This is a small 15 site campground located on one of the several routes to Yellowstone & Grand Teton NPs. It shaded, grassy sites vary in size, but several will accommodate the largest rigs. We stayed in 43' Fifth wheel, towing a Honda CR-V, pulled by a Dodge Ram dually measuring 80'. They have no cable or OTA TV, but there's a Red Box 2 blocks away. It's nice park with have basic full hookup amenities. We camped at Campbell's Green Oasis Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is actually about 1 acre that the owner turned into an RV Park?

I was woken this morning by sprinklers. Rotary sprinkler washing my MH. Not happy at all. Both side at places over 8' need my ladder to dry off before water spotting. The water here is really hard, so beware!!!!!!!!

I now have a big mud puddle at my steps, oh joy.

Drive ways are loose rock and dirt. There a dirt road in front of 5 of the sites we were in one of them. Lots of dust from the neighbors using it.

Lots of trees for shade. Forget about Satellite or over the air TV, No cable TV.

The laundry is not on site but across the HWY.

Lots of Train Noise. Horns and coupling and uncoupling of cars.

Hwy noise is not too bad during the night, but still there.

There are better option in the small town.

Good for a one night stop at best. We camped at Campbell's Green Oasis Campground in a Motorhome.

Barnacle Brad, owner at Campbell's Green Oasis Campground responded to this review

Thank you traveler1952 for the insightful, if unflattering, review of the Green Oasis Campground. You are right on the money concerning the size of the campground, however in the past, it was much larger (encompassing the blocks to our immediate South and West). In fact, it was the only campground in Greybull until the arrival of the KOA. I suspect the downsizing of the campground was related to the competition and other economic factors, but yes – we are on a one acre site.

I am very sorry you had a bad experience with our sprinklers. We have taken steps to minimize this issue with our future customers:

First, we have adjusted the sprinkler heads to reduce the radius of the spray patterns and also to limit the distance of the spray. I must say that I think you overstated the impact of the sprinklers reaching 8 feet in height on both sides of your coach, since the rotary sprinklers were only on one side (drivers) of your vehicle. The other side has only simple pop up heads with no movement and the spray elevation barely reaches more than three feet in height.

Secondly, we have brought in material to fill in low areas at the end of the RV sites that tend to collect water. This will address future issues where guests would have otherwise encountered standing water.

I do not know how to address the issue with the laundry location. You are complaining that the campground is too small and yet you wish we would crowd another building into the grounds among the camp sites?

Satellite Reception, Cable TV and WIFI:
Your observation that satellite reception is not possible may pertain to yourself and some others similarly equipped, however we have many guests that are having success getting reception using quality systems with mobility features;
Cable TV has been off the table since the provider has required us to purchase or rent cable boxes for each site. It is not a cost effective option to offer in even a small campground;
You did not complain about the WIFI, so I have to guess that it was adequate, although we do get reviews stating that it (the WIFI) is faster than most.

Greybull is a train town, there is nothing about that, as a business or citizen, I can do anything about.

There may be better option for you, sir, in the town of Greybull, but it is a more expensive option, is it not? I can only guess why you chose the Green Oasis Campground…

My last word to you sir is this – While I appreciate your business and your review, I do not appreciate the words you left on our Facebook Page. Your $35 site fee does not entitle you to leave profane remarks on our Social Media site.

Kindest Regards,

Bradley & Erin Campbell

This campground is not really what we think of when we say "campground". It is a large lot with small full hook up sites very tightly placed to maximize space. Our 40' motor home was about max for this facility. Tight getting in and out with tree limbs in play. We did find this campground to be very quiet, in an interesting little town with a nice walking path immediately adjacent to the grounds that provides a great opportunity for a 3-mile walk through Greybull's main street. All utilities were good but be sure you have a water pressure regulator!! For the pet owners; dogs are not allowed to be "walked" in the park. This was made very clear on check in. BUT, with the walking path and riverbank less than 30 feet from our coach, walking the dog was not an issue. Owners seemed very helpful and proximity to Cody and Yellowstone makes this a worthwhile stop. Big rigs be careful! We camped at Campbell's Green Oasis Campground in a Motorhome.

Convenient campground when traveling between Yellowstone and Devils Tower. Stopped at Buffalo Bill Wild West Museum on the way to campground. Great presentation of Wild West history. Should have planned more than 3 hours - so much to see. This campground was clean, sites level, and easy pull thru. Owner very nice. That's the good. The negative include no bathroom or shower facility this year. They are building a new facility but did not mention this when the reservation was made. There is some type of industry nearby and the noise was constant and loud. Sounded like large trucks loading and I noticed a cement processing plant when I left town. I would look for another location if passing through this part of the country but would stay if I needed a place to try and sleep. The owners can not control outside noises in all fairness to them. Just be aware the noise is there. We camped at Campbell's Green Oasis Campground in a Motorhome.

Stopped here on the way to Yellowstone from Devil's Tower, it was about halfway. Their name says it all, Green oasis. It is just the place we needed for the night, a welcoming owner, a clean level site and only a block from rt 16, but still pretty quiet. We will stop here again if traveling through. We camped at Campbell's Green Oasis Campground in a Motorhome.

We only stayed here one night but I wish we had a few more nights to stay. The was the nicest campground out of the 8 we stayed at during our vacation. Very clean bathrooms and showers. The owners were incredibly friendly. The layout of the campground was great for quick in and quick out for over nighters. We camped at Campbell's Green Oasis Campground in a Tent Trailer.
