Water was shut off for the season, so I presume price reflects winter rate. OK. Just OK, nothing special, nothing terrible. Gravel lot with hookups within sight (and sound) of the freeway. Best signage for finding the place I've ever seen. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this KOA 2 years ago and they have not made any improvements to the roads and sites. They really need to add gravel ad grade the roads better. Both times, we were there when they were having rain each day and the roads get very wet as well as some areas of the sites. To be fair, we have a large diesel pusher and did not come close to being bogged down in mud and the site we were in stayed dry in most places. We just wish they would put some money into the grading and graveling of the roads, and would add more gravel to the sites. We stayed in the row of sites that are closest to the highway. These are the longest sites. We could park the car behind the RV. The highway noise did not bother us. The roads are wide and the sites are easy to get in and out of. There is a nice but small fenced dog area. Nearby, you can access a path that goes along the river. The sites are pretty close together. The people at the front desk are very nice. The wifi was unusable but they said they would be getting a new system in a few weeks that is supposed to allow you to stream movies. Yes, we would come back since we think it is the best place to stay in Laramie. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Motorhome.

We needed an overnight spot, and did not want to stop at Walmart. This campground is a typical KOA. Close tight spots, gravel sites with no grass. The restrooms and showers were very clean, so that was worth the price. The site was long enough for our 34' travel trailer and our tow so we did not have to unhook. That was a plus. Also a plus was that all of the sites are pull thru sites. We will stay here again on our way back to Florida. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Travel Trailer.

First, we are not fans of KOAs in general. They are cramped and overpriced and this one is no different. But this one was not quite as bad as others. There is no grass anywhere in the park and sites are tight. The first site we were given was taken so we asked to be placed in another spot and they accommodated us. I am not sure why I am giving this a '6' and not a '5', other than the fact that they gave us a rate less than the $50 that KOAs typically steal from you, and we have been in ones where spots are even closer together. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a typical KOA. Cramped narrow sites. My neighbors are sitting next to my sewer hook up. This isn't camping. They have a dog park, one reason we stop at these places. Here they had no bags for waste. They had a shovel and rake leaning against the fence for users to pick up after their dog. Consequently, the dog park was full of dog feces. Also dog feces was in the road and along fence lines. That is disgusting. We clean up after our dogs. The utilities were top notch. I have no complaints there. This is little more than a high priced parking lot. Who uses game rooms etc when you can't roast a hotdog at your site? We camped at Laramie KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is a typical 'pull off the highway for the night' type campground. Gravel roads, gravel sites, scruffy grass between sites. Lots of mosquitoes this time of year. Dog park was adequate - clean, accessible, poop bags available. Laundry room was larger than expected with 8 washers/8 dryers and all but one in working order. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They helped us to choose a site with few trees so we could use our satellite dish. Full hookups were good. Cable TV. WiFi not good in our site 97. Would stay again if passing through. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Motorhome.

I've been to many KOAs, some VERY good and some good but never one as bad as this one. First time I will actually never return or recommend. Sites are VERY small; your picnic table is literally underneath your neighbors windows, the rest of the small site it taken up with poles, neighbors water, cable(?) hook-ups as well as some other large unknown box. The sites, while grass, are in desperate need of some TLC. Walked my dog and surprised at how many cigarette butts we seen scattered around. Yes, the bathrooms are clean (dated), staff pleasant enough. But there are no amenities, especially for the same price I've paid for a REALLY NICE KOA. Another issue is the proximity to the interstate - I typically am not too bothered by road / train noise but you do hear semis and engine brakes all day/night and, again, for the condition, location and lack of amenities, the price is outrageous. The last comment - I don't believe all of the 5-star ratings on the KOA site - If you look, there is typically a poor review followed by 5-6 5-star ratings which have very little content - Not valid in my opinion..... We camped at Laramie KOA in a Motorhome.

. April 20,21 Laramie, WY KOA $26.17 full hookups plus cable This campground is located right off route 80 in Laramie, WY. There are 116 sites plus tent sites and some cabins. We stopped here for one night but needed to stay two because of a storm that came through and parts of route 80 closed. At this time of year water is still turned off but they have water to fill your tanks at the office. Each site has a grill and picnic table . Laundry and shower facilities were clean and located right next to the office. There is a pet run in the campground. The young man at the office was very nice and informative. It is next to a mobile home park and seemed to have seasonal workers staying here. It was a good overnight stop. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Motorhome.

Narrow sites & I-80 traffic road noise We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. Did get close to restroom/showers ~ right across the road. PROS: Restroom/showers are newer modern look w/full on tiled walls/floors. Good water pressure & hot. Shower stalls are private combined w/changing area a little small but still ok in size w/bench for seating and hooks for clothes/towel. Appreciate the paper towels for clean-up of area after use, some campgrounds have only air dryers. CONS: need rubber floor mat in changing area when exiting shower, a small shelf would be nice for your stuff/ need hooks and shelves at shared sink area all for conveniences that many campgrounds forget. CONS: all sites are narrow and close together / tight and narrow greenspace barley enough room to use the picnic table / packed in like a can of sardines forget about any reasonable privacy and of course the constant traffic road noise from I-80 is ongoing all night long so typical of many KOA's. Never could understand why they want to build them so close and in view of the interstate. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The reason I am giving this park a poor review is that they assigned us a site which we paid for in advance and then told us to move because they were going to turn off the water to the site. We stayed there because we were attending a wedding and had notified them of this when we booked the site. We had to ask them to please leave the water on so we could shower and then later that day they turned it off anyway. Not very nice way to treat their customers. Won't stay here again. If they had just given us a site where they planned on leaving the water on, everything would have been fine. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here overnight. First site was too tight and short but the office staff was great and relocated me to a larger site. Down side is the highway is close and noisy 24/7. Not a lot of appeal and the sites are close, so no privacy. Easy in and out to the highway. Nice concrete sewer spill pad, but it was sloped so deep you couldn't attach the drain hose with a threaded connection. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overnight stop on I-80. Site was level but more dirt than gravel. One of our neighbors arrived very late and was so close our slides were less than three feet apart and our water hook-up was only 18 inches from his steps. In addition, his combined trailer and truck were too long for the site and he was halfway into the road and he parked and left. In the morning when we were leaving a crowd gathered to watch us try to get out of our site. Wi-fi is non-existent. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Motorhome.
