One of the better parking lots off the highway to spend the night. Tight spots, tiny grass between. Sprinklers run every night, and you are advised not to leave your awning out. Great customer service, helped us with propane right away. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Couldn't use the television as we didn't have a digital box , but that was no problem as we had plenty to do in Cody .(a person can watch TV at home lol) Everything else was great. very close quarters , but at least we had a patch of grass in between . The office was very helpful with any information. We stayed 3 nights . The site was pretty level so we didn't have to level much at all . We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Turns are a bit narrow, but doable. Sites are gravel and narrow for our 43' Class A motorhome. But, there is plenty of space between campers. Must park on your site which can be tight for a large rig and tow. Clean restrooms and reasonable priced laundry. Wifi steady. Watch out for lawn sprinklers which will spot your rig and tow. Lots to see and do in Cody. Museum is excellent and tic includes 2-day visits to see everything. Cute downtown shops. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

The campground was in a good location from Cody. The sites are pull through but short. We parked next to a 5th wheel and if they hadn't left the day before we would have had to ask them to move there truck because there was no way we could have gotten out of our spot. Spots are very close and our neighbors were right under our window when they were outside. The wifi worked good and we had satellite for TV. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have over the years stayed here about 25 nights! Owner and his staff are always helpful and polite. There is grass between the sites and is watered nightly so it is always good looking. I suggest reservations during peak travel times. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

We usually stay at the park on the west side of town, but decided to save $10-15 by staying here. Although there appears to be a row a small back in sites on the east side of the park, the park map shows only the 80 or so pull through sites. They are all FHU with cable TV. The Wi-Fi was fine for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing ) needs. The bathhouse/laundry building was in the center of the park. These facilities were clean. I did not see anything recreational or any recycling in the park. There are 4 or 5 fast food places and an Albertsen's within walking distance but "downtown" is a bit of a walk. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Paved roads are a little tight for big coaches, but it is manageable. Management is terrific. I discussed at checkin that I was trying to get into West Yellowstone, but having trouble. Nice lady said she would give me a refund if I got another place and wanted to leave. She did refund me a night, which is very unusual. Park was close to town. I'd stay there again. This is a very clean, pretty little rv park along the main highway in Cody. Gravel pull throughs with grass, picnic tables and some trees. Enough over the air tv channels were available. 50 amp, sewer, good wifi, good water and quiet. Washers were $1.50 and dryers were .75 for 45 minutes. Conveniently located. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here July 1-2-3. Cody is very big on their rodeos and parades during 4th of July holiday. There is a parade every day and a rodeo every evening. Directions to this property are a little challenging if you've not been before. Some GPS will bring you in through the back entry; however, stay on HWY 14-16 and you will get to the entrance. RV signage is not well marked tho. Sites are close together; table and grass area at each site. We had 50 amp service and FHU. We did need to unhook truck from 5th wheel; sites are short. Laundry and showers are adequate: there are 4 showers each with a toilet and 2 separate toilets. Shower curtains instead of doors in bathroom. Fast food next to property and their parking lot lights stay on for a long time. We checked another RV park in the area but would stay at Absaroka again. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cody is a busy place for tourists so they have to pack you in to get everyone in. This park is clean with good utilities and so so wifi. This park is tight maneuvering and getting in your space. Towed vehicles must be unhooked. All in all it worked well and was quiet. Everything you need is close by. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very tight park. They do have grass between spaces in our they were watering too much and lots of mushrooms so if you have a pet beware. Utilities worked well. Wi-fi was intermittent and slow when it worked. No cable service and over air reception is spotty though satellite is good for most spaces. Park is constantly full this time of year, with lots of daily turnover. Some highway road noise but it quiets down at night. Sewer is a slip coupling and you have to hunt for a rock to hold the connection tight. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Pleasant small park with wide, paved interior roads, gravel pads, lush grassy sites and picnic tables. This busy little no-frills park is right next to the highway but relatively quiet. No store, but they do sell ice. Not within walking distance to local shops or attractions, but a short 5 minute drive away. Easy to negotiate and level; most sites are pull-thru and require RVs to disconnect tow vehicles and park cross the end of the site. Short back-in sites on one end. No off-leash dog facility but leashed dogs welcomed. Clean bathrooms, showers and laundry; bathrooms have just shower curtains for doors. Four OTA TV channels; Verizon had mediocre reception. WiFI was surprisingly good and free. After comparing to other parks in the area during our 3 night stay, we agree we would prefer to stay here again. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great little place to stay very close to downtown Cody, WY. We don't need a swimming pool, playground, or other facilities: we liked the excellent access, pretty quiet nights, level site, great laundry facility, proximity to town. Smoking WiFi which is great for planning excursions in the area. No fire rings which is great: we don't have to put up with green wood or trash thrown on fires. We'll come back here. Tips for other Campers:

Buffalo Bill museum, of course. See the Heart Mountain concentration camp for Japanese-Americans. Very sobering. Pioneer museum in Powell has a lot of local history. Old Trail Town in Cody has some mountain man and pioneer history but also a lot of old junk. See Curley's cabin - reason we went - he was a Crow scout with Custer at LBH but was smart enough to get out of there once he did his job. Lot of sun, wind, and hydro potential here, not sure why that isn't booming?

This is a nice clean park with level sites. Showers and restroom were good as were all the utilities except the WiFi. WiFi here is like many other RV parks - slow, slow, slow. Some road noise during the day but quiet at night. Convenient to Cody attractions. Verizon is good, as is DirecTV. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.
