We would use again only no other option was available. Park grounds really need a good clean-up and a little water and grass wouldn't hurt. Very hard to find. Garmin was useless. Had to call for directions. Some road noise and lots of barking dogs in the surrounding neighborhood. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mostly long pull through sites with good water quality and good electric. I don't see any playground but they do have a meeting room. Showers cost $. Sites are level, gravel, with a picnic table. No cable and very few OTA TV stations. Verizon was good. Sits in a residential area so I turned left out of the park to walk down to the baseball fields (watch out for sand spurs) and also the recycling center had a road next to it for walking. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We just stayed one night when passing through. As previously reviewed it is "a little rough around the edges" but the sites were not as close together as described - a lot of KOA's are tighter. But because they alternate the directions of pull-through sights your picnic tables are on the same side so it might seem closer. The WiFi is surprisingly good - probably the best I have used. Some long term residents but not a problem except that of course they get up early to go to work and because the roads are gravel it is a little noisy. The nearby road gets noisy about 7 am as people use E Park Ave to get to work. All the utilities worked fine and the restrooms were clean and well kept. The showers are each private rooms but have a cost. The office/store is kinda cluttered. The owner/manager is very nice and welcoming. No cable or air TV but we got DirecTV satellite no problem. Verizon 4G also good. Sept. 2018 Road construction. Can't turn left onto E Park. From the East on Hwy 26/789 you will have to find a way to get turned around or turn right on some other street passed Park and then back to Park. Maybe best to call the park ahead for directions as they open and close local streets. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This place is a bit rough around the edges, but the hookups all worked well. Tight side by side hookups. If you have a neighbor they will be really close, pass the Grey Poupon please. This only happened 2 nights during our 7 night stay. Most sites are long level pull thrus. If you are in a MH, ask for a site that faces away from the storage building. That will keep the afternoon sun off your windshield. The laundry and rest rooms are fairly new and in very good condition. There is road construction in town, so call for directions for best route in. OTA TV was fair with 3 networks. Verizon broadband was very excellent. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice level sites easy to get into....not alot of shade and it was hot but it sure cools down at night.....our services worked great, full hookups and 50 amps which we needed to run both a/c's....the restrooms were very clean and the showers are some of the best you'll ever use in a RV park, each shower has its own private room with a glass enclosure like you would have at home.....plenty of hot water and plenty of room....cell service ATT was good and we used our hotspots since we could not connect to their WiFi....got 15 channels with our antenna....the sites are close but this is a great spot for a stopover on your way to Yellowstone or the Tetons....we used the laundry and it was very nice with a lot of washers and dryers, 1.50 wash and .25 for 10 minutes of drying time.....the retired Navy Captain is very friendly and a great owner we would return if in the area....big rig friendly and easy to get to from the main road..... We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Motorhome.

While an older park, the facilities for a short stay in the area were pretty good. We had a very long full-hook-up with good utilities and placement. We had excellent DirecTV, VZW, and OTA service and park Wi-Fi was very fast and uncongested (although not secured). Recent rains left a little mud in places, but it dried up quickly. The shared outside space (every other rig facing the opposite direction) is a little dated but that's offset by the long and angled sites, as your "neighbor" isn't right next to you. Big rig friendly with level sites. Construction made it difficult to get to park and recommend call for directions. Wi fi and laundry were good. Charge for showers so did not use. No dog park or grass to walk dog. Campground was not well maintained. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

One of the quieter parks we've stayed. For good reason. It's in a neighborhood well away from traffic. Park is older. While every thing worked it was not well maintained. Extended stay units scattered around the park. WIFI was adequate. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very hard to read small street signs coming in on 26 hwy . Check-in was easy and owner was friendly. The park might be in need of a little yard touching up. Given that there a a few planters with flowers to give a nice touch. Gravel sites and level pull-throughs. Connections good and locations good too! Checked out the bath/restrooms, were super clean. Timers on showers. Quiet from hwy and no railroad noise! Verizon and Mifi worked great. We would stay here again. Oh, sites are spaced OK, as they are opposite. Good if you travel with another couple and want to face each other doors. Tables at sites in good shape and painted. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is good for an overnight stop. Very quiet. It's located off the main road, there aren't any signs leading you there so it might be hard to find without GPS. There is a sign near the office asking that you not park on the grass. No problem, since there isn't any. The very friendly owner checked us in gave us a site close to the office to ensure wifi for us. As other reviewers have stated there is some deferred maintenance. We'd stay here again if in the area. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is a super Walmart closeby where we thought about staying but it was too cold and opted for hookups. There are also two supermarkets nearby.

We were very happy to get a pull through full-hookup site on short notice when we left Dubois (about 1.25 hours west) due to a fire pre-evacuation notice. Call for full directions when getting close, it's a little off the main drag. The accommodating owner/manager stayed late for our arrival and gave us a full orientation. There were many welcome shade trees (it was hot!) and very close to our site, but not a problem for our motorhome with no slide-outs. We would not have been able to put out our canopy, though. The gravel/dirt site was level and required no blocks. The electric power was strong and consistent and the modern electric tower was nicely high enough to allow the surge guard use. The water was of good pressure, clean, and decent tasting. Sewer hookups were easily accessible. WiFi signal seemed strong, but the amount of traffic seemed to overwhelm the system in the evening. Verizon cell service was good. There were two nice grassy areas for dogs, which were clean due to the many reminder signs to pick up after your dog. The park has made an effort also in this desert area to brighten the landscape with pretty watered flowers at each pull-through site and other areas near the entrance. The bathrooms were very clean, spacious, well-lit. Showers also very clean, $1 for 10 minutes with water-flow reducing shower heads. The laundry was wonderful, 13 regular washing machines, 2 oversize commercial washing machines, 8 big dryers, lots of folding space, modern vending drink machine, all in a spacious, swamp-cooled room. Lots of other nice RVs here, and the park seemed safe and quiet. A mosquito spraying truck rolled through in the evening. The RV sites are next to the same-owner storage facility. Not a fancy park, but totally more than adequate as a stopover. The owners have obviously made a lot of effort, focusing on important functional and hygienic improvements. Remember this is a desert area when wishing for lush landscaping. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Must have recently changed hands. Sites are dirt and not clean. Lots of weeds and many dead trees. Garbage dumpster was over flowing and looks very bad. Wi-Fi not good at last few sites and no cable or major networks available with regular antenna. Very dusty from people driving through park including park personnel on golf carts. They also drive very fast...

Manager was very friendly but over whelmed.

Not as represented in camp book. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Motorhome.
