This RV park is the cleanest park I have ever been to anywhere. Sites are very well laid out and the owner will take you right to the site and then ensure you are level. Sites are level, all f/u and come with a picnic table with a small roof over each one. The owner is extremely nice, hospital and very, very interesting. You will see some very interesting items in the office and she has some great stories to tell. When you go into the bathrooms you will be blown away by the cleanliness and then be blown away even more by how they are decorated. Each site has 30 and 50 amp and cable TV. Driveway and sites are all gravel and very level. Good internet as well. We camped at BJ's Campground in a Motorhome.

Owner was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Sites were packed gravel, grass in between sites, concretete pads with covered picnic tables. We only stayed one night. She even waved us goodbye and wished us happy travels. We camped at BJ's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The owner was a great host. She keeps a well maintained and immaculate campground. The rest rooms and showers were decorated with all kinds of little signs and sweet touches. We camped at BJ's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Lusk, WY, is not a major destination and this campground isn't flashy but if you find a reason to pass through Lusk and stop over at BJ's, you should do so. As for Lusk, it has an interesting history and a nice museum. BJ's is special because of its owner. She will make you feel welcome and lead you to a nice pull-thru site. The driveways and site pads are gravel with grass strips in between. There is a picnic table underneath a cover. We had a full hookup pull-thru with 50amp electric. There is free WiFi which we found to be reliable. There's a city park across the street so if you have kids they have a place to explore. The restrooms are super clean and are the most appealing we have seen anywhere. The owner has made them feel "homey" with reading material, notepads, paper cups and lots of decoration. The owner is very charming and fun to visit with. If you're passing through western Wyoming, stop in at BJ's Campground. We paid $45.78 per night. We camped at BJ's Campground in a Motorhome.

Located three blocks off Main Street, BJ's Campground provides an excellent staging area for a Black Hills Vacation. Full Hookups (including both WiFi and Cable TV) exist at every site - with almost every location providing 'pull-thru' access. Boasting some of the least expensive laundry charges any place we've ever stayed, the owners make you feel like part of their family from the moment you arrive. Have an issue with your rig? No problem. The park's resident mechanic and all around ambassador of goodwill - has the knowledge, skills and experience to get you back on the road as soon as possible. The City Park sits directly across a neighborhood street from the campground - complete with playground, charcoal grills and ramadas. Restaurants, bars and convenience stores all are within 3 blocks of this establish. With 80% of the campsites belonging to short timers, the campground does have a few longer term residents. Should one need to stay longer, the two owners are happy to accommodate. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. In fact, we returned a week later after our original stay. We plan to make it a regular stop from now on. We camped at BJ's Campground in a Motorhome.

Really nice little well kept park. Owner is very attentive and lives next to the park so she will check you in anytime as long as she is home. WiFi was excellent strength. Cellular reception is good. Many cable channels. Full hookups every site and many pull through sites. Very quiet and in a residential area. Many good restaurants and groceries, hardware within walking distance. BJ's Campground is a convenient camp on your way to the Black Hills. It has 25 or so campsites that are full hookup, level, and spacious. We were met by the owner who escorted us to the site and directed us in. It was raining then and she did not have to do that. She also came by later in the day, still raining, with menus 0f some of the restaurants in town. She said maybe the Wifi would not be so good at our site, but it was excellent. The owner went out of her way to provide us great service. I thought the campgrounds were really good and will stay there again. We camped at BJ's Campground in a Motorhome.

We discovered this gem-of-a-park 2 years ago and have stayed there 3 times. Park is in a quiet neighborhood just off the main street. The owner is extremely friendly, personally welcomes each camper, directs you to a site, helps you hook up and then offers any info you need on dining or the town. The train previously mentioned is at a distance and never bothers us. The last two times we visited we discovered a great place to eat that delivers hot pizza and great salad to the CG - a bonus when you are not unhooking your car or truck. This is our must-stop when traveling to/from the Black Hills of South Dakota. We camped at BJ's Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park but too expensive for what it is. Not a big fan of being on the street with no privacy. Also there is a train that you can hear late at night. Big rig friendly with level sites. Wifi and showers were good. No dog park but park across street to walk dog. Cable was good with over 50 channels. Owner was very friendly, helpful with things to do in the area, and kept the campground looking great. We camped at BJ's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice place to stay in Lusk or anyplace in Wyoming. As we drove down the residential street to get to the park I noticed a lady standing in the middle of the road waving to signal that we were going in the correct direction. That lady is the very pleasant upbeat owner of the park. She escorted us to our camp site, and upon grounding the jacks she was there to help hook up the electrical and water. When we got all settled we met her at the office to do the paperwork and take payment. Then she directed us to a great restaurant in town and also to the best lawn to walk the dog. I was so exhausted that the next morning when my wife inquired about checkout time she told us "whenever you leave." This lady knows customer service. Thanks for your hospitality. I hope your park is full every night with good people. We camped at BJ's Campground in a Motorhome.

Ditto what everyone else has been saying. We, as well, only overnighted, had a little difficulty finding the park, as it is small and in a residential area. There are just a few sites, but level, gravel pull-throughs with a nice little grassy strip on each side and a very nice park right across the street. The owner/host could not have been nicer or more helpful, giving us lots of information, brochures and advise on our trip to Mt. Rushmore and South Dakota. As half of the sites are pull-through, we did not have to disconnect, which was nice, as we just got up in the morning and took off. A very pleasant overnight experience. Cute little park right in the middle of a neighborhood with a park across the street. The park is separated in half by 9th street. If you want good wifi you must be close to the office, we are across the street and cannot get much of a signal. Utilities work well. Neighborhood is quiet and quaint. Make sure you come in on 9th and not 10th (as google will try and insist) We camped at BJ's Campground in a Motorhome.
