This is a great little park that sits on the Wind River. Our 1st site was in the trees and I needed boards to level our trailer. It was long enough and we had room on both sides. We decided to extend our stay but had to change sites so the second site backed up to the river. It was level and had plenty of side space and was more open. Great view! The staff was very nice, helping with info on local attractions, and guiding us to our site. We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly staff. A small park on a river with mountains in the background. Had full hookup site with cable. Nice long pull through. Indoor pool and game room. Small laundry with very reasonable prices. WiFi worked well but we were in the front by the office. Short walk to town. Perfect for a stopover. It was after Labor Day so some stuff in town was closed for the season. We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

Arrived later than I had planned, but had a beautiful site off the river. The power was a bit far from my RV plug so had to back all the way back with my wheels at the edge of the site. Not a problem, but was close. The site was level and the folks there were great. I used their laundry facility which had four washers and two dryers - plenty of room, clean, and in excellent shape. There is a fire station or something nearby so when the alarms go off, they are loud! But otherwise, a great stay! We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Water sites were the best and largest. Narrow spacing but lots of grassy area behind. The sound of the river will lull you to sleep.

We had a large shady P-T with a big deck and lots of nice patio furniture. The site and patio were perfect and very enjoyable. People in tent sites kept trying to cut thru our site on way to pool and we asked each one of them to please go around our site. They all looked at us like we had asked them to do the impossible!! One of them was ready to confront us but his wife/girlfriend calmed him down. Young man that checked us in was very nice and escorted us to site. We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Easy access to US26. Small dog park but had grass and provided bags. Wi fi and showers were good. Indoor pool and laundry looked good but did not use. Last minute stay on a Friday night of Memorial Day weekend, and they were able to accommodate. Staff were great. Very beautiful park and location. We all wish we had more time in the area, but we were headed to the Tetons and Yellowstone. Restrooms were very nice and clean. Play area for kids/teens was one of the better ones I've seen at a campground. Walking distance to restaurants is nice for us, since we don't tow a vehicle. We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

We are currently staying at this park. We love it and will mark it as one of our favorites! The park is beautifully maintained. The staff are exceptional! The only thing I might suggest is an exercise room. We give them a 10!!!If ever coming back to this area we will absolutely come back her and recommend it to all our RV friends! The online pictures do not give this place justice! We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

This park is super clean. Nice big indoor heated pool and also game room. Laundry room is small but very clean. Our site was by the river which pretty cool. The only negative is we were too close to the neighbors sewer hookup. Otherwise Definitely recommend this KOA! We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Location, location, location. I've paid a lot less at Koa's for a lot more. Roads and sites were mostly dirt with a little gravel. We were in a pull through that was tight getting out (tree limbs) but we made it. Our site seemed to be the only one with that problem and of course we were surrounded by much smaller RV's that would not have had the problem we did. You can't see the river unless you walk thru someone else's site or there happens to be an empty site that's on the river. With all that said, it's right in town and easy walking distance to tourist attractions. Patio "area" dirt and gravel. We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cowboy Cafe was good for lunch. We walked into Rustic Pine Saloon and were the only ones there and two employees were too busy talking with each other to even greet us, so we left. Two Mom's Bakery was outstanding! Bought some Sour Dough bread and cinnamon rolls which were excellent. They are right on the river with a nice sitting area. If they aren't already selling wine I'd take a bottle of wine, buy the bread and sit on their deck on the river.

A day's drive from Yellowstone, this is a busy park during the summer season. We were escorted to our site and mistaking our rig for a rental, the kind gentleman even came back and added a water regulator to our hose connection. (Not sure we needed one, but it was very nice of him to go the extra mile). The park backs up to the Wind River. It was clean, the hookups were convenient. There is an indoor pool & game room for the kids. The layout was a little funky and there was quite of bit of cutting thru sites to get to the main building. Shops & restaurants within walking distance. Great pie at the Cowboy Cafe! We would certainly return if in the area again. We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground right on the Wind River. We paid extra for a deluxe patio site and it included a deck and patio table and chairs. Good amount of space. There is a mix of tents, cabins, and RVs that are all laid out nicely. Our only complaint is that the cable wasn't working on our site. We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Motorhome.

Used KOA points to get $25 discount on price. Wanted to stay 2 nights but they were closing for season the next day. One of the cleanest and spacious KOA'S we have stayed in. Owner was great and friendly. Escorted to long site. Services perfectly placed. Other guests friendly and eager to share travel experiences. So much fun. Will make sure to stay here again. This is an A+ park! Our site was just a few feet from the clear (and cold!) Wind River which was amazingly relaxing. The staff was friendly, the park was spotless, and the facilities (including indoor swimming pool, game room with ping pong, pool, and some arcade games) were first rate. The showers and bathrooms were exceptionally clean.

We had cell coverage (AT&T) with data (only 3G) in Dubois, but the park had wifi which worked most of the time. Ice, firewood, and laundromat were all available at fair prices.

We only stayed one night, in site #33, and were sad to go because it was so nice. It makes an excellent stop for those heading to Grand Teton NP from the east. We highly recommend this park and look forward to returning for a more extended stay. We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We had a pull-through site with no cable TV. The cable only had 12 stations so we weren't missing much. Some of the back-in sites backed up to the Wind River, which was pretty. And it's obvious how the river got its name: the area is quite windy. We were advised not to leave our awning up.

The wifi at this campground didn't work very well, either. When we mentioned it to the manager, we were told that it should work fine because we were close to the wifi antenna. Interesting but not very helpful. The campground is walking distance from the small shopping district which has some nice restaurants and galleries. I guess the price reflects accessibility to Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks, though it is more than an hour's drive to both. We camped at Dubois / Wind River KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
