the 50/30amp sites # 50 and 38 are preferred to the 30amp sites # 33 and 44. They are longer and have more private space.) They even have a private, fenced hot tub site which is absolutely huge. We were directly across from the garbage in site 44 on a hot Sunday but there was no smell. Wifi was good early but slow as the park filled. Verizon service was marginal; about 20 cable channels. The park was grassy, shady and very clean and the store/office had a variety of RV items and sundries available. Love this park! We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy check in. Nice KOA. Roads gravel but plenty of room to get around. Escorted to site. Had long pull thru with nice grassy area. Great dog park. KOA is next to stream. Will stay here again Could use a little more gravel on the roads and sites. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Motorhome.

Friendly helpful staff. Main toilets and showers in office building with 6 separate nice showers. Another bath/shower building in further part of campground. Dump and propane in front. Large chain link dog run. Fast running river at back of property. Campground roads mostly dirt with a little gravel. Sites well graveled. Sites 1 through 16 back-ins but with water electricity and cable plug-in inconveniently way in the front by the road. With a 25 foot cable I was still 15 feet shy of reaching the cable plug-in, so time for book reading. Did get WY national public radio. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Motorhome.

Very, very nice little KOA. About 2-3 minutes off the interstate, so close but no road noise. Sites are nice sized with decent spacing between them. Property was VERY clean and well maintained and the staff were super sweet. Truly a very nice stop. Would definitely stay here again. This one is a KOA gem. Gave it 9 out of 10 because $42 (with tax, but after KOA discount) is a bit pricey for the site we chose (30 amp w/e only)...but, then again, it was such a nice little park that I'd rather pay a few dollars more for a quality stay. We camped in a 40' fifth wheel and did not unhitch. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here as a stopover spot and was very happy with our choice. Check in was very easy and the staff was super friendly! The grounds was very nicely maintained and clean. The only pull through they had left was a patio site which we took. It had a nice concrete patio with a glider, patio table & chairs, a gas grill and fire ring. They have a nice creek running along the backside of the grounds and was really nice to sit in the wood swing enjoying the view after a long day on the road! Would stay here again. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Motorhome.

Great staff! Most places weren't open yet and there was snow on the ground but they were open and had bladed the roads and spaces. They helped us fill our water tank on the way in since it was too early for there to be water available at the sites. Price was competitive with other parks in the area which surprised me. They also warned us about weather moving in and recommended when we should consider traveling west. All around a great experience with caring people and good facilities. Wifi worked great. We would stay here again when in the area. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park in the trees. The roads are gravel as are the sites. There are trees and grass between the sites. The sites are normal width. It is easy to maneuver a big rig in the park. The park looks top be well maintained and the staff is helpful and friendly. All the services seem to be fine. The electric and water are near the front of the space. not a problem for us. We would return when in the area. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
