This is a nice park, the hook ups are well placed. The interior roads are rock as are the sites. There is grass and a table at each site. The down side is the sites are narrow and just long enough for our car and toad. As mentioned before the owners are helpful and nice. They have a lot of rules but for us that makes for a nicer stay. Easy access, we would stay here again. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sheridan is a great town. Do not miss, Kings Saddle, Sheridan Inn, Trails Inn, The Mint Bar, and just outside of town Brinton Museum. Great drive on Highway 14. The downtown area is one of the best for a small town we have been to. So much to do spend a few days you will be glad you did.

Nice, clean little park run by a very nice couple. The park is all pull through so no need to unhook. 30&50 amp power, good water pressure, sewer hookup, and level gravel sites. If you are lucky, when you check in there will be some fresh veggies from their garden available for you to take.. Nice and easy off and back on the highway and no noise from it. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Absolutely amazing!! Highly recommended to stay at Peter D's. We called around 6pm on a Saturday and he set us up with a site for when we arrived 2 hours later. The garden is beautiful. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous and most important to us was the extremely clean bathrooms. The shower pressure was perfect. Honestly, it was one of the best places we've stayed so far. Very quiet and the owner gave us great advice on where to explore and how to get to our next destination. There is even a restaurant that will give you a free appetizer if you are a guest with Peter D. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice, quiet smaller park not too far from the highway. Good size pull through sites with lots of grass between sites and around park. Good area to walk dogs around the perimeter. Very pleasant owner and had a nice conversation with him when I was walking the dog early morning. Scenery around park is nice and we saw some deer in the fields. I did not use the toilets/showers, but had a look in and they were clean. We have stayed here before and will do so again. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was more than just about the campground, the owner and his wife made our 4 day stay enjoyable and fun. They offered free garden fresh veggies while we were checking in, Peter would stop by our sites and tell jokes, he cleaned the bathrooms many times a day. They gave us coupons for free appetizers at the local steak house, awesome food. Great friendly experience here. As far as the campground goes, the sites are level, long and all FHU pull through. Power, water and cable tv all work great. Even though the highway is nearby, you cannot hear it because the campground is in a valley below the road, the sound travels over you. I will definitely stay here again. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. Very nice park, no freeway noise and slight train horns as they go though town. All pull thru sites. Owner/hosts are active in the park, very friendly and offers you vegetables from her garden. Electric was steady at 120V, water pressure was good, we used a 55PSI regulator. Sites are close, but spacious enough to sit and put your awning out. Sites are gravel/dirt, with grass between them. Each site has a picnic table. Clean laundry room and bathrooms. They are pet friendly but enforce the rules regarding leash and waste pickup, which we appreciate. This park is great for both an overnight or an extended stay. There is plenty to see and do in Sheridan. We would stay here again. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great Owners, quaint campground - loved it! The owner was incredibly hospitable - isn't it nice to be greeted by a genuinely happy person after a long day on the road. There is a vegetable garden in the middle of the campground and the office had lots of squash for the guests the days we were there. Each day we went and got a couple and had them for dinner - so good - free fresh veggies!! As soon as we arrived the owner came over and greeted our pups, he crouched on the ground and gave each of them treats - so nice. There is a nice dog run where they can play. Our site - #5 is level and very well maintained. The main road is nearby but on a hill and traffic could not be heard. It's a wonderful campground that I would highly recommend it! We are traveling in a 35 foot motohome with a wrangler and had no problem with fitting in the site. Wifi worked great during the day, a little slower in the evening. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Convenient to I-90, but also a lot of trains in the middle of the night and early morning. Gravel interior roads ok to get around on, but spaces are a little tight. Nice owners. Wifi barely showed up at our end of the park and I could not connect. owner said to come to the office. Cable tv free with about 13 channels. 50 amp service, good water pressure, good connections for sewer. Our site was not level, very low in back. Grass needed mowing. Verizon worked okay. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

I had read in a previous review that the park owners gave them a coupon for free fried green tomatoes, so I asked. We went to thenWyoming Rib and Chop restaurant nearby for lunch. Food was good, but a little fussy and too sweet for my taste. Fried green tomatoes were good, but a little sweet with the balsamic glaze.

Basic campground but well kept and big enough for 45' motor home. Level sites and roads. Owner is onsite and meticulous about rules which, we think, is a good thing in a small park. There is a fenced dog area. We would stay here again when passing through area. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Basic and clean RV park, we stayed for one night on our way through town. We checked in after hours and the process was easy and quick, with our site clearly marked. Our gravel site wasn't level, but it was long enough to stay hitched up. We had a little trouble manuevering with our 38' RV and I can imagine it would have been a lot tighter if the park had been full. The park is close to the interstate but highway noise was minimal. Good park if you just need a quick overnight stay. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cute little park, well manicured and neatly organized. However, sites are so close together, we literally had 3 inches from our awning to the neighbors slide out. Too, too tight. When departure day came around, staff came knocking on our coach door at 10:40 to remind us that check out was 11:00. When we said ok, he said very rudely, YOU BETTER BE OUT BY 11:00. Plenty of other places in the area to stay in that aren't rude and this tightly packed in. Save the headache and drive down to another cg where customers are king. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Loved the town of Sheridan but didn't enjoy the park. Very, very close together! Uncomfortably so.... The sites are so narrow that slide outs nearly touch and you can not put your awnings all the way out. The owner of the park is a micromanager at best and a tyrant at worst! He cruises the park many times a day in his truck looking for what he determines are infractions of his rules, printed or not! Not a pleasant atmosphere and then having your neighbor so close made things worse. Bathrooms and laundry very clean at all times. We did our laundry in town at "Wash Your Woolies" as I read in a review that the park owner had turned the dryers way down so you have to keep the quarters coming! I definitely could believe that! On parking....our site was just long enough for our RV but would not accommodate our truck also so we had to park by the bathrooms. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
