Sites are all gravel (large gravel) so clean. Long pull throughs. Sites include picnic table. We had end site 36 which had a nice tree and was more spacious. Wifi worked good. Numerous over the air channels but must use cable to receive NBC. Surge suppressor tripped power off twice. Prior to trip off noted one leg of 50 AMP service at 131 volts, other leg at 117 volts. Not sure if even higher voltage on one leg caused surge suppressor to trip power off. Fenced dog park with pea gravel. Some highway and train noise but not objectionable. Small individual shower rooms. Large Pilot station with RV lanes nearby. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sierra Trading Post retail store very close via back road without needing to go back on freeway

The park facilities are very clean and neat. The park is all gravel and even when it rains it is not too messy. The rate is a monthly rate. Utilities were good. The managers were friendly and helpful. There is more than the usual space between sites but it is a commercial park so you are lined up with your neighbors. Trees are scatter about the park but most would not interfere with satellite reception. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

It's ok. Big rigs can land here with room to spare. All gravel. Truck stop next door. Safe and clean place to stay. Their website kinda makes it look like an RV resort. Hmmm... Not so much. But nice place. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very clean and well run KOA. The only things keeping it from a higher rating is the fact it is close to the highway, so there is some noise, and the rate seems a little high. It is very easy in and out and easy access to propane purchases. The sites are level gravel, most have a tree, and have a picnic table. The managers told us that 98% of their business is overnight travelers, so there is quite a bit of in and out traffic. We stayed for 3 nights. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Plenty to do in Cheyenne, visit the Visitor Center at the Depot and tour the museum. Ride the trolley for a 90 min tour of town and a narration of Cheyenne history. We also visited the State Capitol building and toured the old Govenors Mansion, very interesting!

Very clean and kept up. Excellent stop for the night as it is right off the highway but really no traffic noise. Nice, well stocked store on site and very friendly check in process. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here as a stop off heading to South Dakota. The roads are wide, and easy to bring in a big rig. The roads and sites are gravel, therefore no dust and easy to level the rig. The park is located right off I-80, therefore there is some highway noise as well as trains in the area. However, AC and fans drown out any noise. Small designated area for dogs (also gravel) but there is grass around property. Office staff very friendly. There is a mini golf course, pool, horseshoes. We did wonder if a manure plant was close, as there was a strong smell when we stayed there, however I don't see many reviews referring to the small. Therefore, don't think this is an on going issue. It's great for an overnight! We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is very conveniently located on the interstate, and there is a truck stop at the exit nearby for fuel. The park is well maintained, but it's entirely gravel and has little character. Having said that, we would definitely stay here again - plenty of room, good hookups, nice pool. It's a fine place for a night or two in Cheyenne. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

Stopped here twice earlier this summer. Not a destination or resort but a very nice, clean, well maintained campground. Far enough from the roads that traffic noise was not a problem. Very convenient big rig gas/diesel stop as you leave the campground. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Short drive into Cheyenne with information about the city available at the office. Worth an extra night to see Cheyenne and learn some of the city's history.

Nice KOA. Mostly a gravel parking lot with all the amenities. Level pull thru 30 amp F/H/U sites. Some 50 amp sites. Dog walks and bags. Very friendly staff. Propane and store. Right off freeway about 4 miles from town. Would stay again. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

This looks to be a fairly new KOA. It is easy to get to from I-80 and easy to get into and out of with a big rig. However, it is basically a large gravel parking lot divided into RV sites. There is no grass at any sites, and no mature trees, so there is no shade. Sites a pretty close together with nothing separating adjacent sites except the utility hookups. Our site was level. Cable TV worked well, but there are only about 11 channels. We could not get the Wi-Fi to work. This KOA is okay for an overnight stop, and we would stay here again. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA is just east of Cheyenne off I-80. Even though it is close to the highway, it is far enough away so there is not much road noise. The sites are wide. The site we had was long enough for our 39 foot class A and the connected toad. The sites and the roads are well covered in gravel. There is a lot of grassy area for walking the dog. We did not use the pool but it looked very nice. They have a small miniature golf course. I could not connect to the WiFi but since there was a strong Verizon signal, I only tried once and then used my Verizon hot spot. The folks at the front desk were very nice., We enjoyed our stay here and would come back if in the area. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The railroad museum in Cheyenne was worth the trip.

Cheyenne KOA is nothing more than a gravel parking lot. We had trouble fitting the rig and toad on the pull-thru sites which seemed rather short. The site we stayed in was unlevel, even though it appeared to be level. Had difficulty connecting to and using WIFI. Friendly and responsive staff. Dog park is ok for small dogs. Clean laundry facility. Good one night stop. Campground was a bit pricey. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

We pulled in just before a large rainstorm and were happy that the park is mostly gravel-no mud! The utilities are new, so no problems. The staff was helpful and we drove into the site with no trouble. There are small trees around the park, but after all this is the Wyoming praire. The park is located east of I25 a few miles on I80, but no road noise. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Sanfords restaurant in Cheyenne is fun, with good food and a ton of TV's for sports.

Lovely place to stay, wish we had more time to spend here, staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. We had a full-hookup site including cable tv. The layout is great, there are camp sites, tent sites, cabins, miniature golf, pool, dog run, and appears to have rv storage area. Showers are separate rooms from restrooms, both of which are clean, and being separated which is nice as not holding anyone up who need to use the restrooms. The office/supplies/gift store is very well stocked, and even has stamps both first class as well as postcard stamps. Can't go wrong by staying here. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Historic downtown Cheyenne is a fun place to tour and am sure there are many more places to see ... the office staff has many free brochures as well as a coupon book.

Staff nice. All gravel park. Clear views for Satellite. Kind of expensive for an overnight stay. Our spot was w/e only and we dumped on the way out. We would stay again. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.
