Our only complaint about the lots is there is a pole (short log type poll) between each lot to separate which makes it hard to maneuver with our toad (we have a car on a dolly) to get out. We did it, but it would be easier without the pole. I do not find the lots small, they are average and in fact many were wider and shorter and we had to put our car/dolly to the side. This one fits them one behind the other with the car off the dolly.

We are used to the garbage being by the office as a lot of places we have been have that. We don't care about their pool, showers or bathroom. We understand why they have gravel lots as drainage, many places we have stayed were grass, this is better.

Only RV Park I have been to that has a bar, but we haven't tried it yet. Water pressure is 45, much better than many other places I have stayed. WiFi is also much better than many places I have stayed, and they weren't cheap places; they cost more than this and didn't have a beautiful view of the Tetons like this does.

I don't see why so many negative reviews, I was happy to get this with 6 weeks notice when you usually need 6 months or more for this area. Many places around here won't accept a class A with a toad, this one does. We fit our 40 foot RV, car dolly and toad off the car dolly in front of the RV with room to spare.

If you are looking for great showers/restrooms/pool, I can't review that as we could have cared less about any of that. We agree with people who say you should only have to pay a deposit, not the whole amount ahead of time, although we put it on a debit card and they couldn't charge it until we actually came here and signed, which you have to do before you move onto your lot.

The roads within the site could be wider, the sites are adequate, there is about 15 feet on either side between RVs, we don't think that is so bad. The roads within the site could be wider. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

I don't think this Campground deserves the bad ratings it's received. Space between rigs was adequate. The maintenance guys were always around, friendly, and willing to help. We were escorted to our sites. My friend traveling with us had major truck issues requiring towing 100 miles to Afton. The office accomidated us by extending our stay through Labor Day weekend by moving people coming in so we wouldn't need to move. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is expensive but that is the price you pay to be in an area with this much beauty, we had a pull through site with breathtaking views of the Tetons at sunrise. All the facilities (laundry, showers, trash and office) were convenient but didn't take away from the views. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

This is a below average park that takes advantage of being in an amazingly beautiful area with a high demand for camping spots, thus the unreasonably high price. The park offers no amenities to speak of, the spots are tight mostly level gravel. Unfortunately, there just aren't a lot of options in the area that will fit our 42 foot fifth wheel. We would stay again for the area, not for the park. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

This is not an easy review to write. As you can see, most people rate this park as "Terrible". I would not agree with terrible but would heartily endorse "POOR". Here's why; I was in what was called a "premium" site. The sites are very close together and in a number of cases, mine included, when it came time to leave, it was so crowded that I and many others had to back out. We could not connect our toad and take advantage of the pull through site we were in. The park appears as if it receives NO maintenance. The grass is not mowed, the water supply is a black plastic pipe sticking up out of the ground next to what used to be the "permanent" water supply connections. Power, water and sewer worked acceptably. The park advertises WiFi but when we checked in, the young lady said, "don't expect it to work". In the week I was there I was able to connect and download email one time. I downloaded 6 messages in 10 minutes. There is a canal filled with stagnant water that probably contributes to the abundant mosquitoes that frequent the park. The park advertises that it has a view of the Tetons but many of the sites are situated so that the "view" is behind your coach. What's up with that? It could have easily been arranged so that most all of the sites, particularly the PREMIUM site have a view. The only dumpster is up by the bar/filling station. There is no on-site trash pickup. As for being convenient to the Tetons and Yellowstone, the park is 6 miles from the Moran entrance to the Teton National Park. However, be aware that it is a full 75 miles from Old Faithful. It appears that they have spent their effort to make the bar and the filling station appealing and to a degree, they have been successful. If the fee to stay here was $25.00, I'd say it was worth the drive to the attractions. At over $75.00 a night (+tax), it's an extremely POOR value. Jackson is an interesting "touristy" town. I'd look around there or West Yellowstone for a campsite next time. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

Very over priced for the quality offered. Website very misleading. Although the view and area are spectacular, it doesn't makeup for what this campground has to offer. Our camp site was very small only allowing just enough room for our slideouts. Felt we had to apologize to the campers next to us as we encroached on their site. Very low water pressure and we had to accommodate the attendants as they insisted on mowing our site while we were still set up. Had to move our hose and electrical lines to keep them from being damaged. No shade and sites very unlevel. Most definitely not worth the priced asked. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Travel Trailer.

They allow dogs but are not "dog friendly". The management has no concept of customer service and is not accommodating. Very expensive for the amenities. Great location, close to Jackson hole, Teton village and moose but you cannot even step out of your trailer without your dog on a leash. I would never stay here again. We chose this campground because it is right outside the Moran entrance to Grand Teton National Park. We thought (erroneously) that if we arrived in the park in the afternoon, we would not get a site in the first come, first served campgrounds. The campground is basically a gravel parking lot with a little space between sites. There are full hook ups, and you can see the Teton Range to the west. The bath house nearest our site had a sliding barn door entrance that couldn't be opened or closed from the inside. The lights in the shower stalls are on a timer and went out while we were showering. It's very dark when that happens, and you have to feel around for the switch. The showers and bathrooms were clean. After we got set up, we drove into the park and found several sites in the Signal Mt. Campground where we should have gone first. I recommend going into the park and looking for a site before returning to this place and paying the exorbitant fee. There were plenty of empty sites, so I think you could nearly always get in. Busy summer week-ends might be the exception. We were there in late August. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Travel Trailer.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This is a $25 campground that charges $115. This is as far from a resort as you can get. No swimming pool it's dry and has been out of service for six years. A 1 ½ drive drive to Jackson Wyoming. You must drive to the office to dump your trash. You must pay 100% of the balance upfront because if you didn't you would leave after you got here. Cancellations must be made 14 days in advance to avoid a50% penalty and then you pay a $25 fee. Close gravel sites with picnic table. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

Only good thing about this park is the location. It is between the Tetons and Yellowstone. The sites are uneven and lots of pot holes. There was a huge hole next to the picnic table and we had to move the table to cover it. Very hard to walk especially for elderly. There are 3 separate parks and the only trash bin is located by the office. I would not recommend staying here. There are too many other parks in the area. Basically a glorified gravel parking lot. The spaces were close together. I stopped using their bathrooms after the 3rd one I tried to use was clogged and/or wouldn't flush. Facilities look run down. The mosquitos swarm in the evening so watch out. We only stayed here because it was the only place that had anything left over the 4th of July holiday. Proximity to Grand Teton National Park is all we were looking for. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here in spite of the online ratings. The ratings were correct. This is what happens when someone loses interest in their business and does just enough to "keep the lights on". This is tragic since this is one of the most spectacular locations for a park we have seen. It is a shame that they don't sell it to someone who would give it the love it deserves and make it the special place it could be. So if you are looking for a place to park, with outstanding location to visit Yellowstone, The Tetons and Jackson this is it. If you are looking for a resort then this is clearly not the place for you, because this is in no way a resort. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

Sites were very close.... we only stayed there 2 nights.... both evenings, the mosquitoes came out with a vengence... there were horses in the adjacent field... once the mosquitoes came out, they started running.... they ran until the sun went down until the mosquitoes subsided...felt so bad for the horses.... it is just a glorified field... there are alot of hole in the ground and no designated place for dogs to do their business. the views were great, but not sure even the fantastic views were worth the price.... will stay somewhere else next time....
