We stayed near the end of season so part of the CG was closed. We were given a full service site for the cost of electric and water only. Initially the park was roomy but as it filled up, it was very tight. I could hear the water pump and furnace of the RV next to us. There's a nice trail on the property for dog walking. Sites were level. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A very nice surprise as we pulled in for the first time. All the grounds looked very nice with green grass in between moderate width sites and very long sites in most locations, pull thru or back in. Nice tall whispery trees between the sites which do not pose any issues in pulling in or stopping. All gravel sites and most looked pretty level. Nice pool near the office and the office staff was superb and drove us to our site. Cable TV has many channels. Nice large walking grass path next to the park (which they maintain), and we saw 3 doe & 1 "3pt" buck near pathway. Now we know why they call it "Deer Park"! We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Exceptional park with clean common areas, nice pool, great laundry facility. All sites are level and large. Close to all sorts of outdoor activities. If only all other campgrounds in USA would follow Deer Parks lead. Overall a great experience. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Although there are some pull through sites, most sites appear to be back ins. I think all sites are FHU with cable TV and Wi-Fi. There is a pool, a playground, bathrooms, and a laundry. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here with our caravan group for 2 nights, we were traveling with 16 rigs. Each rig was escorted to their sites by the owners. The campground owners and workers were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The showers and rest rooms were clean. Some of our group had pull-thrus, pull-ins or back-ins. We were all close together. We had ample space to host gatherings by a few of our sites. We all enjoyed the nightly ice cream! The sites were gravel and grass. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

We agree with the prior 2018 reviews. I'm not sure what we paid, but it wa s worth it. Our Verizon phone worked good. The cable TV was outstanding as was their wifi. On second thought I am changing my rating to a 10 although I usually reserve that for waterfront sites! We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for two nights. Check in was super easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They directed us to our site and stayed to see if we needed anything else. Campground was clean and well maintained. Site was long enough for our motor coach and tow vehicle. Very nice campground. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed for 2 nights in July 2018. We paid $44.66/night less 10% Good Sam discount plus 7% tax = $43.01/night. We were trying to get in with just a few days notice. The website didn't show availability so we called and got lucky! And - we were lucky indeed. This is a lovely CG. It's easy on/off the highway. Check in was quick and efficient. Office staff and maintenance staff were very friendly and helpful. We were escorted to our pull-through site which had nice shade trees but still plenty of space for our big rig and toad. Hookups were conveniently positioned and worked perfectly. We couldn't get satellite in our site but I think it's luck of the draw depending on where your dish is mounted and where the trees happen to be. If our dish was forward instead of back, I think we would have gotten it. The entire property is clean and impeccably maintained. It's mostly hard packed dirt with some gravel on the interior roads and on the sites. There is grass in between sites. If sitting outside during the day, you can hear some highway noise but it's not bothersome. It quiets down nicely at night. There are no trains. The office has a small store with basic RV supplies, food items and ice ($2.00 for cubes or $2.50 for block). There is recycling available for plastic and aluminum. The pool was small but looked clean. There is an ice cream social each evening for $2. Bring your own bowl and spoon and make new friends. We enjoyed our short stay and would love to return and stay longer next time. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Buffalo is very cute. We enjoyed a nice meal at Busy Bee Cafe and checked out the historic Occidental Hotel (great photo display in the hallway). Definitely stop at the Visitor Information Center (on Hwy 16 between the RV park and I-90). It has a wonderful staff with a wealth of knowledge.

This is a great park! Lots of shade, swimming pool, good 50 amp service, good water pressure although I did think it smelled. The office told me it was well water, probably explaining the smell, perfectly level site, which was great! Cable TV, full hookup with all the hookups conveniently located. I used the laundry, $2.00 for washer and 25 cents for 7 minutes of dryer time. They advertise that they have an ice cream social nightly, but it is $2 for 2 scoops and we didn't go. The park was very quiet, no trains and no road noise, and it is conveniently located just a short distance off I-90. The park was nicely mowed, with grass between each site, and looked great. The beautiful Russian olive trees all around the park were also trimmed nicely so nothing scraped our RV. We liked this park very much. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We really enjoyed this little town. We ate dinner at a Mexican Restaurant on the Creek in downtown. The food was very good. Enjoyed the Longmire paraphernalia throughout the town. Would love to attend the Longmire festival. Cute shop with local arts & crafts. We even found a geocache or two here. Had a wonderful time!

This was more expensive than I usually pay but this was probably the best RV Park in town with FHUs. Good elect., water, sewer cable and wifi, fairly level backin shady site. We enjoyed watching deer and turkey every day in RV Park. The town was very unique. Longmire Headquarters if you watch Net flick. We were here 4 nights. We had planned to go to Cody and up the Beartooth Hwy but the snow closed the Hwy so we went east from here. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park would have gotten a higher rating if the lanes and sites had not been so muddy with the rain. We pull a 43 ft fifth wheel with an F350. Entry into the park was easy. Staff were very nice. Winter has hit WY early and we are here at the end of Sept with a lot of rain. This is a large grassy park with lots of big trees. Very pretty. Only problem is that it has been a long time since new gravel was put down so with rain, our site and the areas around us were big puddles and mud. Lanes within the park are easy to navigate a big rig. Sites are long with big grass area on both sides. Site includes a picnic table. Utilities worked well. AT&T Cell worked well. Verizon Broadband worked well. Cable TV was very nice. No problem using the Satellite. Deer and wild turkeys roam all over. There is no fenced dog park. So walking the dogs with deer and turkey poop all over - especially in the rain - was a challenge. Looked like a nice small pool area. Would like to return to this RV park for a much longer stay and earlier in the summer next time. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
