This is an overnight transit stay type of park. Site was level, not fancy and we used our RV for all services. We looked at the 8 available (2 closed) pull thru sites, selected what we wanted and pulled in. The other parts of the businesses at this junction looked closed or failing. Nice people - just don't know how long it will be around. We had power (although there were 2x 30A plugs, and the first I selected tripped quickly - the second didn't), water, and septic. We had no cellular service and we learned you won't have cell service as you go down the Cassiar Highway so complete your reservations and contact your family before you go south. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Watson Lake for groceries, the Sign Post Forest, etc. We just wanted to empty tanks and add water before going about 50 miles to Boya Lake Provincial Park for 2 nights since it is a dry camp and you want to be there early.

Arrived at 5:30 PM to check in and was greeted by a sign that said the park offices and all functions closed until 8:00 PM. I picked a site and after 8:00 walked a couple of hundred yards back to the office and was refused my Good Sam discount because I did not have Canadian cash to pay for the site. There was not information about this policy listed. The next morning I went to get fuel at their station that is pay at the pump. The card reader showed an error code and said pay inside. I went inside and was told they cannot accept payment there and would have to wait for them to reset the fuel system. I left after over 15 minutes of waiting and headed down the highway to another station. They need to get it together. Place looks very run down. There are at least 20 year old abandoned coax connections at the sites that were disconnected and the just left coming out of the ground. There was some type of an old building next to our site that had just been boarded up. No sign of ongoing maintenance of the sites our the interior roads. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

As the previous reviewer stated most of the buildings on the huge property are closed. The park is very quiet. The sites are wooded and the mosquitos and bugs are ferocious. The picnic tables need work. No cell service. Heading toward Watson lake about 3 or 4 miles you will get cell service and then again in Watson Lake. The parking lot getting to the rv park has some pot holes. Reasonably priced gas is on the property. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Watson Lake (a town of 800 people) has some services. The welcome center behind the Sign Post Forest (over 82,000 signs and license plates mounted on trees and poles) has a movie about the building of the Alaskan Highway and lots of information. Across the street is the Northern Lights Centre that has a Sci Dome 360 theater with several showings daily.

No frills place to stay. Great for a one nighter. Check in at the gas station then go and pick out your site. We had full hookups that work well. Our site was level but overgrown with branches. Very peaceful and quiet. There are no amenities at this place other than gas and some snacks at the gas station. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Junction 37 is easy to find. Not so the campground. Go to the open store/gas station and check in. There is no map of the CG so go hunting and pick your site. Some are back-in, some are pull-thru and some are full hook-ups. This CG looks like a ghost town. At the entrance there is an abandoned saloon, fuel station. One thing it has, peace and quiet. Its a good value and actually, if you don't need facilities outside your rig, its okay. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Small park adjacent to gas station/convenience Store. Long, level, gravel, pull-throughs with full hookups. Quiet park with trees; plenty of room for big rigs, and walking dogs. No TV or cell; Wi-Fi at convenience store. Was fine for overnight. We would stay again. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Operator said no washrooms or laundry, but all I wanted was a full hookup. Our site (#3) was a very long gravel pull-through that could have accommodated any size rig or combination. The utilities all worked fine. Some of the other pull-through sites in our section looked a bit worn. No Wi-Fi or TV. Not sure if satellite TV would work due to the trees located between the sites. This is an old campground that has seen better days, but if all you want is a full hookup it would be okay for an overnight stay. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Junction 37 Services has fuel which at 129.9 was 20 cents cheaper than Dease Lake BC. So if you are driving up the Stewart Cassiar highway to the Alaska highway, Bell 2 Lodge and this place are my preferred stops. Avoid filling up at Dease Lake if you can.

This is a no frills campground. The sites are wide and long. They are not tight and each site has shade. Only about 15 minutes from the sign forest. Worth the drive! Our granddaughter made a sign which we hung for her. We stayed on our way to and from Alaska. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

Junction 37 badly needs maintenance and has spotty management due to absentee (Whitehorse-based) ownership. But it had long, shaded, full-hookup, pull-thrus for the best price in town. We stayed here twice, going to and coming from Alaska. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This RV Park seems to get bad reviews. We just stayed there overnight and would do an overnighter again. This is a simple park with nice size, gravel pull-through sites. The site we stay, #2, had full hookups. Yes, you do have to check in at the office that is shared with the gas station, but we did not find this a problem. Not sure if they have laundry and showers, probably not. For the price and if you are self contained, this is a good choice for overnight. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

About 15 miles west of Watson Lake - AT the junction to Rt 37 South - Cassiar Highway. Plenty of signs advertising this place - including a restaurant. Only thing open is gas station ("office" for RV park) along with one burned-down building. Restaurant closed; saloon closed. RV park is barely maintained. Had water, 30Amp, and sewer in an adequate pull-through. Washrooms were barely useable; didn't even look at showers. Were it not for the fact that it would a be a 30 mile round-trip out of our way (headed south on the Cassiar), we'd have gone into Watson Lake. Dry-camping would be preferable (and plentiful in the area), were it not for our traveling companions who couldn't dry-camp. We won't be staying here again. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This RV park has the bare essentials: water, electricity, and bathrooms. That is it; do not expect more. No TV and no Internet. The space (pull-through) is long, and I had no problem with my 40' motorhome and tow vehicle. Although it did stretch the limit on the 25' water hose. For an over nighter, this place is perfect. The bathroom was clean, but did need some TLC/updating. The rating I gave is based solely for a place to stay overnight and not be parked next to the highway or pay more at a spot down the road just to stay one night and rest. We would stay here again if for only one night. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

OK for overnight. Park is "For Sale" so it is in decline. Only six other RV's here tonight. Still, felt safe here. It appears that, at one time, it was a very nice park. Shame to see it going downhill. Would stay here again if we needed to. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

Better than it looks from the road. Sites are spaced decently and have small strips of trees between them. The bathrooms and laundry are in converted mobile trailers and a bit rundown. The dryer did not work to dry our clothes so make sure to check them first if you use the facilities. Seems less crowded and more off the highway than other Watson Lake campgrounds we saw.
