The 1 km entry dirt road is riddled with small potholes, but is easily manoeuvrable. All sites are back-in, offer good privacy, and have a picnic table and fire ring. Most will handle big rigs, though, entry to many of the sites is narrow. If, like me, you are not the best at backing in, there are a number of double sites with wider entries. There are pit toilets but NO water, and free firewood. Unfortunately, like all territorial parks in the Yukon, they do not split the firewood so you will need a large axe if you want to take advantage of their 'free' firewood. $12 per night, self-registraion. We camped at Million Dollar Falls Campground (Yukon Government) in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $12.00

The campground, part of the Yukon Government Park system, is very spacious. Sites are long and have lots of room at the back of each one for sitting out, putting up a screened-in porch/tent, etc. There is a short walk to the viewing platform from which you can see the Million Dollar Falls. The park is quiet and wasn't full on either Friday or Saturday night. There is no water here, so make sure your fresh water tank is full. Also, we had no cell phone or WiFi (Canada Bell). We also couldn't get radio or television, so bring a book to read or a game to play. We camped at Million Dollar Falls Campground (Yukon Government) in a Fifth Wheel.

The road in is mostly dirt and is very dusty when dry, muddy when wet. The campground is probably very scenic when it's not cloudy & rainy as it was the two days I spent there. Sites very private, gravel, mostly shaded. The trail and wooden boardwalk along the falls is very nice. Did not use restrooms. Would come here again. We camped at Million Dollar Falls Campground (Yukon Government) in a Motorhome.

What a beautiful park! We were so surprised there were so few campers in the park. Huge sites in private wooded settings. Only had pit toilets but they were immaculate. Free fire wood was a nice plus on a chilly day. Gorgeous water falls with extremely nice boardwalk. We camped at Million Dollar Falls Campground (Yukon Government) in a Truck Camper.

South of Haines Jct, about halfway to Haines, AK. 1 mile dirt road to CG. No CG map. Big rig friendly sites are on inner loop of CG. Early in season, so pit toilets & fire pits were still clean. Primitive campground with no other facilities. Nice trail to view the falls, and fishing in the stream. Nice, quiet place. We camped at Million Dollar Falls Campground (Yukon Government) in a Fifth Wheel.
