The people here are very nice and informative. This park is away from the Interstate so it is very quiet. The utilities were adequate and the site was extra long and level, which was nice. My only issue is that the sites are really narrow. My slide out was right next to the neighbor's picnic table on one side and my awning almost touched the Motorhome on the other side. Still, it was a nice place for a one night stay. I would stay here again. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy interstate access, close, but reasonably quiet. Pull-throughs long enough for RV and toad and plenty wide enough for slides. Couldn't connect to Wi-Fi at night, but OK in the morning. Good AT&T coverage. Very helpful Peter D met us and guided us to our site. Our dogs approved of the large dog areas, both fenced and unfenced. Great place to overnight. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Would have given 10 stars except for the size of the sites. Laundry and restrooms were immaculate. It has a nice, fenced in dog park and the park is close to the western town of Sheridan. Peter D is always available to take care of anything you need. We would stay here again. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out the iconic Mint Bar downtown. It's more than a watering hole as it has unique construction, old time photos and taxidermy.

Sites are long enough to fit big rigs plus tow but are extremely close together. When slides are out, you can see into your neighbor's rig. Our awning could only be partially extended or we would be over the next site. The park is shaped like a horseshoe and all sites are pull-thru. The bathrooms/showers and a veggie garden are in the middle of the horseshoe. Sites and internal roads are gravel with grass between each site. Picnic tables are between sites but it's a tight squeeze to go around them. No trees on the sites so every space is open to the sky. Free WiFi is weak except near the office. Cable tv is great. Nice big off leash dog park. No pool or playground for kids. Owners are personable but have strict rules about where you can park you tow vehicle and what you can put on your site. It's right off the interstate between a residential area and hotels so there's some road noise. Good for an overnight stop. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Close to I-90, but little noise. Pull throughs are adequate in length, but sites are way to close to one another. We couldn't put our awning out as it would hit the next sites rig. I doubt that we will ever stay here again, sort of makes you feel like sardines in a can. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Roads are quite rough and unlevel. The bathrooms were extremely clean. Good for an overnight stop. The staff explained our options of Hwy 14 vs 14-A very well. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice little park, close to the freeway. narrow sites but ok access for big rigs. Spotless bathrooms, laundry and grounds. Very friendly owners; owner is quite a character. Nice for overnight or a couple days stay. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 3 nites. Owners are very friendly and even offered us veggies from the garden. Site was level with gravel roads/site. We had a pull through but it was so tight with the other sites, we had to back out. Not a big deal but as others have said the sites are pretty tight. I appreciated the small fenced dog park and areas to walk the dog. Quiet park but close to the freeway exit. Good Verizon cell and data but had faster in other places. Close to town. We've stayed here before and will come again. Adequate for a few days and the owner really tries hard to take of the place a good place. Definite pride of ownership. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a the best of a bunch of lame choices in the area. It is an old park with very tight spaces that are not particularly level. The water quality is terrible, though that is probably not the fault of the RV park. All that makes the $38 price with no discounts totally unjustifiable... except the park stays full. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Sheridan has a great downtown with a lot of neat shops. They have a farmers market each week and a craft market once a month.

This is a small, but well maintained rv park. Owner is very personable, friendly and helpful. Close to the interstate, but you don't hear all the noise. Spaces are closer than I would prefer, but they are manageable even with slide outs. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Plenty of things to see and do in and around Sheridan. Going to the King's Rope store and museum is a must-world famous.

A little tight, but we had no problems negotiating our way in and out of the park. Nice grassy area for the pets. Gravel parking spots for the RVs were level enough even though the whole property is on a bit of a slope. It's close to the freeway, but we didn't notice the noise at all. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The best part about this RV park are the owners. They are generous, helpful, conscientious, personable, outgoing, even in the face of hardship and inconvenience. The setting for the park is beautiful - surrounded by pastoral grassy fields and hillsides. I-90 is right over the hill, but we weren't bothered by noise. Perfect for taking advantage of everything in Sheridan - a great little western town. All the gravel sites are pull-throughs, kind of close together, and might be a little short for some rigs. Nice grass between sites. Great dog park at the campground and another really nice one nearby in town. Laundry and bathrooms are spotless. The owner grows veggies that she shares with guests gratis. We would definitely stay there again when passing through Sheridan. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

King's Saddlery and Museum on Main St. is a must! Also Sackett's Market is a great old fashioned butcher shop. Trail End and The Historic Sheridan Inn are also interesting.

Nicely maintained, convenient park with friendly owners. Convenient to the interstate but quiet at night. As mentioned before, beware the turn on to Joe Street. Sites are close together but long, fairly level gravel and the owner will keep spaces open on either side if possible. He furnished a stack of maps and menus while recommending places to visit and checked at the site each day to make sure we were comfortable. The WiFi was hit and miss depending on user activity. The cable was marginal but there are no obstructions to satellite TV. Verizon cell/4G were very good. A bit pricey but the location and friendly owners make it a worthwhile stay. We'll stay here again. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sheridan is a beautiful place with a vibrant downtown. The Wyoming Chop House is a short drive and has excellent food. The Trail End Historic Mansion is exceptional and well worth a visit. A drive into the mountains on highway 14 is a must; we watched as moose grazed along the highway.
