If you have to stop here then be ready for a gravel parking lot with unlevel sites, 2 wheels were off the ground, and not much else. The 30 amp power worked fine but he didn't have the water running yet even though he said it would be. There is no sewer hookup, just a dump station. There are no trees so our Dish satellite worked fine, which was good since there is absolutely nothing else in the area. He does offer free Wifi. Destruction Bay is named that way because of the very high winds that blew everything down when they first built the highway. We were advised to pull in with the head of the rig pointing south to minimize the winds. They did die down some at night. We'll only stay here again for 1 night if we absolutely need to. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed as part of a group and the owner went above board to make sure we had a good time. He fixed a very nice meal for us and even had a singer from Whitehorse come to entertain. Others staying in the park joined for the meal and entertainment. I don't know how often or if he does this if the large groups aren't camping. Sites were okay. We had long 65'+ reasonably level gravel pull thrus. All sites slope a little side to side. RVs were barely able to open slides due to tight parking. But sites are still easy in/out with very wide gravel interior roads. We had 30A & low pressure water. The park has a sewer dump but he discourages use since contents have to be hauled elsewhere due to permafrost. Park allowed rig washing which is nice considering the thick dirt you'll have coming from Tok. Bell had a strong cell signal and LTE data. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an OK park. Nice staff. The dump station is very strange--a deep cement hole, but it worked. Laundry room has only two washers & two dryers, one of which wasn't working. The pull-through gravel sites are side-by-side, sharing hookup posts. If the park had been full, it would have been very tight. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Basic RV for a stop over. 30 amp is marginal as the water pressure. Right of the road. Needed a place to stay coming from TOK. Not much here. Some road noise. Nice views. Pretty level. All gravel. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is your basic campground. We were looking for a place to stay coming from Tok--the construction and road were terrible. There is nothing in Destruction Bay [pop 40] so bring all your own stuff. The owner is gregarious and has a good draft beer on sale. People seemed to gather on the deck in the evening. Good wifi and delicious well water. No full service, but there is a dump station. They don't mind if you wash the road grime off your vehicle either. We would stay here again. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a good place to spend the night. Wi-Fi is free, the view of the lake very nice and the showers are free with enough hot water. Only when a large group or caravan is staying is the "lodge' actually open and functional. I think there is food, beer, BBQ grills, and even music but we never saw it because only six RVs were parked there the night we stayed. Also, do not expect to buy gas, no matter what the sign or advertisements state. The price we paid was for a 15 amp site; the 30 amp sites with water were $35CA. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Park and Lodge are a good stop. We were with a Winnebago tour group. Having survived the 2008 downturn it is in the process of being upgraded. It added 30 amp service and Wi-Fi this year. The restaurant is not back in service yet except for groups but next door at the gas station there is a restaurant that serves good food. The spots are gravel and there are not individual dumps. We would return. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Special deal: $25 a night due to fishing tournament going on. Basic gravel parking lot campground. Cool owner. Asked us to help out with arrivals as he was busy with the tournament!. Okay for an overnight stay. The free Wi-Fi was excellent. Good Sam discount. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fairly flat, gravel pull through. Our 45' fit fine. Only 30 amp and we were only staying the night. On the side of the road next to a older lodge. Nothing but the basics, but we didn't need anything else. No security or fences, but the price was fair. The mountain view was beautiful and a lake was only a few miles back. Served our purpose nicely. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

This RV park is typical to all the smaller RV parks that you find and stay at along the road in the trek to Alaska. There is not much to the park, but a parking spot with water, Electricity and a dump if needed. The spaces were very wide (we thought) but they were made for 2 RV's each facing in a different directions. They are all pull through. The RV hosts was very friendly and helped out on anything you needed. The bathrooms were clean and adequate. They allowed you to wash your vehicle where you parked if wanted. I would stop here again for one night (only because there is not much to do). We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Huge sites but not quite level. The owner was very friendly and eager to show off his CG. Great (free) Wi-Fi. Nice view of the mountains. We bought some hand made tables. We would stay here again and recommend this facility to everybody. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Huge sites. Owner very friendly. Great (free) Wi-Fi in the facility and on the deck, he told me, but mine worked on my site. Nice view of the mountains. We were allowed to wash the RV and car at the site for no extra charge!! We would stay here again. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

30 Amp + Water + Pull Through + free Wi-Fi that works. Parking is gravel, but this appears to be about as good as it gets on the Alaska Highway. Rate includes Good Sam Discount and sales tax. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are located in a large open gravel lot. There are no trees, but the sites are good-sized and fairly level. There's plenty of room for slides/awnings without infringing on your neighbor's space. It's close to the highway but the traffic noise is usually minimal. The owner is on-site and makes you feel at home. There is a bakery with great cookies and raisin cinnamon bread. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.
