This was our second time to stay here. We thought the first unpleasant stay was a fluke. We were wrong. The entrance is narrow and if someone else is already there checking in, it's difficult to park or get by. One of the managers was very rude and unprofessional...again! The sites are tight and very close. You can easily hear your neighbors talking, watching TV or whatever. The picnic table is practically in the neighbor's driveway. The laundry/restroom area needs a good scrubbing. We didn't try the onsite BBQ, as the hours it was available were not convenient for us. Verizon was OK. All things considered, it was overpriced for what you received. We'll look elsewhere next time. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

At least this website prepared us for this overpriced park. But we were surprised on check-in to learn that they no longer have "60 channel cable TV", just 24 with the networks out of California, instead of Denver. At least our site wasn't too unlevel and only had one neighbor. Bathrooms were dirty and had standing water late at night. The RV office is inside the BBQ restaurant. The WiFi was weak, but Verizon MiFi was fine. We will try to avoid Cheyenne in the future but this park could be tolerable for one night . Maybe. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Called earlier in the day to check availability. Got a message "am busy right now but leave your number and I'll call back." I did leave my number but no return call. Went to park anyhow. Got there was told that, "my inbox is full so probably didn't get your call". Why not clean out your inbox for a starter. Only sites available were 30 amp - no water, no sewer. O.K., we took it. Were told, "we have been having Wi-Fi problems." See where that has been an ongoing problem for a long time - why not fix it? Comment was correct - Wi-Fi was basically not existent. Will not stay again. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Tight spaces, so you are looking right into your neighbor's window and picnicking right next to their sewer connections. Otherwise good Wi-Fi, clean restrooms. The campground has a restaurant that makes pork every night, if you eat that sort of thing. Located not far off the interstate. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $55.00
During Frontier days, they up the rate to $55. Not worth it, though for tenters there is shade and grass. The fenced dog areas have grass and one is shaded by large trees. The spaces are very narrow in the 'older ' part of the park with big trees for shade. Some spaces were more level than others. Other reviewers commented on the ribs and I will too. Some of the best I've had! There were dogs loose and vehicles going too fast stirred up dust, including the guys on golf carts. I wasn't there for Frontier days and probably wouldn't stay again anyway. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

I requested a level site and the owner went out of his way to give me a good site. The park had two very clean pet parks and management made it clear that we needed to pick up, everyone did! I used the showers and they were very clean. Ate dinner at their restaurant, and all of the staff couldn't have worked harder to make campers comfortable. I needed a fuse and although they had lots of sizes, they didn't have one that fit my needs. I appreciated the fact that they tried hard to find one. I would stay there again, even enjoyed hearing the rooster next door. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed at this campground to attend Cheyenne Frontier Days. Although the campsites were narrow and close together, we enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The staff was very friendly and provided very helpful information regarding Frontier Days upon check-in. There is a shuttle to/from Frontier Park a couple of blocks from the campsite which was really convenient and costs $1/per person each way. We would stay here again. I gave this park a higher rating for 2 reasons. The first is the very friendly staff at check-in. The second was the excellent BBQ dinner that is cooked and served in the small but clean and well run diner at a very reasonable price. As for the park, it looks a little tired and could use some sprucing up. The sites are narrow. I did not use the bathroom, shower or laundry area. We would stay here again for one or two nights. This park is dated and could use some grounds care. Dirt, gravel and spotty grass. Restrooms/showers ok, dated, but clean. 2 dog runs...? messy & my small dogs could get through the opening in gate. The save is the nice owners and really good BBQ House on premises. All hook ups & cable worked fine. A little close on the spaces. But we would stay again. Not a destination campground, but perfectly serviceable for a couple of nights in the area. For the most part the sites are gravel pads with a few trees here and there. I thought that the $40 rate (with Good Sam) was high but there aren't many options in town. We were given a pull-through site in the center. These sites were originally set up as narrow back-to-back sites, but they are using them as singles for rigs with slide-outs and there was plenty of room for the trailer with the truck. Our site had 50 amp power, water, sewer, and cable. Nice laundry room with 6 washers and 6 dryers, and reasonable rates. Office had a few items for sale, including ice. There is a BBQ restaurant on the property but it wasn't open while we were there. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $36.00
The rate reflects a full-service site with a Good Sam discount. We chose this campground because it was off on the Interstates and, hopefully, would not have highway noise. The campground is about one and a half miles off of the interstate and is somewhat of a rural setting. Most campgrounds in the area are right on the Interstate. That was nice and there was no highway noise. We called ahead and made reservations since the lady answering the phone said that they did fill. Check-in was easy and the lady was nice and helpful. The campground is comprised of a front campground and a back campground. We got a site in the back campground. There was nothing said or written about Wi-Fi and we had no Wi-Fi signal. Our Verizon phone and data (4G) worked well and we had no problem getting a view of the sky for satellite. Most of the sites seemed to be occupied by long-term occupants. Not a problem, except they get up very early, even on Saturday, to start their diesel trucks, so expect a 4 a.m. wake-up call. We were there on a Friday night and could clearly hear the high school football game broadcast. The interior roads of the park are dirt, not gravel, dirt. So when it rained and snowed during our stay, it was a very, very sloppy mess. That reduced our rating by a couple of points. We had service issues that caused us to stay in Cheyenne. If we had to be in the town again, we would probably stay here again. If, given a choice, we would move on outside to the city. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Rate noted is based on weekly rate. The workampers that manage the place were friendly and helpful. We were guided to our site. Wi-Fi was out for a few days. It took time to get it going then a storm came in and out it went again. Wi-Fi was not reliable. My biggest complaint is that the sites are pretty close to each other. Would like more breathing room. They have a BBQ restaurant by the office but we did not try it. I probably would try another campground in the area next time. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $30.00
Very nice large RV park with gravel roads and sites with small grass areas and table. Sites with and without trees. Have both big rig pull through sites and back-in sites, but all are narrow but do-able. All with 30 or 50 amp, water and sewer. A few tent areas. No game room, no club house, no pool or spa, small exercise room and no kids play areas. Free password protected Wi-Fi but weak in areas. Very good Verizon cell and 4G signal. Satellite TV signal in most sites and cable TV available. Staff friendly and helpful and accepts pets. No scheduled activities but Bar-B-Que restaurant on site and open every evening with excellent food and very reasonable prices. Laundry small, only 3 machines but only $1 and clean. Closes for season Oct 1. About 2 miles from freeway and 3 miles outside of Cheyenne. Would stay there again. Cost listed is for GS & weekly rate. Does not accept C2C, Passport or RPI or ROD. The sites are gravel and fairly level, but very close together. Wi-Fi at the front of the park works well. The Bar-B-Que at the on-site restaurant was ok, but not up to Texas standards. We would probably look for somewhere else to stay if in the area again. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We enjoyed our stay, but the sight we were in was not level, and we had a hard time getting our sway bars to break loose. A lot of the sites did have concrete pads, which appeared to be level. The staff was super nice and the grounds were well kept. We stayed 2 nights while touring Cheyenne. We'd return again, if in the area. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
