This is a Good Sam park with a very friendly owner and right now it is the only campground in Watson Lake. We stayed here in June and August. Both times we were assigned a pull thru 30 amp full hook up site. We were so close to our neighbors that our slides were just about touching. WiFi is available while sitting near the office. Did not use the bathhouse or laundry. Everything in town is just a short walk away from the campground. They advertise a free RV wash but their pressure washer is not free and is very expensive to use. The alternate free water connection was damaged and not useable. We filled our fresh water tank and used that to wash our RV and truck. . We would stay here again. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean restrooms/showers. Manager friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi works great in sites near office. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great place to stay - so convenient to everything - shopping, Sign Forest, Northern Lights Theater, restaurant - all within walking distance. Only one 50 amp site but they will let you request it. Full-hook-ups. Huge area to wash your RV. Cable TV. Free Wi-Fi that worked okay. The closer to the office, the better you get it. Have stayed here before and would stay again. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nothing but a gravel lot. Pull-throughs are very tight and they are still crowded in mid-August. Infrastructure works well. The owner is nice and will get you to the cheapest gas. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

As another camper put it, this is a typical gravel parking lot campground. The spaces are tight and when we were there, our neighbor pulled in crooked and there was literally (we measured) 10 inches between our slide and theirs. We couldn't even put a chair beside our unit, although he had plenty of room on the other side of his. The owner is very nice and friendly, and easy to work with. Our spot was very close to the office and with our wifi booster, had perfect internet. Most activities are within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this park for your stay. Convenience is a big plus! We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is your typical gravel parking lot park. Sites are tight together so lining up slides can be an issue. That said, you have to meet the owner! He is friendly, has you laughing, and is quick to point out where everything is in town. You can walk to the grocery store, the Northern Lights Centre, and the sign post forest from the park. WiFi was best on the porch so settle in and make new friends. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

First I called a reserved a back-in site for $36 and when we got there we were sardined into a pull thru site for $40 - could almost reach out and touch the neighbors. This is just a dusty gravel parking lot - our site was so un-level the tires on the driver side were off the ground. The only good thing was it was a block from the sign forest and across the street from the grocery store and a small city lake (infested with mosquitoes). Would find another park if possible. We camped in a 5th wheel. Spent a lot of time sharing horror stories of the trek to and from Alaska with the neighbors. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

It is a gravel parking lot but the wash rack has very good pressure for washing the RV and price is reasonable. Wi-Fi is weak. Spots are level and the park is close to shopping and the sign forest. Host was helpful and provided the name of best gas station in town and provided a discount card that was useful for reduction in fuel cost in a town further north on the Alaska Highway. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is the only park in town. The other one burned down and there are other parks west of town. From this park you can walk to the grocery store, the department store, the sign forest, the Northern Lights Center, a restaurant, the library, bank & post office. It has an RV/car wash. The cable is pretty good for Canada. The owner subscribes to more than one cable company and mixes up what he sends out to the sites. The Wi-Fi was fine but we were right next to the office. I saw someone carrying his laptop up to the office so maybe the signal doesn't reach the entire park. At the time we stayed there was only one site with 50 amps. It is right next to the office and that was the site we had. The owner is very personable. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Your basic overpriced, gravel parking lot, but they did have WiFi. Hookups were fine. Staff friendly. Not much else to choose from if you need services. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Just a big gravel parking lot, but spaces are big. Poor wi-fi. The host is very friendly. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is basically a gravel parking lot with hookups. It's the only game in town, so they don't care if the park is attractive. On the other hand, they do provide the basic services, and the staff is friendly. Not a place to stay for more than one night, however. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nearly the only game in town. Expensive gravel parking lot. Kept one slide in and definitely no awning here. More room at a Walmart (none here). A few TV channels which were clear. Wi-Fi weak but useable. Showers were OK. Would plan the next trip to skip this park if I could. The sign thing is the only interesting thing in town and that isn't that interesting. Northern Light Center is $10/person for 50 min film, not worth it. So...pass Watson Lake if you can. Money is CAD with GoodSam discount. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ok for one night. We stopped at 4 pm and there was one pull through left. Dog leash rule not enforced. Local dogs visit the park often. Sites have no space between them. No fire pits - thank goodness! Wi-Fi is ok, if you are not blocked by another rig between you and the office - which is the case for a lot of the park. The town itself looks a little worn out. The visitor center was helpful. Would stay again if in the area and needed a spot to stop. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Typical gravel parking lot - good for one night. Nice community park across the street. Stopped at sign forest and then went on down the road. Nothing special to say. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.
