Mostly pullthrus. Dirt with some gravel inside roads. Site pretty close. Table with a little grass. Lots of trees. Very very noisy. There are not many choices in this area. We would stay here again. Grassy area we were in an end site so our neighbors were not so close. There is a basic playground for the children. Horseshoes. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Motorhome.

I email and made reservations more than a month in advance. I was told and I am quoting the exact email: "The cost for this site will be $37.75 plus tax. We give a 10% discount for AAA, Good Sam or Military, just present your card at the time of check-in. Or we offer a 20% discount if you pay cash." I didn't receive the 20% discount even though I went back in and asked after checking my email again. I feel while this might have been an oversight in the way it was explained by the owner to me by email but feel they were misleading to get my business.

I reserved a spot well over a months period, but was put on a grass spot rather than a decent gravel spot. There was some activities with noise until about 9 p.m. but was a weekend and probably weekend related. Owner needs to be more specific about the cash discount as it sounds like you get a 20% discount if you pay cash. It is only 20% if you pay cash and use a AAA, Good Sam or Military. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here without notice and arrived just in time before staff left. Very nice park, good bathroom/shower and it didn't seem that there were any locals living in the park, only traveling patrons. Fine establishment, even though the area outside the park looks rough. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Easy to find and easy to park your RV. Sites have trees (they are well maintained and don't interfere with your slide outs). Electrical and water pressure is good. Bathrooms are VERY clean. Entire park is well maintained. No fenced dog area but nice green space for walking. GOOD WiFi. Restaurants within walking distance. A train passes close to the back of park so look for a space in the front. Don't expect a friendly welcome, there is a note at the office that instructed you to find a space and pay at the office after 3. Didn't bother us. Was better than having a spot we didn't like. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

You really get the camping feel here! Lots of trees and grass. However it is close to the freeway & closer to the railroad tracks. What the hay....I wear earplugs to bed! First time here, would probably stay again if needed. Roads and sites are gravel & dirt with a fair amount of grass. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a nice, family owned and run park, not far off the interstate which of course, is both good and bad. The county road coming in is REALLY rough but that's not the park's fault. Naturally being this close to the freeway, there is a bit of noise but the AC fan covers it nicely. The park is clean and well maintained. Roads and sites are gravel. Laundry is clean and well maintained. Office staff was pleasant and helpful. There was a cable connection at our site but when I asked why only three channels, he said that site doesn't have cable. No biggie but if that's important to you, ask first. Overall, not a bad place to stop and I would certainly stay here again. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Motorhome.

Level gravel site, good space between sites with grass, good satellite reception, good Internet and cell service, quiet, safe, friendly office staff, good value for price. Good overnight spot when heading south from Grand Teton / Yellowstone to I-80. Would stay here again. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a small park (56 sites). Easy on/off Highway 80. Gravel interior roads, long gravel sites - numerous sites long enough for our 40' rig plus tow. Sites are wide, most have trees. Playground for kids. Easy to maneuver through the park, although trees need some trimming. Highway and train noise but not bothersome to us. The office doesn't open until 3:00 PM so you're invited to drive in and choose a site; then pay when someone is in the office. We called ahead for a reservation but it seemed unnecessary since we arrived at 1:30 and chose our own site. Would definitely stay here again when passing through. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is not a big rig friendly park The park was nice and shady but had to back my 45' fifth wheel out of spot due to low hanging tree branches. Corner turns were tight. Next to railroad tracks so if that bothers you be forewarned. Close to interstate If I had a smaller rig this would be a nice place to stay. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

April 22 Evanston, WY $38 with full hookups and Good Sam discount Phillips RV Park in Evanston is right off route 80 so it is an easy on and off for an overnight. We stayed here one night and it was a good stay. This is a small campground with about 30 sites. Full hookups also means cable. Easy checkin. There was a playground, horseshoes, dumpster and a bathhouse with showers. You can hear the trains and the highway but that seems to be standard for campgrounds along route 80. It is the only campground in town. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Phillip's for one night only but would like to return and spend more time. The park was partially closed due to the time of year, bathrooms were closed and water was available on one row of sites. We did not have reservations and were able to pull in and set up easily. We talked to the owner and he was very engaging and friendly. Trains and. Traffic did not bother us as most RV parks have the same issue. Restaurants were close, gas was closer, freeway close - the RV'ers trifecta. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

pretty much the only show in town. family owned but not friendly at check-in. wanted to be toward the front and use both dish and cable tv. were told in an abrupt way that we needed to make a choice as no cable there. cable channels limited and some did not come in well. close to river walk that has exercise stations. would make plans to bypass Evanston in the future.
