2 RV Parks near Kaycee, Wyoming
Jul 2018 - $30.00
Had my pick of three available pull through 30 amp FHU sites. The other seven sites were being upgraded with new power pedestals and water lines. This is mostly a hunting camp with cabins and 10 RV sites. You can bring your own horse. Good stop for the night between Buffalo and Casper. We plan to stop again and stay a few days to visit the museum and other attractions in the area, - campingdog
May 2017 - $25.00
We stayed here for night as a convenient stop right off I-25. We were greeted by the friendly owners who were playing in the yard of the house at the back of the park. They directed us to the end pull-through site so we could easily get in and out without unhooking. The site was fairly level and the utilities all worked. This is a basic overnight stop that was quiet and convenient. - Bay Area Early retirees
Oct 2013 - $25.00
We stayed here in a 23' travel trailer during a hunting trip. Easy access to all roads in and out of town. Owners are very friendly and helpful. They do not have restrooms or showers, but if you want to take a shower they own the another park and you can use that facility. They have a wonderful garage in the back that you can use to process your meat and even let you use their freezer to store the meat. Perfect spot for hunters! Power went off in Kaycee while we were there and they offered to let us stay in their house to keep warm! Only down side is the Wi-Fi does not have good coverage, but cell phone (T-mobile) was excellent, so we just used that instead. - CaTrekker
May 2018 - $20.00
Rate was for a 50 amp full hookup pull-thru site with a Passport America discount. This is a very basic campground adjacent to the local river. Access from highway 196 is very easy. The edge of the park near the river is sandbagged so I would be wary of this park during an extended or heavy rain. Checkin is self service (check or cash only). A young man came around in the early evening hours to collect payment. He then came back later as we had made the check out to the park name as there were no other directions at the self check in building. He needed the check made out to KCRV. Though this is a very basic park, all dirt roadway and site surface, it was dry during our night's stay and would certainly work for an overnight stop. - Johnson's
Aug 2017 - $15.00
Great place to stay while visiting the area. Great hostess, wifi worked pretty good, easy in easy out. Close to everything in town. Great place to use as a base for touring the area. Would stay here again. - ChiefUSN
Apr 2017 - $25.00
Our rate reflected a discount. The two RV parks in town are owned by the same family, so they kind of have a monopoly going. This one is a small gravel/dirt lot with trees around the periphery. Might be a little muddy if it rains. Our pull-through was large and long and the utilities worked well. We were the only ones in the place, so the wifi was good enough to stream. Restrooms/showers were dated, but clean. The laundry room was also clean. Staff was pleasant. I would make an overnight stop here again. - ALbums
