We had such a good experience at this campground. The sites were level, wide with grass at the door. It had a picnic table and a fire pit if you wanted to build a fire. The cottonwood trees are wonderful and provided good shade on our trailer. The laundry and restroom were pristine. We really enjoyed our visit here. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We toured downtown Buffalo. Very cute. We toured several museums and drove up Big Horn Mountain. Spent 3 days just looking around enjoying the town.

This is our go to park in Buffalo. We stayed one weekday night in early July and, as usual, had a level, gravel, FHU, pull-through site with cable TV. This park resolved the change to digital requiring a new cable box problem by getting their own satellite TV and feeding to the individual sites. Their new system only has about 20 channels. Except for half a dozen newer sites in the back of the park, very few sites are satellite friendly. We had one minor issue when we pulled into our assigned site. It is a problem I have run into occasionally and don't know why parks do this: our assigned site had just been over water causing the leftside of the parking area to be muddy and unavoidable while setting up. If mother nature wants to muddy a site, fine, but the park should not be doing it and then forcing the customer a muddy inconvenience. Everything else was fine. We enjoyed the pool and, after 2 days of terrible internet, we finally had a reliable connection. A recent reviewer stated that the sites are "small". I don't know what site he/she had but our site was fine and there were at least 20 big rigs here with plenty of room for their 40 footers and toads (some still attached). With the facilities and amenities here plus the historic significance of the area, this is more than "an OK place to stay on your way to somewhere else" as that reviewer stated. Bathrooms, showers, and laudry in the office building are older but adequate and clean. There is a trailer with additional bathrooms and showers toweard the back of the park. They do have bins for glass, aluminum, and plastic recycling. There are numerous restaurants and fast food places within walking distance. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice shady park but constant noise from the close by Interstate. Yet, good location handy to restaurants and services. Had a pull thru site in muddy grass, yet the gravel site next to us stayed open all night. Clean, private bathrooms in back area. Great for an overnight but seemed pricey. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

The owners were very helpful when I made the reservation. We stayed one month. You are responsible for the elec @.115/KW paid in arrears. Laundry facilities on site. The grounds are nice with mature trees. The roads are gravel. Go slow so you don't kick up dust. Wild West rule of the roads. My 39' fit just fine. There is a place to park your vehicle right next to the rig. There are various sized spots. There is an open field in the back for Class As who would want to use satellite. CG provides cable. If parked in the "field," look @ your spot first. I saw one person towing a truck not make the turn they have to make in order to pull through. It doesn't look like smaller cars had any issue. There is a pool. This truly is a campground. There are tent sites along their creek. Mother Nature provides the mosquitoes. Interstate runs adjacent to the park. I am noise sensitive, and it wasn't too bad. They do have a dog park. I did have to level using boards after parking, but there's been so much rain lately thankfully. They have WiFi. The 30mg switch supports the entire CG. You will experience slow speed on up and downloads. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great base camp. You could stay around these parts for two weeks and just scratch the surface. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

They have a 17.5 mile walking trail you can access close to the CG. Take in the Occidental Hotel. Crazy Woman Canyon for sure! I ride a Harley, so 16 is great, but 14A is amazing!

Wish more parks were like this one - nicely treed, large pull-thru sites, level gravel pads. Owner was on hand, very friendly and helpful. It's over 10 acres with plenty of space to walk the dog. Access from I25 is easy and there's very little traffic noise. As others have said, decent restaurants are within walking distance. And top marks for recycling bins! Spent 2 days here, wish I'd had time for more. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here on the way to Yellowstone. Second time we enjoyed the campground. Had a nice drive-in site in the trees up front. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walked to the Dash Inn restaurant that is at the entrance to the park.

This is a highly rated local restaurant but we did not enjoyed the ribs. They were beef and undercooked.

This is a nice campground right in the middle of town. It is easy to get in and out with a 40ft. motorhome. We used the pool and it is big and pleasant. The owners are friendly and very hands on. We would come back again. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very likeable, appealing park, with many shade trees and nice staff. Pool and swings for kids, clean restrooms, and laundry. We liked the varied rates for different size rigs and hookups. Great TV cable lineup. Most sites gravel but ours grass; glad it didn't rain. Very good RV car wash across street, a cheap gas station, and some fast food places plus a steakhouse all close by. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very well maintained park with lots of trees and grass. Great area for walking dogs, good Wi-Fi. Extremely friendly staff and owners. Had a blue grass band playing in the office when we came in and appetizers too! Love this campground and may come back to the area just because of it! We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Access in and out is easy. For a big rig parking in front is great. Sites are pull through with room for slides and awnings. Trees near sites but trimmed and not an issue. Picnic table at each site. Hookups work well. Store is more of a gift shop and prices were reasonable. Wifi and cable worked. Buffalo is a quaint little town to visit. Restaurants and ice cream shop with miniature golf right across from campground. Fast food also within walking distance. We would stay here again. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice shade trees, clean facilities, friendly, helpful people. Some of the smaller sites are a little packed together but sufficient. All level gravel sites. Wi-Fi and TV worked very well. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lovely campsite,we were here for an overnight stay on route but would certainly stay longer. Easy on off from I-90 and I-25 but no traffic noise. Long site plenty of space for our trailer and tow truck. Gravel road and level site, grass area with picnic table. Pool, walking distance to restaurants. Friendly helpful staff. Good range of cable channels and excellent WiFi. We certainly recommend. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at the other parks in Buffalo but now always stay at Indian Campground when traveling through Wyoming. Very clean, quiet, convenient, and priced right. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This has been our preferred RV park in Buffalo for years. It not only has the facilities (FHU, pull-through sites) and amenities (cable TV, a Wi-Fi network with good reception, a pool, and a large laundry, etc.) we want but is also within walking distance of many places to eat. Even downtown Buffalo is only a 20 minute walk. The other 2 commercial RV parks are father east of town and not as close to everything. The owners are pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, there may be a problem with their cable TV in the future. Their provider (the only one in the area) is going to the HDTV system that forces users who don't have newer TVs to attached a converter box to get the cable stations. This is at best annoying and, for some of us, almost impossible to because of how our TVs are set up in the RV. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.
