Nice campground with a good trail and wildlife (great horned owls and deer). We stayed in a site with no shade (our request) but most sites had some or a lot of shade. Site surface was gravel and featured a fire ring and picnic table. Next time we visit this area we'll stay a little longer. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Excellent facility located within a grove of fairly large trees. Spacious sites. Good WiFi. This is a very pleasant and tranquil park; it would have been good for several days. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

The first night that we stayed at Deer Park while traveling, it was ok. The site was nice enough. On our return trip, we made a reservation but when we arrived, we were told that a group had taken most of the campground sites and we were put in a "parking lot" site, where we had to leave our shades down or we would be looking directly into the windows of the neighbors on both sides. We didn't use our picnic table, again because we were sandwiched in and the other camper was 2-3 feet from the table, but also because their sewer hose was literally up against our table! Disgusting. I complained to the owner that we were paying the same price as the other RV's that had the nicer spots. He didn't care less, didn't apologize, or do anything to make it right. He was rude and condescending and said "that's your opinion" when I complained about the overpriced lot we were in. It was the worst and most overpriced accommodations we have ever spend money on. All this guy cares about is profit. I can't believe this is a Good Sam park. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in one of the pull-through sites, and it was level and all hookups worked with no problem. Wi-Fi was not usable for us but Verizon service was strong, so we used that. Although there were a lot of trees and shade, we were lucky enough to use our satellite antenna for TV but most reviewers seem to have a problem. The staff was very helpful and work hard to keep this park neat and usable. We would stay here again and would recommend this park to others. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you have the time, Buffalo is a very nice small town with a nice small historic district and worth the time and effort to visit. We had lunch at Pie Zanos (Italian) in the historic district and really enjoyed our meal. Crazy Woman Canyon drive was interesting if you have time.

This is a favorite of ours and have returned many times. The fee reflects the weekly rate. We love the history of Buffalo, the people are friendly, the park has a nice little pool and some wide open spaces. Often you can see wildlife in the park. Although they have a nice laundry at the park we often use the one in town as it has large capacity washers for comforters, sleeping bags etc. We are sure to return in the future. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

There is grocery availability in town, however a little higher prices than we like. There is also Walmart in Sheridan for volume and prescription needs. Be sure to go into the Occidental Hotel and Saloon. It's a great trip back in time.

We don't use the facilities in most places so my judgements are solely based on the ambience of the park and the quality of the amenities provided. Loved this park for the trees and natural feel, no trains or highway noise at all. Saw deer and bunnies. Nice walking path for people and pets. I don't care about gravel pads or concrete so long as sites are level enough. Wifi was great!... We were able to stream Netflix even without dropping or stalling at all.

Easy I-90 access, but far enough away to be quiet We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Stopped here for an overnight on the way to Yellowstone. Many people checking in/out everyday. Not much staging area for check-in. If there is a line, rigs will be blocking the interior road. Looks like an old KOA with the A-frame building. Friendly check-in and we were led to our spot. We had a long pull-through that accommodated our 40ft motorhome and toad. We did not disconnect. All sites have a lot of shade and a picnic table. Satellite reception is a problem because of the trees. Average spacing between sites. Level site good hook-up location. Sewer was at ground level. No traffic noise. Wifi was good at times, poor at other times. Easy access from I90. OTA television is two local PBS stations. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Site were satisfactory for our 55 foot truck and fifth wheel. Sites were close together. No dog park. Worked fine for our overnight stay. Has ice cream for $1.oo each evening, bring your own bowl. Lots of shade, but watch for low branches. Not exactly level, but wasn't too bad. I wouldn't say this was a destination park but works fine for overnight. We have stayed in this park before some years ago. It seems to be an old KOA park. The park is adequate for a night or two. The hookups in our site were adequate. The sewer hookup is rather misplaced and is a long way from where it should be. We could not get DirecTV through the trees but there is cable TV in the park. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here for a night or two again. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Big park. Shady. level site with good wifi, good water pressure, cable. We did not use sewer because it was so far from the other hookups. Just an overnight stay. Lady courteous on the phone, but when checking in there was a long line. As she checked each unit in, she would take them to their site before doing the next. SLOW! They say gravel roads and pads but mostly dirt and very dusty. A few loads of gravel would improve the place so much. Site was level. Not satellite view, but that was OK. Likely would not stay here again in dry weather. If you want a satellite site, ask for it. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

The park owners were friendly and very helpful. The spots are clean and well kept. Bathrooms and facilities were also clean and organized. Nice enough CG. Gravel roads and pads. Spaces are close, but level. There's a private gun range nearby, which was active the better part of the afternoon and evening. Just not pleasant. We probably wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.
