Nice clean park with friendly personnel. Lots of shade in the front. We chose the "satellite friendly" area in the back of the park. Our site was scarce of grass but most seem to have a reasonable amount. Streets are gravel. A couple of turns are tight to trees for a 45 footer but makeable. Quiet with good 50 amps. Good wi-fi. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nice town to spend a couple of days. Scenic drives, historic areas. IGA is very nice and well stocked.

Pros: tall shade trees, long drive thru sites, courteous management, close eating places.
Cons: close eating places (grease smells & traffic) hwy 16 noise, offramp &freeway immediately adjacent (truck noise [jake breaks].
Good place, just get a spot in row c or beyond and stay on west side of park. Trees block satellite service, Direct TV has no local service, only national channels, park has cable with local channels. Buffalo has many restaurants &
other attractions. The pros outweigh the cons by far. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Dash Inn (almost part of campground) has good food. Always a line is good eating. Walk across Hwy 16 good steak house. Ice Cream shop easy walking distance.

The campsites were all pull-through, level and shaded. Despite proximity to two major arteries, the night was quiet and peaceful. There were several long-term campers that were friendly and offered tips on local cuisine and attractions. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were only here overnight!

This is our second stay here during the last few years and it was as good as the first. Centrally located with eateries close-by. Easy on and off I-25 (not I-90) which is also close by. Very friendly owners who were more than willing to answer our questions about the area. Baths and laundry are spotless. As before, would seek out this place once again. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Shell Canyon and Tensleep Canyon too. Both great places with corresponding rivers, waterfalls and gorges.

We had such a good experience at this campground. The sites were level, wide with grass at the door. It had a picnic table and a fire pit if you wanted to build a fire. The cottonwood trees are wonderful and provided good shade on our trailer. The laundry and restroom were pristine. We really enjoyed our visit here. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We toured downtown Buffalo. Very cute. We toured several museums and drove up Big Horn Mountain. Spent 3 days just looking around enjoying the town.

This is our go to park in Buffalo. We stayed one weekday night in early July and, as usual, had a level, gravel, FHU, pull-through site with cable TV. This park resolved the change to digital requiring a new cable box problem by getting their own satellite TV and feeding to the individual sites. Their new system only has about 20 channels. Except for half a dozen newer sites in the back of the park, very few sites are satellite friendly. We had one minor issue when we pulled into our assigned site. It is a problem I have run into occasionally and don't know why parks do this: our assigned site had just been over water causing the leftside of the parking area to be muddy and unavoidable while setting up. If mother nature wants to muddy a site, fine, but the park should not be doing it and then forcing the customer a muddy inconvenience. Everything else was fine. We enjoyed the pool and, after 2 days of terrible internet, we finally had a reliable connection. A recent reviewer stated that the sites are "small". I don't know what site he/she had but our site was fine and there were at least 20 big rigs here with plenty of room for their 40 footers and toads (some still attached). With the facilities and amenities here plus the historic significance of the area, this is more than "an OK place to stay on your way to somewhere else" as that reviewer stated. Bathrooms, showers, and laudry in the office building are older but adequate and clean. There is a trailer with additional bathrooms and showers toweard the back of the park. They do have bins for glass, aluminum, and plastic recycling. There are numerous restaurants and fast food places within walking distance. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice shady park but constant noise from the close by Interstate. Yet, good location handy to restaurants and services. Had a pull thru site in muddy grass, yet the gravel site next to us stayed open all night. Clean, private bathrooms in back area. Great for an overnight but seemed pricey. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have been on the road for five weeks and this is one of the best parks we have been to..it is level, shady and very clean. There is a nice pool, cute gift shop and clean laundry facility. The hosts are very personable and dedicated to the park. I would recommend it to everyone either for a one night stop or extended stay. Easy access and many activities within walking distance. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Has nice pool on grounds. Mini golf, ice cream parlor and restaurants within a block.

Very personable owner/managers. very helpful. Campground is quite noisy at night with truck jake brakes on the interstate. Quite dirty with tree sap dripping on the coach. Very thin layer of gravel over the dirt of the site caused mud to splash about 3 feet up the sides of the coach when it rained. Nice restaurant at entrance to campground. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

The owners were very helpful when I made the reservation. We stayed one month. You are responsible for the elec @.115/KW paid in arrears. Laundry facilities on site. The grounds are nice with mature trees. The roads are gravel. Go slow so you don't kick up dust. Wild West rule of the roads. My 39' fit just fine. There is a place to park your vehicle right next to the rig. There are various sized spots. There is an open field in the back for Class As who would want to use satellite. CG provides cable. If parked in the "field," look @ your spot first. I saw one person towing a truck not make the turn they have to make in order to pull through. It doesn't look like smaller cars had any issue. There is a pool. This truly is a campground. There are tent sites along their creek. Mother Nature provides the mosquitoes. Interstate runs adjacent to the park. I am noise sensitive, and it wasn't too bad. They do have a dog park. I did have to level using boards after parking, but there's been so much rain lately thankfully. They have WiFi. The 30mg switch supports the entire CG. You will experience slow speed on up and downloads. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great base camp. You could stay around these parts for two weeks and just scratch the surface. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

They have a 17.5 mile walking trail you can access close to the CG. Take in the Occidental Hotel. Crazy Woman Canyon for sure! I ride a Harley, so 16 is great, but 14A is amazing!

Decent CG. Clean. Grass is kept cut. Long pull thru sites. Gravel roads and sites with grass between sites. Cottonwood was flying when we were there. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Bighorn mountains a short drive away. Crazy woman canyon is neat if you have 4WD. Hotel in downtown Buffalo was interesting.

We stayed at Indian campground only one night but if we had more time we would have stayed longer. The owners are very friendly and helpful and take pride in running a beautiful campground . Our site was level and large enough to accommodate our motorhome and towed vehicle. The pool was clean and refreshing on a very hot day. The WiFi and cable TV worked well. The showers, restrooms and laundry area are conveniently located in the main building and are spotless. Even though this campground is located in a busy area near several main streets it is still quiet and peaceful with lots of shade trees. I would recommend anyone staying in the Buffalo area or just passing through to stay at Indian Campground. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a nostalgic (1950's) style Ice Cream parlor across the street where you can get a huge cone or Sunday for a reasonable price.

There is a car and RV wash down the street and several easy to access gas stations close by.

Wish more parks were like this one - nicely treed, large pull-thru sites, level gravel pads. Owner was on hand, very friendly and helpful. It's over 10 acres with plenty of space to walk the dog. Access from I25 is easy and there's very little traffic noise. As others have said, decent restaurants are within walking distance. And top marks for recycling bins! Spent 2 days here, wish I'd had time for more. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
