This place is a dump. High weeds everywhere. Although we paid for sewer, no sewer. No water at the dump station. The electric at our site did not work. The site next to ours unplugged and went on generator so we could have electricity. No wifi even though they advertise having wifi. Advice: Do not stay here. We camped at Johnson's Crossing Lodge in a Truck Camper.

Overall Rating:

Sites were side by side, almost too close to use slide outs. No table. Beat up willow bushes between sites. They sent us to a site that someone was already in and paid for two nights. Ended up having to back trailer up on a curvy road to get back out so we could enter a different site. Had sewer hook up but had to stack rocks on top of hose to get it to stay in the hole. Nice walk down to the boat ramp. Watch your dogs. Owner allows hers to run loose and it is a barker. She will not call it back unless yours shows it is not happy with her little yapper. She will tell you to calm down right up until your dog lunges at hers! Not a good place to even overnight unless you're stuck. We camped at Johnson's Crossing Lodge in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Woman in the bakery was friendly and nice. But had to practically beg another woman to please help us because she was also waiting on a table of 6 customers in the restaurant. Had a super yummy meal of liver and onions.

Not much of a park, just a place for overnight. Limited sites for big rigs, the first one they put us in had a reverse polarity problem. Ended up parking across from pumps and toad was in roadway a bit. Didn't hook up to water or sewer. Dusty when dry as no gravel around. Turns on road were tight, had to trim bushes to make a turn. Restaurant/Bakery is really good ate dinner and grab rolls for breakfast. We camped at Johnson's Crossing Lodge in a Motorhome.

Nice park with a great restaurant. Pull thru spots 50x20 with easy access. No cell service and free wifi is terrible. Great park as long as you don't need communications. Would stay here again. We camped at Johnson's Crossing Lodge in a Motorhome.

Most of what we saw was pull-thru, as was ours. Nothing elaborate, but clean grounds, facilities and hookups worked good. WIFI was excellent and the restaurant/bakery was very good. A nice, quiet 'homey' park. We camped at Johnson's Crossing Lodge in a Travel Trailer.

New owners as of two years ago, seeing improvements. Parking, most are back-in, but managed to get one of the pull-thru. Level, gravel and not spacious, but it was quite doable. Only had 15 amp. Restaurant - was really good, nice gift shop of local items. Did not use bathrooms or showers, but they were clean. Has a gas station too. We camped at Johnson's Crossing Lodge in a Motorhome.

The best thing I can say about this park is that it is the only one available in this long stretch of Yukon Territory. It is very laid back and the sites are very small and crowded. Poorly maintained facilities and relatively inattentive staff. I would not recommend this park or stay her again. We camped at Johnson's Crossing Lodge in a Fifth Wheel.

The best tip I can give is: don't stay here unless you absolutely have to, i.e., emergency, illness, etc.

A must stay. Their restaurant serves great food. They have nice, level tree sites with full hook up. There is also access to boat launch ramp. The location is convenient for ride into Skagway, Alaska or to go mountain bike riding in Carcross. They have a nice gift shop with local made crafts. Showers and laundry are also available. Hosts are super nice and welcoming, and they are pet friendly. They bake bread, rolls, scones and other items daily that are delicious. We camped at Johnson's Crossing Lodge in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Campground is associated with a lodge and restaurant. About 10 pull-through sites with full hookups. These sites are fairly close and about 40 ft. long. A couple of sites out front in the open may take bigger rigs. Other sites in the bush are E&W or dry. Wi-Fi worked well enough for e-mail and browsing. Most of the pull-through sites open enough for satellite TV. Not that much choice along this stretch of the Alaska highway if you want a full hookup so would probably stay here again if ever in the area. We camped at Johnson's Crossing Lodge in a Motorhome.
