1 Park near Evanston, Wyoming
Aug 2015 - $30.00
Park is big rig friendly with easy access. Most sites are pull throughs. Our site was level and we didn't see many others using blocks. Verizon data coverage was good. Park internet typical, we couldn't connect at all to the nearest router. Once connected to router furthest away, it was slow and dropping. There were a lot of trains overnight, but we weren't bothered by them. Of the many trains, we only heard the horn blow once. Not all sites have cable. We were told the site next to us had a splitter, but it was too far away for our cable to reach. Could hear some highway noise from I-80. If you're noise sensitive, this might not be the place for you, but there aren't a lot of other options. Laundry room was clean, with 5 washers and three dryers. We didn't check out the restrooms or showers. Evanston is a rather small town, but there are a few restaurants, several fast food joints, and a Walmart. The park offers a 10% Good Sam discount. - Guinness

This is the second time we stayed here. We had a long pull thru with full hookups and cable T V. It was way in back so absolutely no road noise but a train does run by in back. Nice older park with family owned staff. Nice level site. - signaloil

Gravel spaces, weeds and a picnic table. Easy on/off Interstate.
Long freight trains run all night, add in Interstate truck noise and full time residents that leave for work at 4 am. Needless to say, no sleep. Look elsewhere for an overnight stay. - Redbird One
