Had a level pull through site. I only had water and 20 amp electricity. There was a picnic table. Beautiful view of lake. Dump station can be used on the way out. WI-FI was in the restaurant; I did not try to connect to the WI-FI. Good spot for a one night stop over. We camped at Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a well laid out RV park, immediately after you pass the Teslin bridge when heading north. There are about 60 sites. Most of the pull-through sites are 30 amp and all of the back-in sites are 15 amp. For a private campground, sites are fairly spacious and there is plenty of room to maneuver. All sites have a picnic table but no fire pit. There is a laundry ($3/wash, $0.25/ 5 minute dry). Gas and diesel ($1.17/L) are available. If you stay overnight, you get a 4 cent per liter discount on fuel.

The motel has a restaurant with homemade bread, pies, and cinnamon and pecan buns. The pecan buns are delicious. We camped at Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Across the road is Nisutlin Trading Post which is a grocery store/gas station with a decent selection of packaged foods, fresh milk, and limited supplies of meat and produce. They also sell propane by the pound.

If you have picked up "The Last Great Road Trip" brochure from any Yukon visitor center, there is a coupon for a 4 cent per liter fuel discount at Nisutlin.

We stayed one night at the Yukon Lakeside Resort. The sites are very close. There is no shade. Our site was long enough for our 38ft 5th wheel, and we stayed connected. The wifi is only available at the restaurant. We camped at Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Walk across the street to the boat launch, there is an information board that tells about that area being the headwaters of the longest chum and chinook salmon run in the world. Be sure to visit the George Johnston museum. It is super interesting with lots of info about the local indigenous people.

Basically a parking lot located right next to a lake. The rest rooms and showers were the clincher to stay there, and, 4 cent per gallon discount for fuel if you stay a night. WiFi is very limited, basically you need to be in the restaurant to use it. Not a place I would travel to, to stay more than one night, but more than acceptable for a single night. This campground is very busy and looks to be a regular stop for RVers heading up the Highway because of it's size and facililties. Our site was good, wifi was fine but we were close to the store. They don't have sewer hookup but the dumpstation was easy to access on your way out. If you have the time, you should visit the Tlingit Heritage Center and George Johnson Museum to learn about the First People who settled here. We camped at Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overpriced for the hookups. Asked for 30amp, got 20amp. Level site, but more of a 'gotcha' stopover. The restaurant staff was geared to 'if we ain't got it, the stop 30 minutes down the road does'. Next time, we'll stay at Johnson's Crossing and give them all the biz. We camped at Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We made our reservation three months in advance. Our reservation was for 50 amp and full hookups. When we checked in we were told our site "Had been given away" because "they had a lot of people checking in". It seems to me that people who make reservations should be given priority over people who just show up. So, they gave us a site that was not al all level, had only 30 amp service and had no sewer. Very disappointing. If you have a reservation system, then use it! We would not stay here again. We camped at Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are definitely 30 amp and gravel, with water at sites. Many are pull through, fairly level but not perfectly so. Picnic tables, grass and small trees between many sites. Easy access from road and within for our 40 ft motorhome towing a car. Nice dump station. There are 20 amp sites available for a lower price but even the 30 amp sites are the most affordable we've seen up here. Nice restaurant/lounge on site as well as gift shop with wildlife gallery. Right on a lake, very quiet. Stayed both coming and going to Alaska. We camped at Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort in a Motorhome.

Affordable for an overnighter, WiFi at the restaurant only, good food not overpriced. There is a gift shop with amazing stuffed local animals, free with a donation, we'll worth it.Good cell service at the sites, which is down by a lake, sunrise was breathtaking. This RV park is in Teslin, Yukon Territory, MilePost marker 804 (1244 km). The road and sites are gravel and not very level (our front tires were completely off the ground when leveling was through). The sites are pull-through or back-in, with decent water pressure, 20 or 30 amp, and a dump station. Some sites face a small lake and mountains, others are nearer the washrooms, showers and laundry. A ticket for one hour of free WiFi is given at the front desk in the restaurant, but it's extremely slow.

Service at the restaurant was also slow, but she was friendly and the only one waiting on 10 tables. The food at the restaurant was pretty good and open until 9 p.m. We camped at Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort in a Motorhome.

Park is right at the Teslin River, right on the highway. Site was level gravel, well cared for. Fuel there is 3 cent per litre discount for staying there, which was nice. People very friendly. Is attached to a motel, and there is a wildlife gallery on site also. Very interesting. A good stop between Whitehorse and Watson Lake. Would stay again.
