This park has 27 spots with Water, 30a and sewer. Spots are reasonably level. All gravel. It is a self service park so there is no one there for checkin. 1-2 bars on Verizon which is typical for Torrington. There were only 2 other RV's when I drove through. And two that were there permanently, didn't look like they were being used. Gave it an average score, serviceable but not exactly an outstanding RV park. We camped at City Slickers RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Tips for other Campers:
Nice museum in Torrington, the Homestead museum. Award winning Wyoming Winery about 30 minutes away, Table Mtn Winery, does tastings and sales. Give them a call for an appointment.
This is a "new" RV Park at 1270 W A Street - it's actually accessed off US Highway 85 on the south end of town, just west of Interstate futures. We stayed here a month ($350) because we have lots of friends in the area. It's very inexpensive but with no amenities. You need to call ahead and the manager will meet you at the site, and turn on power to your site. They're not yet set up for credit cards. There are no listings for RV Parks in Torrington, but you could also stay at Goshen Country Fairgrounds, in addition to this RV Park. All hookups worked fine. Be warned there are train tracks 3 blocks away, with heavy coal train traffic. We will stay here again because the sites were large, and the managers were very responsive when we needed anything. The RV park is very close to two nice grocery stores, and it's a wonderful town to walk around and shop. Friendly folks! We camped at City Slickers RV Park in a Motorhome.
