We are currently staying at this park. We love it and will mark it as one of our favorites! The park is beautifully maintained. The staff are exceptional! The only thing I might suggest is an exercise room. We give them a 10!!!If ever coming back to this area we will absolutely come back her and recommend it to all our RV friends! The online pictures do not give this place justice! We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

A day's drive from Yellowstone, this is a busy park during the summer season. We were escorted to our site and mistaking our rig for a rental, the kind gentleman even came back and added a water regulator to our hose connection. (Not sure we needed one, but it was very nice of him to go the extra mile). The park backs up to the Wind River. It was clean, the hookups were convenient. There is an indoor pool & game room for the kids. The layout was a little funky and there was quite of bit of cutting thru sites to get to the main building. Shops & restaurants within walking distance. Great pie at the Cowboy Cafe! We would certainly return if in the area again. We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

Location, location, location. I've paid a lot less at Koa's for a lot more. Roads and sites were mostly dirt with a little gravel. We were in a pull through that was tight getting out (tree limbs) but we made it. Our site seemed to be the only one with that problem and of course we were surrounded by much smaller RV's that would not have had the problem we did. You can't see the river unless you walk thru someone else's site or there happens to be an empty site that's on the river. With all that said, it's right in town and easy walking distance to tourist attractions. Patio "area" dirt and gravel. We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cowboy Cafe was good for lunch. We walked into Rustic Pine Saloon and were the only ones there and two employees were too busy talking with each other to even greet us, so we left. Two Mom's Bakery was outstanding! Bought some Sour Dough bread and cinnamon rolls which were excellent. They are right on the river with a nice sitting area. If they aren't already selling wine I'd take a bottle of wine, buy the bread and sit on their deck on the river.

This park is super clean. Nice big indoor heated pool and also game room. Laundry room is small but very clean. Our site was by the river which pretty cool. The only negative is we were too close to the neighbors sewer hookup. Otherwise Definitely recommend this KOA! We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice campground right on the Wind River. We paid extra for a deluxe patio site and it included a deck and patio table and chairs. Good amount of space. There is a mix of tents, cabins, and RVs that are all laid out nicely. Our only complaint is that the cable wasn't working on our site. We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

Used KOA points to get $25 discount on price. Wanted to stay 2 nights but they were closing for season the next day. One of the cleanest and spacious KOA'S we have stayed in. Owner was great and friendly. Escorted to long site. Services perfectly placed. Other guests friendly and eager to share travel experiences. So much fun. Will make sure to stay here again. This is an A+ park! Our site was just a few feet from the clear (and cold!) Wind River which was amazingly relaxing. The staff was friendly, the park was spotless, and the facilities (including indoor swimming pool, game room with ping pong, pool, and some arcade games) were first rate. The showers and bathrooms were exceptionally clean.

We had cell coverage (AT&T) with data (only 3G) in Dubois, but the park had wifi which worked most of the time. Ice, firewood, and laundromat were all available at fair prices.

We only stayed one night, in site #33, and were sad to go because it was so nice. It makes an excellent stop for those heading to Grand Teton NP from the east. We highly recommend this park and look forward to returning for a more extended stay. We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We had a pull-through site with no cable TV. The cable only had 12 stations so we weren't missing much. Some of the back-in sites backed up to the Wind River, which was pretty. And it's obvious how the river got its name: the area is quite windy. We were advised not to leave our awning up.

The wifi at this campground didn't work very well, either. When we mentioned it to the manager, we were told that it should work fine because we were close to the wifi antenna. Interesting but not very helpful. The campground is walking distance from the small shopping district which has some nice restaurants and galleries. I guess the price reflects accessibility to Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks, though it is more than an hour's drive to both. We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the nicest KOA we've been to, beautiful river view for some of the back inns site, lots of grass, nice view.

Water pressure was excellent!!! Wifi.... Don't bother, very bad. We had cell reception with Verizon (3G extended), but no cell Internet.

Some site had a nice wood patio with table and chairs. Most of the sites have a very nice specious area, we enjoyed the grass and the river a lot.

It's very family friendly, got game room, indoor pool, volleyball/badminton. We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice and well kept park right beside the Wind River. We arrived here in early August without a reservation because we didn't have any specific destination in mind that morning but then decided to take US Hwy 26 up to Grand Teton Nat'l Park. We felt lucky to get one of the many open spaces right along the river that night - lucky until given the rate for those sites at $53. We decided to take it anyway, because we'd been staying in USFS campgrounds at $7 a night and figured we'd splurge and enjoy the river. And we did. Well, we did until around 10:30 p.m. when the local emergency siren broke the stillness of the night with a nerve shattering and very loud wail that rousted everyone in the camp from their beds. There was no one to provide information about the reason for the siren so people were a bit confused and apprehensive. We decided to check our emergency radio and discovered that due to heavy rain predicted in the area, Dubois was now under a Flash Flood Watch. We were parked less than 30 feet from the river so our anxiety level skyrocketed. No one from the park or from the town ever arrived to let people know the situation. We pulled up a radar map via the internet and to the experienced eye of my rancher husband, decided that there was no eminent danger that we could see. We set the emergency radio to Alert status and went back to bed. I have two reasons for posting this experience: #1 - a good example of why everyone should travel with an emergency radio. #2 - that maybe the RV Park management might provide an advisory note to all their visitors that there is a community emergency siren located just across the street from this RV park and in the event it should sound an alarm regarding an emergency affecting the campground, Park Management or local officials will inform campground visitors of the situation - otherwise, don't be alarmed. We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

For a nice walk (about 4 miles round trip), cross the river at the bridge at the eastern edge of the park on 3rd Street, go right on Little Warm Springs Rd, right on Harrison Road and this will bring you to an open area with a foot bridge across the river to a city park and the Dubois Museum and National Big Horn Sheep Center.

Friendly staff. Typical, gravel sites. Not exactly slide-to-slide but close. Nice landscaping. Long, big-rig pull-thru sites. Nice indoor pool. Smidge on pricy side but they're the only game in town within reasonable access to the Grand Teton National Park. Good family park. Dubois is so small there can't be road noise - not enough cars! We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Dubois, Wyoming. Population about 1,000. No big-chain restaurants. No fast food restaurants. We had dinner at the Cowboy Cafe, a homey, Western, small spot in "downtown." Good service, excellent food (I had the ribs), serving beer and wine. Reasonably priced. Groceries at the Super Foods store. The Grand Teton National Park is about 65 miles away (1.25 hour drive) and is probably the only reason to visit Dubois.

Dubois KOA is located in a very quaint downtown area making it an enjoyable place to stay. The indoor swimming pool was an added bonus and well maintained. Staff was friendly. Ample grassy areas for walking the dog. Had a fenced off-leash area for the 4-legged members of the family. Offered meaningful entertainment at night. A great place to stay and visit. Rate seemed a bit pricey considering gravel and grass campsites. We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, along the river. Sites will accommodate RVs almost any size. A couple blocks to "downtown" Dubois. Good restaurants an easy walk away. Most sites shaded. Awesome indoor pool, clean showers, friendly staff. I definitely would stay again. Started out with 2 days but stayed 4. We camped at Dubois Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.
