OK as an overnighter, not much more. Not the best place to stay with kids - small playground, no pool, game room was a couple board games that we already had on board. And the windbreaks on the patio are there for a reason, this is on a ridge and gets the wind! A bit tight getting out with the park full, but made it without mishap. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.

Open parking lot. Lots of wind. Stones unlovely site. Hot tubs empty. Pool filled with concrete, small shower but clean. Picnic table is falling apart and paint is in need of help. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Small campground and very barren right off the highway. If road noise bothers you, you might want to stay elsewhere. Wifi and cable worked well. Late in the season so not much going on in the campground which was fine since we only had 2 nights. We did have a little trouble getting the camper level and had to use several blocks on one side to accomplish.

Would probably stay again if in the area. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Far enough off the freeway that the noise was low, but not so far as to be hard to access.

The staff was helpful, but they only do so much.

Typical KOA (and that's not a recommendation)

We might stay here again, but probably would try someplace else. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent the night-checkin was fast and easy. The took us to our site, which was pretty easy cause very few rigs were parked. The next morning it was packed! I got out only because the trailer across from us left before us. Level gravel pads with a cement patio with a table & 2 sided wind break which was very helpful cause it was WINDY! Nice laundry, open 24 hrs. Ok for an overnighter. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.

Park is an easy on/off from I80 with minimal noise heard. Site was level but there was no plant life except for weeds. Site was long enough that we didn't need to unhitch the tow vehicle. We had to pay extra for a site with a wind barrier and concrete patio. Not something we wanted for a short one night stay. Staff friendly. Internet access requires a code for each device you wish to connect for wifi that is basically unusable. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.

Friendly, helpful staff. Right off interstate 70 and lots of road noise. Sites were long but close to each other. Walmart and City Market nearby. Stayed twice, once headed to Yellowstone and again on return. It was the best option in the area. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.

Easy in and out from I-80 with a truck stop on the other side. All gravel but close to level spots which are mostly pull through. Friendly people and an adequate place to stay for a night. Since oil is a big business in the state there was an aroma of petroleum distillate when the wind was still as if they were downwind from a refinery but there is none. Yes there will be some road noise from I-80 and the frontage road but not enough to travel further for a place to stay. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The office pointed out the many attractions of the Rawlins area. If we had more time perhaps the Mormon hand cart museum would have been worth seeing.

This KOA is right on I 80. Traffic noise was extremely loud. Grounds and facilities were clean. Site was level. No cable. Water and electric, back in. Cheapest, closest to highway. Very windy in the morning, could not use outdoor grill or table. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.

We were escorted to our spot, which fit our 38' motorhome and Jeep. Everything worked well. We have our own restrooms and showers and didn't check out the pool. We were tired, and we didn't notice the noise of traffic. We would stay here again. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.

You have to remember your are in the prairie. Site was level and gravel. Nothing but lumpy prairie grass on the sites. However the entrance has nice lush grass. Very close to the interstate so be prepared for some road noise. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here 1 night while passing through. Easy access to I-80 with minimal noise when outside the RV. We had no road noise while inside. Site was gravel, level pull-thru that was long enough to keep toad hooked. Concrete patio with table and small wooden fence between sites. Lots of cable channels and good WiFi. Clean CG and clean laundry. Friendly staff with escort to site. Playground, splash park (sprinkler), and mini golf for the grandson. We would stay here again when traveling. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed at the Rawlins KOA twice on our way to and from our destination. The campground is sufficient for an overnight stay when you are on your way somewhere else. It is easy to get to from I-80. Neither of the sites we stayed in were remotely level. I doubt any of the sites were. We reserved spots with a windbreak, but didn't get one either night. Both nights we were told we were getting an "upgrade" to a better spot, but yet they gave us partial refunds both nights. They told my husband "the computer picks the site". So, don't take a lot of time choosing a spot ahead of time like I did. The staff was friendly, and the one time I used the restroom, it was clean. Each site has a little weed patch, which is expected in that area of Wyoming. Overall, a satisfactory place to sleep, but not much else. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.

Place close to the freeway (as are the other 2 RV parks here) so you will get freeway traffic noise. WiFi pretty much nonexistent and if you had it - it was only for one computer at a time. They were doing roadwork at the off ramp at the time so it was a little hard to get to. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Pretty standard KOA. Gravel sites and grounds, More expensive than I wanted for just 30 amp and a place to spend the night. Nothing particularly wrong with the place. I'm just stingy when looking for basic campground. WalMart at $0 is a good deal, so I balance the fee I pay against the electric, water, Wi-Fi available at the facilities. I have paid half as much for more features. Would stay here again if I needed a place to stay. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.
