This rv pk was a good pick after a long day on the road. The staff was friendly. It is a gravel parking lot with fair spacing between sites. It was a long level site with FHUs including wifi that worked good. This is exactly what we look for in a park when we travel, with good roads that are easy to maneuver and the park easy to find, close to the interstate. We were not bothered by the noise and fortunately he wind was dying down. In this part of the country there are no trees to block wind . We were in a 40' mh w/toad and did not unhook. We would stay here again if traveling through. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a good park for one night or several. There's easy access off I-80 and plenty of room to maneuver big rigs. Most all sites are pull through and long enough so you don't have to unhitch. We chose a non-cable site; cable sites cost a bit more. The park is all gravel and utilities are good. Verizon cell and MiFi had a strong signal. We weren't bothered by road noise and, fortunately, there was no wind. There is a picnic table at each site. Book exchange is located in the office. We will stay here again. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Campground was very easy to find. Campground is right off highway, so there is quite a bit of road noise. The park was very clean and easy to set up, it was a good overnight stop. This is a standard "parking lot" style campground. Easily handles big rigs. There was room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. The interior roads are gravel in the campground. Each camp site is gravel, with a small patch of grass. Sites are all very level. Each site had a picnic table. The wind was so strong, it was like being sand blasted-however, the campground can't change this. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Long gravel full-hookup 50 Amp pull-thru site with cable. Fair spacing between sites and manager was great to assign every other site for more spaciousness. Electric, sewer, water, cable worked good. WiFi was fast before 6PM and after 9PM. There was a fenced dog park. Restroom and private showers were spotless but water flow will make your RV shower seem like a torrent. Sites had a picnic table. Was pleased that our site was directly adjacent to a streetlight for ease of taking the dogs out after dark but unfortunately either the light was burned out or turned off. No lights near dog park. A little freeway and train noise but not any problem. Rate included cable and was with Good Sam. An additional $3 of tax. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

This was an alright place to stay 1 night. There is a nice view of the mountains, and the comments about being WINDY were not over exagerated. It's basically a big gravel parking lot with utilities. The sites are wide and long and level. There is NO landscaping. Our Dish satellite and Verizon Mifi worked fine. They offer cable for a fee, but free Wifi. We had 2 complaints. Several weeks before, we had made a reservation for 2 nights, but when we got there were informed they were shutting down the water the next day. We opted to only stay the 1 night. Also, noise from the highway (.3 miles away) and train whistles (.6 miles away) were a little bit too much. Not sure if we'll stay here again. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Hang onto yer hat... It gets quite windy here! This place is great for a passin' through stay. The laundry room is very large and plenty of washers and dryers. We have stayed here a couple of times and will again. You will be parking on a combo of clayish dirt mixed with gravel. If its raining you will have a mess to behold. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed for 1 night in our 40' MH with tow car. Not sure if they had just put in new dirt/gravel and it must have rained before we arrived but the roads were a mess and walking in it was a disaster. Sites are wide enough but length is not well defined so it was hard to tell where to park. Cable and wifi worked well. Good for an overnight stay. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

We arrived in a rain storm. Ankle deep puddles and sucking mud. Not great for dog walking. When I did get to the dog park, it was nasty. Lots of poop all over. Other than that, is was an ok overnight. Probably fine when it is dry. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

If you see rain or snow in the forecast don't stay in the undrained sites. This camp is gravel that turns to mud and three inch deep pools of standing water in inclement weather. It was easy in/out, had nice restrooms/showers, nice laundry and good hook ups. My only other complaint would be the side to side closeness of the sites. Nine feet between slides and the picnic table over the other guy's sewer hook up. OK for an overnight stay when the sun is shinning. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is all gravel with no grass and no charm. The sites are of average size and the hook ups are well place, easy access with wide roads. It had rained heavily and lots of big puddles bad drainage. The park is okay for an overnight stay and we would return if in the area. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

We ran out of time to get to our desired location, called and they had an electric only site for us. They have full hook-ups, with or without cable TV as well. Pull thru sites, and they spaced us every other one as folks came in, leaving good room between each rig. Decent wifi. Right off of I-80. One thing to be aware of; this part of Wyoming is a giant wind tunnel, and 40 mph winds are nearly constant. They strongly advise not leaving your awning out. This is on the main road 80 . The traffic noise was constant . This is a parking lot with water and electric hook up . Don't have kids so I did not try out the play area; it is very clean. It's OK for an overnight stay. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

Very clean, well taken care of park. All gravel. Pet area. No trees or plants in campsite area. Sites are well spaced. nearly all are pull-thru's. Has a miniature golf course (think FREE), but not lit, so had to play early a.m. before it got hot. Two little cabins (no kitchen or running water), nice laundry (even has it's own shower)!! Fairly long wait too. Would return to this campground. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.
