3 Parks near Rawlins, Wyoming

We were escorted to our spot, which fit our 38' motorhome and Jeep. Everything worked well. We have our own restrooms and showers and didn't check out the pool. We were tired, and we didn't notice the noise of traffic. We would stay here again. - rvnlinda

This KOA is right on I 80. Traffic noise was extremely loud. Grounds and facilities were clean. Site was level. No cable. Water and electric, back in. Cheapest, closest to highway. Very windy in the morning, could not use outdoor grill or table. - Wyboo
Aug 2015 - $45.00
You have to remember your are in the prairie. Site was level and gravel. Nothing but lumpy prairie grass on the sites. However the entrance has nice lush grass. Very close to the interstate so be prepared for some road noise. - pknr1001

Facility looks like it hasn't been maintained in quite some time. Very trashy and not very safe appearing. Mostly longer term people that work in the refinery stay here, so they aren't looking for anything other than cheap. Small and extremely close sites. Our slide outs almost touched the trailer next to us. No room to part tow vehicle. Water pressure at 90 lbs, so make sure you have a regulator. Would not stay over night here again. Only campground that I made sure everything was locked and secured before we went to bed. - User3454
Sep 2015 - $25.00
How this park gets high ratings is a mystery. The grounds are dirty. There is trash everywhere. Spaces are aesthetically lacking. There is no effort to beautify the area. The dump station is unusable. There was no cable. No wifi. Very disappointing. - Amherst gal
Aug 2015 - $30.00
I was just there overnight. The personnel were very friendly and efficient. The site I stayed in had just been created and was newly plowed dirt. I'm glad it didn't rain! I only hooked up the power. It was adequate for my short stay. - terriegil

Basically a very large gravel parking lot. Nice for stopping for the night, but I wouldn't want to spend any length of time there.
Pros - good cable TV and water pressure, sites were fairly level and pull through.
Cons - The 30 amp breaker kept tripping, may be a problem with their power box. Only grass was in the tenting area (small), sites close together, Internet connection was slow and intermittant. - George48
Sep 2015 - $30.00
Stayed overnight going/coming. Would stay again. Gravel but well kept. Good electric and wifi.
45 ft plus toad. Plenty of room but not big. Very level. Open all winter. - Tetonhawk

1st time we camped here. Usually stay further down the hill but they were full. Easy access from 1-80, clean, all gravel, utilities were fine. More maneuver room than others in Rawlins. Western Hills filled up the night we were there. Camped in a 42 ft rv pulling a Jeep and would stay here again. - rmartin
