Basic park upkeep is absent. Nothing is green and it's all turned to weeds and the restrooms were nasty. Trash can in the restroom was over flowing and paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor. Looks like it'd been at least a day or more since anybody from the RV Park had taken a walk through the rest rooms. Large bags of building insulation were stacked up and leaning against the fence.....looked like they'd been there for quite awhile. Not some place we'd ever go back, but we did meet some very nice fellow campers there that we are staying in touch with. Pet fee of $2 for each of our two dogs. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

First of all don't be fooled by the website photos. They are from the long term campers section of the park. That area is down in a valley out of the wicked wind and noise from the freeway. Overnighters are up on a hill about 500 feet from I-80,needless to say, constant traffic noise. 15 of the 34 sites are small maybe good enough for tenters or pop up trailers. I guess at one time the utilities were upgraded but when the lines were run through the sites the asphalt pads were never repaired properly, just filled in with gravel. Outside your door is nothing but gravel and weeds in between sites. The wifi and cable channels are good as are the newer, modern restrooms and showers. The campground was quite full only because of an Airstream caravan passing through,if it wasn't for them there was only 2 others here. Next time we pass through we probably would stay again as we know what to expect. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an off-the-beaten-path campground in the tiny town of Jamestown. The big attraction here is access to the Green River. Although it was a bit of a walk to get to the river (and steep uphill going back), we loved the site in general. Mile-long freight trains seemed to go by all the time, but we did not hear them at the site. The staff was friendly. There are some full-timers here but they are in a separate area. Everything worked. I would go back here if in the area. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Motorhome.

Alright for a night, close to I-80. Very steep climb and curve to get to site. RV need to be a mountain goat. Cell was great. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Motorhome.

Section E was on a hill with RR tracks on the back side of the RV. We had no problem with any noise. On last day there the wind was very strong, however it died down after dark. Power level was good. We would definitely come back. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Motorhome.

We had read about the pull through hill which is close to the office so we pulled up a bit short to register. The girl in the office was very helpful, I had left my water hose at the last RV camp and she found me one to buy. Each time I called, she was very professional and courteous. Pull through was a bit tight but doable. All hook ups worked great. Wifi iffy but useable. Level asphalt space. Will stay there when we go that way again. Worth the price. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Truck Camper.

I stayed one night at travel camp, I was put in the upper section which was very windy and requires a very sharp turn if you pull up to the office, It was very noisey with trains and freeway traffic. I chose not to stay at this park on my way back through. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Good for overnight stay. We stayed in high ground area. It is parallel to the railroad. Heard lots of rail traffic all night long. As other reviewers have noted, lots of cars parked in front of office (must be family/employees). Campground was clean. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Pull-thrus are high on a hill, and geez, was it windy! Every time we opened the RV or tow vehicle door, dirt blew in.

We experienced a similar problem with pulling in too far to check in the office. Had to back up to make the turn up the hill. Lots of cars parked in front of office (locals) so it was difficult to determine where to stop. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

OK for overnight, but seems overpriced. Level pull through site with full hookups. Wi-Fi was spotty. We didn't use any other facilities.

We probably will not plan to stop in Green River again. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

After a VERY long day on the road, we were glad we had reservations here. Nothing great, but it's a good overnight spot. Good services. Verizon air card didn't work well, but it did work. Seemed like we were in the middle of nowhere. Site was neat but trash area was extremely full and messy. If you are a big rig and getting a pull thru, don't pull up too far at the office, as you have to go to the left up the hill to the upper level. We just had to go around the block. Not a big deal. As close as it is to the freeway, it wasn't really noisy. Easy off and on although you have to drive the frontage road. Thought the $1 for pets was odd, but not a big deal. Good overnight stop. Tips for other Campers:

If you're a big rig, don't pull up too far at the office, as you have to go left up the hill to the big rig pull thrus. If you pull too far forward, you can back up (we couldn't as someone pulled in behind us) or go around the block.

Site was perfectly level with shade tree. Cable tv but only works with flat screen tv's. Just far enough off I-80 so no noise. Free WiFi but most of the time it didn't work, if I was even able to find their network. I would think for a park that charges close to $40 they would have good WiFi. Park was very neat and clean. Also they charge $1 extra for pets and the small pet area had lots of feces all around. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Motorhome.

Not sure why this place got such bad reviews. There is noise from the freeway, but there isn't anything scary about the place. Our site was a pull through with a little shade tree. It had full hookups including cable TV. The WiFi works great. We were just there overnight. We camped at The Travel Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Obtained address online but when there was no RV park at that location, called office and was directed to park. When registering, park staff noted that incorrect address was right at the top of the registration form and commented that needed to be corrected. Pros: Level, good width paved pull-throughs, good Wi-Fi, 102 channel cable TV, clean, warm bathrooms with hot water. Fenced dog run. Even though it was the last day of October, water was still on. Cons: No night lighting, some highway and train noise and wind can really gust but all tolerable. Rate was with Good Sam discount We camped at The Travel Camp in a Motorhome.
