We planned to stop here overnight. This is a National Forest Campground just off I-80 between Cheyenne and Laramie Wyoming. We had backed into the the only available site left, just at dark when the Camp "Host" (volunteer) asked us to leave as she said someone had already 'reserved' that site by sticking a piece of paper on the post where you clip your stub after filling out your vehicle information and dropping the $10 fee in a locked box. You CANNOT Reserve Nat Forest Campsites, and she did not know who the people were or if they had even paid, but still insisted that the site was spoken for and that we move. We were upset and left, BEWARE overzealous "Camp Hosts" in National Forest Campgrounds! Although pretty scenery, no hookups and you could still hear the noise from the interstate. We camped at Vedauwoo Campground Nat Forest in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
