This park is convenient to the sign forest, the grocery store, the visitor center with its museum and a walking trail partially around the lake. We had pull-thru site and were able to walk to all of these and not unhook our Jeep. The sites are very close, have no picnic table and no fire pit. The sites are dirt but level and the hook-ups work fine. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stay here only if you can't find anything else. Price is too high for what you get. Sites are barely 14' wide so your neighbor's slide is only a foot or so from yours. Park is basically a level gravel parking lot with hookups. Utilities worked fine (30 amp, water, and sewer). Owners are livid about water usage and threaten eviction if you wash your windshield or RV nose. They want you to pay to wash at their RV wash. WiFi doesn't work. Cable TV works fine. Cell coverage is good. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Convenient location near Sign Post Forest and Northern Lights Center. Sardine spaces, but just there for the night. Utilities worked good. WIFI was terrible and you had to be at the office and only allowed 1 hour access. Park was clean, would stay again just for a night. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Basically a gravel parking lot with spaces very tight. It was convenient to the Signpost forest and a grocery store. The laundry facilities were good so we got prepped for further travel. . . We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

OK place to stay for overnight as options are limited in the area. Basically a big gravel parking lot. Spaces are very close together. When you step out of your trailer, be careful not to step on your neighbor's sewer hose! Really no room. Wi-Fi didn't work and manager couldn't be bothered to help. We would look for another park in the future. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Park is nothing fancy. Its a basic large gravel field with hookups. Spaces are flat, but very close together. Our neighbor's dump connection was 23 inches from our door steps (I measured). I often wondered if the neighbors were having their morning conversations with me too. Utilities are good. The park has cable TV and internet, although don't expect too much from the internet (That seems to be a common weakness of most all the RV parks we've been to in Canada). There is a coin operated RV wash station with high pressure water, buckets and brushes on site. The pump works intermittently and the wash area is very muddy. Laundry room is clean.Manager is very nice and helpful. Overall, a good park and we would not hesitate to stay again. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

By far the worst campground we stayed in during our trip to Alaska. They charged us $52 even with the Good Sam discount. It was a gravel parking lot with a beat up apartment complex behind it. The WiFi only functioned at the office and absolutely did not work despite the campground being mostly empty. This was the only place I felt like we were being price gouged. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy in and out, utilities worked fine. Gravel parking lot, so what? Short walk to the Northern Lights show, and sign post forrest. Also a well stocked grocery store as you turn of the highway towards the park. Large truck stop just north passed the sigh post forest that had very reasonable diesel prices. Would stay here again if the timing of the trip worked out. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Another gravel parking lot with hookups. We had a back-in that required leveling. Noticed that big rigs in the pull-throughs looked a bit tight. All utilities worked fine. Cable TV had around 15 channels and they were clear. Wi-Fi was free for first 30 min. and worked okay, but was slow. Close to most of Watson Lake activities. For that reason would probably stay here again if in the area. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

An average campground you find along the Alaska Highway. Just an overnight stop for us. Could not hookup to the Wi-Fi service, good OTA TV reception, clear sky for rooftop satellites. Office staff very nice. Was not a favorite stop of the pups; not a lot of room to walk. This is a gravel parking lot, with sites very close together. We we may try a different place next time. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is essentially a parking lot. The sites are level gravel, some pull-through and some back-in and all very close together. The utilities worked well and the Wi-Fi was okay for the 30 minutes you get. After the 30 minutes you have to wait for at least an hour and then you might can log in again for another 30 minutes. The park is easy to get to and easy to get around in. We would stay here again for a short visit. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Make a personal sign for the signpost forest and mount it on one of the newly erected posts. Wye park has live music on certain days of the week. Take your chair and enjoy the free music. Watson Lake fuel prices are cheaper than the next choices if heading to Alaska.

Positives: Location right in Watson Lake, convenient to Sign Post Forest, Northern Lights Centre, grocery store and gas station. 30-amp electric, cable TV and RV wash. Negatives: Basically a gravel parking lot; some trees around perimeter, and very little grass. Another RV was assigned the site next to ours; sites so tight that our slide-outs almost touched. Ridiculous, since there were plenty of empty sites - why not fill every other one? We won't be staying here again. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is simply a gravel lot with sites very close together. Owner was very helpful and pleasant. Good overnight stop where hookups are the most important issue. This park isn't pretty but its functional. I would not consider it a prime stop for a long term stay. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.
