Its all about the location here. Super friendly check in staff of workampers. Easy to navigate wide gravel roads, no pot holes. Our site was spacious and level and plenty of space between us and our neighbors. We even had apple trees on our site and were encouraged to help ourselves. Showers are great, as is the bathroom and laundry (newly remodeled). Tomatoes planted purposefully at showerhouse and you are welcome to pick as you need. The view of the tower is remarkable and you have to hike the trails. The red beds are breathtaking and abundant wildlife in and around the campground. The local buffalo "Bella" is a real hoot..she poses for photographers. Camp store is beautiful and the restaurant is great! We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

This is one one of the more spacious sites in the campground. Water pressure was good, downside windshield facing away from tower, upside awning side facing tower. Unfortunately a 45 footer in the next site over blocked our view unless we sat near the edge of our site. Pad level side to side but on a bit of a slope in the front. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA is in a beautiful setting just before the entrance to Devil's Tower. Even though we did not get a "view" site, we had a beautiful view of Devil's Tower out the front windshield of the coach. We got a log pull thru site plenty long enough to keep the toad attached. We faced a grass field where some of the tent sites are. The park is easily accessed from the main road and the interior roads are wide enough to get around without any trouble. The internet was really good. There is no cable or over the air channels so you will need a satellite dish to get anything. There is lots of space to walk the dog. The entrance to Devil's Tower is adjacent to the park. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

They say you never get a second chance to make a good first impression. The last park we were in offered us free ice cream on check-in. Here at Devils Tower KOA our first impression was of chaos. Their driveway/parking lot has no signs (other than the signs along the fence saying Do Not Park Here), no arrows or lines on the pavement, and it is crowded with not only campers checking in, but with gift shop, restaurant and snack bar traffic. We pulled in along their road and checked in, the office lady was very nice. We were given a map showing our site location, but on the roads there are NO signs to direct you to your site. We parked in the full sun with no shade in the afternoon even with our awning down. (In fact our neighbors moved their picnic table close to our motor home so they could be in the shade of it!) Having said all this, the park will probably make no changes because everyone wants to come here to see Devils Tower. It's all about location, I realize that; otherwise they would never be able to charge what they charge. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

Gravel sites were virtually level, clean, with grass patio. Sewer on our site (#13) was too far from the electrical/water to hook up simultaneously unless you have a very long hose and caterpillar support, but worked for dumping when ready to leave.

A tip to the park manager: Unfortunately, This KOA is similar to others with high-end pricing, possibly due to the many amenities that we don't need or ever use. I suggest you offer structured pricing for those looking for a simple overnight place to park. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

Very dusty - the roads and sites are more dirt than gravel and people go faster than they should. The entrance to the KOA is just before the entrance to Devils Tower. You get stuck in the line to go to DT even if you're going to the KOA. I wouldn't stay here planning to use it as a base camp for the area because of that line which was pretty long most of the day. On the upside it was very easy to get to Devils Tower which is the only reason to stay here! We had a view of the tower from the front of our site 48 even though it wasn't a "view" site. Wifi didn't work very well. No OTA channels although we did get satellite. Lots of grass for dog walking. We didn't use restrooms or pool but we seldom do. I doubt we return. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

If you're staying for the views of Devils Tower, this place can't be beat. Even if you can't see it from your easy chair at your site, the tower is visible from most areas of the park if you just take a walk. We walked into the park early in the morning past the ranger station to watch the sunrise - no one there that early to check in with, and we just walked a few hundred yards and then turned back, going into the park with our vehicle later in the day. The KOA itself is really nice. The showers are individual, and newly tiled. Very clean and private. The pool and play area were well-used by the kids in the park. Our site had a partial view if we looked over our truck. We didn't have any complaints, and would stay here again if we ever come back to the area. There's not much to do except see the tower and a couple of small museums in the area, but it's beautiful country with lots of less-traveled roads that would be great for motorcycling. We didn't watch the movie, but what a treat to get to see it for free! Maybe next time. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

There's a back entrance you can use to get into the KOA if you're stuck in the traffic trying to get into the park. Check out the small museum in Hulett - the owner/curator is onsite and a wonderful man full of information.

BED BUGS! We stayed in a cabin for 1 night and got eaten alive. The bathrooms, showers, grounds, pool were fine, but do not stay in a cabin! The rustic wood furniture and interior of the cabins make them excellent breeding grounds for bed bugs. No amount of chemical spray or treatment is going to kill them, there are too many cracks and crevasses for them to hide in. So, if you're in a tent, or an RV you're fine. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Cabin.

Amazing views! Pretty expensive even for a KOA, but it is just about the only game in town. Hookups adequate. Water pressure a bit low. No over the air TV and wi fi very slow. Many spots in full sun with temps while we were here in upper 90s. We asked for a shady spot when we reserved and got a back in that did have some shade during the day. Fairly level on grass. Front windshield faced Tower (nice) and western sun (not so nice). Very dusty at times. They do show Close Encounters of the Third Kind nightly and that is really fun to see the campground used in the film! We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice KOA. The pull through we were in was a bit short, but it was level. Others seemed longer but not as level. Some of the back in sites are VERY short. A spectacular location at the base of the mountain. Good family amenities in this RV Park make it a treat. Located right smack at the base of the mountain. Being at this KOA adjacent to DT is a special treat! This is our 3rd visit and we hope to come back! We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

Its so neat to go to the outdoor viewing of Close Encounters of the Third Kind at the KOA every night. With the tower as a backdrop its very special. The hay ride is fun also. For those that like a nice hike you can hike up the mountain from the campground for some good exercise!

We had made a reservation for one night but changed our mind to stay for 2, staff was great to find us anotherer site, though we had to change sites. Great location, wonderful views, easy to maneuver in. The newer sites have no shade, but we were level in both of the sites we used. We will stay here again some time. I liked my stay , very close to Devils Tower. However I was told 5mph was required in the park yet 4 wheelers , golf carts, other rv's fly thru the park and it's not enforced. I was getting dusted out a lot. Also the restaurant was expensive for the amount of food you get. There is no fuel in the area, I had to drive 9 miles to get it.

It was frustrating that people cut through my site and the park speed isn't enforced. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Since a 10 in perfect I had to give it a 9. It would be a 10 except that the WiFi was very intermittent, the upper bathroom needs to be remodeled, the sites are gravel and there is no rec room. Given that, this is an excellent park to stay at. The view of Devils Tower is stunning. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here to visit Devil's Tower. The campground is at the base of the park and the park gate is right outside the campground. You can not get any closer to the park and still be outside. The view of the tower from the campground is incredible and we very much enjoyed it. The campground, like the park, is in the middle of nowhere so there is no road noise and you can see many stars in the sky that we could never see at home in the city. Our site was a huge pull through which had far more space than we needed. However, the hooks up were poorly located as they were near the very front on the site by the tow vehicle. We had to use three water hoses and a 25 ft extension cord along with our trailer cord. We didn't even try to hook up the sewer and just waited until morning. In the morning, we pulled the trailer forward with the truck now in the road and then dumped the tanks. It was OK for one night, but I would not be happy with this site if I was staying for several days and really expected to have a full hook up site. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is the place to stay if you want to be very close to the park. We hiked around the tower in the evening after supper. That worked out well for us because the sun was lower in the sky with better colors on the rock, and it was a bit cooler.
