An excellent place to stay. The views of the mountains and valley are great, as are the owners. The sites are nice and wide and sit up on the slight hillside to overlook the view. Hookups are modern and in excellent condition. Highway noise was not excessive, and light during the night. We had a great stay and will return. We camped at Wolf Den RV Park in a Motorhome.
Nice place, nice owners! The best Wi-Fi we have had so far on this trip and they use passwords. A bit of road noise during the day but not a problem at night. The shower rooms/laundry building is not heated so when you want to do something in that building you must turn on the heat timer. We stayed here five days in mid May so it was very cool and windy. The Wolf Den restaurant was not open during our stay. You must drive to Alpine (12 miles) or Thayne (8 miles) for any restaurants or groceries. We recommend the Yankee Doodle cafe in Alpine. The shade trees are small: no shade. It rained while we were here and the gravel/dirt roads and sites tend to become gravel and mud. Luckily the mud dries relatively quickly. We would stay at Wolf Den again in the future. We camped at Wolf Den RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
We found this campground to be clean and well maintained. We used the laundry and everything worked as expected. The Wi-Fi can be inconsistent but we found it worked well. Other park users could experience different results. The place is quiet at night with some traffic noise through the day. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this campground to others. We chose a pull through but the internal road is so large that I could have picked pick a back-in and saved some cash. Overall, we rate this campground among the top ones we have stayed at. Beautiful setting. Nice new campground. Excellent sites, great hosts, and owners. Trees are in just need time to grow. Gravel roads and sites. Commute distance from Jackson, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone. Prices are more reasonable for a resort area. We would stay here again for a longer visit to the area. This is a brand new park with nice level sites, very clean restrooms, and great owners and hosts. Road noise is somewhat of an issue as well as the current lack of shade. Trees have been planted. It has a restaurant that is open seasonally and great outdoor kids activities. We stayed overnight and would stay here again. We camped at Wolf Den RV Park in a Motorhome.
